Our stay at Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort in Savusavu was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the level of hospitality and attention to detail was exceptional, and the entire experience felt incredibly personal and thoughtful. A huge highlight was Kitty, whose warmth, kindness, and genuine care made such an impression on us. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and looked after throughout our stay. Her hospitality really captured what makes this resort so special. The food was another standout. We loved having a farm-to-table, curated menu that rotated daily. Every meal felt intentional, fresh, and beautifully prepared rather than repetitive resort food. The included laundry service was also such an unexpected luxury and made the experience even more effortless. For families, the included nanny care is an incredible amenity as well. It is clear that the resort has thought through every detail to make guests feel completely taken care of. The spa experience was wonderful, especially our massage with Viri. She was fantastic and gave one of the best massages we had during the trip. It was exactly what we needed after a few days of excursions and activities. Speaking of excursions, the resort offers an incredible variety of ways to experience Fiji beyond the property. The excursions were a highlight of our stay, giving us the opportunity to explore the surrounding area and experience the natural beauty and culture of Vanua Levu. Everything felt well organized while still maintaining that sense of adventure and authenticity. What stood out most about Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort was that it never felt like a large, impersonal luxury resort. The staff genuinely get to know you, remember the little things, and make you feel like a guest rather than a room number. Between the incredible hospitality, thoughtful amenities, exceptional food, spa experience, and excursions, it was a truly special place to stay. We would absolutely love to return.

What a magical stay in JMC! Our room, one of the resort's recently renovated Signature Oceanfront Bures, was eco-luxury at its very best. Food was delicious, including the fijian-gourmet lovo feast. Carefully planned activities and their open air spa (Bobo and Bula Mai treatments !) further enhanced relaxation. The dive -shop was exceptional- highest attention to detail and professionalism ! Vinaka and looking forward to returning !

Amazing place, amazing rooms, the most helpful service I have ever seen in a hotel, exquisite food, a lot of activities to do for children and adults. Many thanks to Rennie at the kid's club who made this stay unforgettable for my youngest

Firstly the resort is outstanding!!! Thanks Kate from Fiji for Families for your recommendation. We are into our 7th day of our 10 day stay it has surpassed our expectations. Staff absolutely amazing … the food is incredible! ( Again the food is amazing) Great management. Our Bure is bliss !

The whole experience at JMC was incredible. All the staff were amazing but a special shout out to Kuki who took care of our kids and went above and beyond to ensure they had the best experience. We will definitely come back - a holiday the whole family loved!
