Pros: Beautiful location, decent food, good spa services, Cons: Overall service was rough. Even though most of the staff were on the friendly side, they lacked polish and some of them just lacked basic customer service skills. Too many personal conversations going on among staff and busy drinking their coffee/smooties. -Check in : 3 ladies at desk, two of them were in full blown personal conversation and did not even acknowledge me. I had to go the third agent who was not involved in the conversation. -Room : bed/mattress was lopsided. at first you don't notice till you sleep on it and when you wake up, you notice the big dip to one side. -bathroom: dried up contact lens/hair by the trash can -hostess/lunch: went to make dinner reservations. there is no one at the counter. then she finally shows up. she was busy chit chatting with someone. Then she does not put our dinner reservations in properly. We go that evening and there is no reservations for us. -restaurant: especially at breakfast and lunch we get seated and we have to wait quite some time before someone offers a drink. -We had a 2 hour window where both my husband and I had activities booked and the room was going to be empty. I called front desk and ask for the room to be serviced during the window. She gave me attitude and said she's not sure it can be done but will let housekeeping know. No surprise when we came back to a unserviced room. Even at a Hyatt Place, this is not a big deal like she made it out to be.

Always the most amazing time to relax and reset. No place compares! This is my 5th Miraval trip and I love it more each time. The food is incredible, the spa offers unique services along with more traditional, and there are activities to suit anyone’s interest. One of the things I enjoy most is the fact that most practitioners have been there for 15+ years and are true masters of their individual training/ craft. There is never a bad or disappointing massage or spa service and the energy work is special. It’s even made a believer out of a septic like me!

Amazing experience at Miraval Tucson. Definitely want to go back and/or visit the other locations in Austin and the Berkshires. Experiences, spa, activities, staff, and food were all outstanding. A 4-night stay felt like a 10-day vacation.

Miraval Arizona is transformative. I find myself daydreaming about when I can go back. From the moment you arrive and are greeted with a warm towel, the superb service continued throughout our stay. The food is excellent and so nice to have a latte bar with ginger shots in the morning and delicious meals for lunch and dinner. My favorite spa service was the ginger healer. Loved cardio drumming and the barre class and Davinci Body boards. Wish I would have had 4 nights instead of 3. Arrive early and leave late. Go for morning hikes off property on your own.

Spent the last few days here with friends and colleagues. Cons/issues - Feels a bit corporate and spread out. Might be better suited for large groups. - Customer service was spotty in areas. I emailed them in advance regarding the experiences and spa services. I had to email several times to get a response. - If you make your reservations late, your options for services and experiences will be limited. -- Décor seems a bit outdated. I know they will upgrade the spa over the summer which is great news. Studios also need a polish. - Pool areas are not that enticing and can be crowded on warm days. - Facial was geared toward a product line. The spa personnel pushed the products hard at the end of the service. Pros - Stayed in a Retreat room which was stunning. However, a long walk from dining, spa and other activities. - Food was varied and delicious. Wait staff was very attentive. - Spa services including facial and massage were excellent. Overall, a nice visit. Would recommend.

Miraval is just wonderful!! It is truly a relaxing getaway that offers so much for everyone. You can push yourself to the limit with the ropes/challenge experience; yoga, pilates and other tough exercise classes; the equine experience; or just enjoy the spa with the most wonderful treatments. Loved every minute of it. The setting is serene, the staff couldn't be more helpful, and the spa treatments are truly beyond!!! Can't wait to go back!
