The resort is beautiful and well maintained and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We especially appreciated that the resort was quiet and uncrowded and there was no competition for lounges at the beach and pool. The concierge service was great and Jose Simeone was always available and very helpful and informative.

10 out of 10. We can't wait to return. This was our second trip to Zoetry Agua and it did not disappoint! Beautiful grounds, beautiful beach, beautiful room, and most importantly beautiful and kind staff who we miss already! Renny (night manager) and Joel (night bartender) were wonderful company and we enjoyed getting to know them! This resort is hands down our favorite -- it is a truly special place. We can't wait to see you in 2027! Stacie and Patrick from Charlotte, NC

My husband and I had a wonderful 2 week stay. We had a great concierge, Jose Simeon who assisted us when needed. There are no reservations needed for the 3 restaurants- each restaurant has 2 alternating menus so basically 6 restaurants to choose from! The food was outstanding We enjoyed the activities- jewelry , pottery, a complimentary beach ride on well behaved horses ( you don’t need any experience) and especially the Spanish classes. Benjamin is a fantastic teacher and I learned a lot of beginner Spanish!!! The spa is wonderful and we took advantage of the free 20 minute massage and booked a couples massage as well- the coupons from the lobby help. We used the spa many times- so relaxing. Due to an injury before trip, we couldn’t take advantage of the many fitness classes. The people who work here are just lovely and always so helpful- I couldn’t possibly name them all but Leady at Indigo was one of my favorites. The staff here is one of Zoetry’s greatest assets. The only negative is the biting insects. My husband had no issue but I was covered in bites; I ended up using Deep Woods Off wipes twice a day and tried to avoid any scented products . My husband didn’t need to use anything- no bites! Zoetry uses a spray that minimizes any harm to the environment.

Early one morning, a rat fell from the ceiling into our guest room, landing next to the bed. We immediately contacted the front desk, and staff came to remove it. What was more troubling was the response afterward. The incident was attributed to a neighboring property and the resort’s “natural habitat.” The hotel’s general manager later justified the situation by stating: “Due to our resort’s natural surroundings and Rainforest ecosystem, occasional issues can occur despite our strict prevention protocols.” There was also initial hesitation to move us despite clear hygiene and safety concerns. Although we were eventually relocated to another room with apologies, the incident itself—and the reluctance to act promptly—fell well short of expectations for a Hyatt property. Further, because the hotel adopted a very casual response to a rat falling from the ceiling of the hotel room, it lets me wonder how often guests experience rats in the hotel premises.

We stayed at this beautifully manicured and peaceful property for 4 nights. We had a garden view room which we loved - it was very private. Our room was nicely furnished (the bed was so comfortable!) and housekeeping did a wonderful job servicing the room. Each and every one of the Zoetry team we encountered was kind and helpful. One evening we dined at Amaya which we thought was very good, but our favourite was Piraguas - the menu alternated between Mexican and Dominican and the food was creative and delicious. Our butler, Jose Simeon, was very likeable and very helpful - especially when assisting us with our transfer back to the airport. The only downside side is that although the property caters to adults, there were some children - not a lot, but this would be the only thing that may keep us from returning.

This place is paradise. I have traveled to beaches the world over and this place is it! The cuisine is artful (I had never had breakfasts like these - they are terrific). The sand is fine-grained. The buildings are thatched-roof with native materials. The staff harvests coconuts from the trees daily. The ocean is emerald green near shore, crystal blue at a distance, and royal blue on the horizon. The rooms are oversized, with exquisite fixtures and slate facilities. The sitting porch provides an uncluttered view of the ocean. They speak English here, and the serving staff is relentless. As you relax in a wooden lounge on the beach, fresh bottled water appears. Later, when you awake, a frozen drink is sitting next to you. This place is not crowded and is intended to provide the isolation you deserve!

Zoetry is Pure Poetry.
Everything you HOPE for in an all-inclusive is presented exquisitely. Not a single buffet in sight. All meals are freshly prepared, even our special order paella. The seafood was so fresh I could have sworn I saw a staff member emerge from the ocean with my catch. From the moment you arrive, you know you are entering a private and exclusive resort - so much so, there's no name on the gate. An open entryway, extremely hospitable staff and very inviting accommodations. They have clearly thought of every possible detail - even on rainy days. Just don't fool yourself into thinking a quick trip will suffice.
