Privately owned and accessible only by boat, The Lodge on Little St. Simons Island has retained the charm and unhurried pace of coastal living. Moss draped live oaks and glistening marshes surround comfortable accommodations for no more than 32 overnight guests. Regional cuisine prepared by our skilled chefs is a highlight of visits to Little St. Simons Island, with three meals daily as well as soft drinks, beer and wine included in the nightly rate. Also included are boat transfers to and from island, island activities and use of recreation gear.

Best place to stay to relax
Love this place. Staff was so nice. Food was so good and the cabins were super cute. My view from my room was incredible. Just all around great place to relax and unwind. The nature tours were great.

Remarkable
We spent several days on island with old friends. Sharing a new experience always draws us more closely together, but this was an exceptional experience. We explored a new environment, met other interesting guests while hiking/dining together and also had time to relax and set the world aside for the time being. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food was varied and delicious. The environment was relaxed and informal, not in the slightest bit pretentious. We were particularly impressed by the staff of naturalists, who were informative, responsive and kind - and adaptable. We came at a time of year that worked for us, and I, for one, was particularly pleased the cooler temperatures meant insects were not active, and we didn't have to wear repellent or gear to fend them off. I feel very fortunate to have spent time in this preserve.

Calm and memorable family getaway
We stayed here as a family and really appreciated the quiet, nature-focused atmosphere. The island setting made it easy to slow down and spend quality time together. The outdoor activities and walks were enjoyable for both adults and kids, and the overall pace felt relaxed. Meals were shared and unpretentious, which worked well for a family stay. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. A good choice for families who enjoy nature and a peaceful environment rather than busy resorts.
