Mixed Review - Great service, awkward hotel
We have stayed at several Dreams and Secrets locations throughout Mexico. While the service met our admittedly high expectations, everything else felt a bit lackluster. The layout/design of the hotel is horrible. You have to take multiple elevators (that are not located near each other) to make it from your room to the pools/restaurants. Also they boast that the hotel is designed to feel like a cruise ship. However there is a HUGE difference between a cruise ship and a hotel. A cruise ship moves creating a lovely breeze. A hotel does not causing hot humid air to get stagnant and stuck. Certain parts of the hotel were unbearably hot while other areas were perfectly pleasant. Tons of great food options. Arguably too many different pool options. Service was incredible. Truly. The Ambition Suite was absolutely lovely. But overall the lack of entertainment and extremely awkward layout in a massive hotel have me hesitant to return when I visit Puerto Vallarta again in a few months.

Amazing Secrets Bahia Mita!
Secrets Bahia Mita is a beautiful, unique resort on a beautiful beach. The atmosphere was more spa like and relaxing than a party resort. We had a preferred club partial ocean view room and the view was excellent. You could see the ocean and the lower pools. The room had plenty of storage space when unpacking. The food was honestly some of our favorite so far. We especially like Bordeaux and the Blue Water Grill. The resort has so many unique touches like the whale and coral projection around the spa at night, the Koi pond and the turtles, and the layout. It never once seemed crowded! We were a bit concerned about some of the common areas being shared but it was absolutely not an issue. We can’t wait to return!

Great destination wedding experience
Beautiful property, unbelievable friendly staff, food is over the top good. Would definitely go back and recommend it for others. We were there for a friend's wedding and had the most amazing time.
