Reviews for Mii amo

Magical. Transformative. Superb.

This place is pure magic. Absolutely exquisite in every area. The food is extremely high quality and the menu is thoughtful and balanced. And there’s no bill coming so enjoy whatever you want without thinking about the price. That’s a really enjoyable offering. Room service at no charge?! Yes please sign me up! The massage therapists were absolutely top of the line. I enjoyed an 80 minute massage every day I was there and after the spa credits it’s very reasonable for the level of quality you get. The spa is first rate all around. The staff here is so good it’s almost overwhelming. They take such good care of the guests they should write the books on hospitality because they are the best. Every single person who works there knows your name. They speak to you kindly, they are attentive and genuinely care about their guests experience. You can’t teach that. They have clearly hired the best and most passionate team there is. I truly cannot say enough good things about this place. I was traveling solo, which made me nervous but the moment I booked the trip I got a phone call to answer all of my questions, help build my itinerary, schedule my trips to/from the airport. I never felt alone and I never felt overwhelmed. They made me feel so calm and welcome and taken care of. I have been all over the world and I rarely visit the same place twice but I anticipate coming back here every year. Don’t be worried about the price tag, it is well worth it. I have been raving to everyone. Book it right now you will not regret it!

Mii Amo is yet with me, though I've returned home.

Please, when you visit Mii Amo, it follows with you when you return home. This is what I might share. But if I might add something, it is the quiet. The sacred quiet and. And the fragence of the dessert, the rain. Even my husband who has little sense of smell was taken as he stepped into Mii Amo. And he could not pull himself away.

Must go. Go alone.

On the eve of my 44th birthday, a giant haboob (it’s a real thing, look it up) hit Phoenix, just in time for my drive north to Sedona. The drive was hazy, moody, dreamy. The playlist 🤌🏼. I wanted to unplug and be somewhere emotionally different. To be with myself and nature. I stayed at Mii Amo, which translates to “journey” or “to go on a journey” in Yavapai. I went into the mystic, y’all. If you want to know the nitty gritty details, just go see for yourself, but you have to be open and honest. What I will say is: My aura is deep blue, green, turquoise and yellow-green. I was encouraged to go anywhere I wanted to in my robe. So I did. Totally butt ass naked underneath my too long for me robe errrrrrwhere. Me and my haboobs and habooty just straight chillin. 10/10 recommend. I had lunch in a garden with Claire and her mother, Patricia. Go read or listen to Claire bear’s piece titled “But the Cyborg Pleads, Not Asks, This Time” —Magpie Zine ✨ My final day I’d planned a solo hike but ended up with a buddy. Her last name is Malice, but she’s the opposite. We started at 5:30am and watched the sun rise over Boynton Canyon. Two strangers having the most intimate conversation. We got off trail. I bled. We found our way. It was a profound, potent few days of conversations with myself and also with people I was meant to meet. People just like me - the ones who inherently go to the deepest depths. I feel like my wild little bit self again. My mom calls me Little Bit. The rest of my life is looking up and full of V A T A. Leave your light on, friends. High five if you made it to the end of this. Rawr
