I had an amazing experience at Secrets Tides! The hotel itself is beautiful, with excellent facilities, clean and comfortable rooms, and a relaxing atmosphere that makes it perfect for a getaway. The services are truly outstanding—everything is well organized, and the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. One of the highlights of my stay was the entertainment team. Mayra stood out for her kindness, great attention, and warm personality—she really makes guests feel special. I also want to mention Gregori and Teddy, who were incredibly fun and energetic. They brought so much life to the activities and made every moment enjoyable. Overall, Secrets Tides offers top-quality service, great entertainment, and an unforgettable experience. I would definitely come back!

We have just returned from 2 weeks at this beautiful hotel. We did the tui transfer and that was fine. We arrived after about 45 mins and as soon as we stepped out of the bus the staff were there, greeting us, taking cases and offering a drink. Check in was quick and we were very grateful for the pool view upgrade. We were then shown to our room by Andy who gave us lots of information and very friendly. The room was stunning. A good size, huge comfortable bed and had everything you need. It was cleaned very well each day by Eddy. The pools are lovely and we could find beds all times of the day but alot were reserved very early. We prefer the beach and did find we needed to go down by 9 for the best spots. The buffet was excellent for breakfast and sitting outside on the terrace always had good service. Paelo was very smiley and served us very well at breakfast and lunch. The food was excellent and such a good choice. My only thing we found strange was no crackers to have with cheese at lunch or dinner just breakfast. I did ask one day at lunch and Francisco delivered. The wine top ups can be a little slow at times but once the staff get to know you like many glasses with your meals they were there to offer some more. A bottle of house wine would be a nice option to be able to order in the restaurants so you dont need to keep asking. We tried all the restaurants and some twice. All meals we enjoyed just some better than others and some service better than others. It was my husbands birthday whilst there and after having a few hiccups with promises the concierge did go out of their way to ensure we had some good evenings in the restaurants. The bar staff in the lobby bar were exceptional. Alberto and the team treated everyone with such friendliness and our glasses were never empty. A credit to the hotel. We found the service was excellent whether you tipped or not and I believe thats how it should be but as they were so good you really do want to thank them. The entertainment was excellent. The Beyonce and Queen show were great. We enjoyed the live music in the lobby bar early and then followed by some fun shows and lots of dancing. The animation team did a great job getting people involved. The pool bar/ beach bar was the only place we found it very slow to get a drink. More staff definitely needed at the bar. There are always staff going around taking orders but we do like to go to the bar. The beach is great to walk both ways for a good long stroll. We did find the beach area at Tides was the best kept in the area. The removal of the little bit of seaweed was always kept on top of. It was a perfect beach for us with some fun waves. The sports bar was a good option for food if you didnt want a formal meal. We enjoyed everything we ordered there and service great. Nice to have some late music if a late night was on the cards. Drinks we found good. Some inconsistency at times but still good. Personally we prefer a separate mixer ourselves but didnt seem to be an option here. Also we do like nibbles/ snacks with drinks but that didnt seem the normal here. Also it would have been nice to sit and listen to the band during the day around the pool but where they set up that wasn't possible unless on a sunbed very close. A few tables and chairs nearby would have been nice. We did participate in the rum tasting, cocktail making and wine tasting. The wine tasting was exceptional and such a lovely touch to have the cheese, meats etc to accompany the wine. The 2 gentleman were very knowledgeable. Would be lovely to have a cheese tasting event as the hotel cheese selection in the buffet was excellent. One thing I would like to mention is the sunbeds on the beach on the non preferred side need replacing and to have all the same beds. There were all different beds and some broken. Would look much nicer if all the same and tables to 2 beds. The coffee shop was a great addition and gets well used. The ladies who work in there are so happy and friendly and a credit to the hotel. The majority of the staff were all very pleasant just the odd few where eye contact would have been good. Overall we had a very good holiday and hope to return next year and maybe the odd issues we found will be addressed.

We just got back from an incredible vacation at Secrets Tides Punta Cana, and it was everything we hoped for and more! The resort itself is stunning and modern, but what truly made our trip special was the people. A massive shout-out to Coca Cola from the entertainment team! They were absolutely wonderful—bringing so much energy, laughter, and fun to every activity. Especially pool volley ball! They truly went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having a great time, and our experience wouldn’t have been the same without them. The entire entertainment team was top-notch. From the daily poolside activities to the nightly shows, they kept the vibe perfect the whole time. If you’re looking for a resort that balances relaxation with high-energy fun, this is it. Between the beautiful grounds, the great service, and the amazing staff like Coca Cola, we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

My husband and I visited this resort last month and had the most wonderful stay. The environment was so peaceful and exactly what we were looking for. The resort was very well maintained and easy to navigate. Housekeeping was too notch, we had breakfast every morning at the buffet and came back an hour later to a clean room with new linens and towels. We visited most of the restaurants, El Patio being our favorite. The buffet was also a wonderful option as there was always so much to choose from! We made so many friends at the multiple bars on the resort, the bartenders made every day so much fun! The attentiveness was incredible as well, I don't think I ever even came close to finishing my drink without someone quickly offering to grab me another. If you visit this resort, keep and eye out for Robinson, Luis, Isael, they're so great. Last but not least, my favorite part of the resort..the entertainment team. Our week truly wouldn't have been the same without our favorite staff member "Coca Cola". We spent hours playing pool volleyball with him and it was some of the most fun we've had in a very long time. He even had my husband doing water aerobics! He had us laughing our whole trip to the point where if we were to return to this resort, we would specifically book on a week where he would be working! Definitely recommend secrets tides for anyone looking for an incredibly relaxing vacation with lots of laughs.
