Girl Trip Winner

This was my first all inclusive trip and first spa trip. It will not be my last. After leaving my friend and I were already making a plot to bring our moms out with us next time. The spa was under construction when we went, but it didn't often effect the chill and relaxing vibes. The temporary spa they have set up works fine and I have no complaints. Also everyone is legitimately so nice. Like I couldn't believe that it was a no tip place. Everyone really does try to make sure you have a good day. The rooms are nice, but their not really what I think the money is going towards. The bathrooms everywhere are super clean though! I would highly suggest taking as many classes as you think you will enjoy. Happy Hips, Line Dancing, Shoulders set free, and Belly Dancing are all workouts I would do again in a heartbeat. You also need to take the Artful Photography class that Nancy does! She does a couple of photography classes and I would recommend all of them! Ask the Farmer was another great experience! I don't have a green thumb, but I feel like I might be able to keep my plants alive longer than a month now. For the spa I highly recommend the Brahmam Charan, it our favorite between all the ones we tried. Although some people complained about the food, I really enjoyed it. I wasn't weighing up how good something was worth the price. If you don't like something, get something else. The Cactus Flower always had good options in the buffet if nothing on the menu caught your eye for breakfast and dinner (but always check in on the chief specials). You can book dinner times in advance and get more than one option to try....for sharing of course. ;)

Very nice

I very much enjoyed my 2 night stay here. The grounds are beautiful and serene. The spa facilities are top notch - ambience, massage therapists, etc. - and I liked that you could come and go all day. All inclusive was great, they even have a bar/cafe you can get food and drinks all day, very thoughtful. The staff were very nice. It’s true that the rooms are more basic than other luxury places (especially at this price point) but I think it’s part of the mindfulness vibe and I did not feel like I was lacking at all. Speaking of which, I very much appreciated the “no phone” in public areas, though they do have designated spaces for it. I personally didn’t go so much for some of the mindfulness/intentionality stuff (like sitting around before/after activities discussing why we’re doing them) but I get that it’s part of the package. I wish the pools were a little warmer - I recall them feeling cold, they need to be better heated once the heat of the summer wears off. I’m looking forward to returning!

Once in a lifetime (hopefully more) experience

Absolutely unbelievable experience. A+ all the way. First and most importantly we want to recognize the above and beyond exceptional staff…. I could name so very many people - almost everyone in fact! But several of the team members truly elevated our trip and made it extraordinary that I would like to call out: Rae Jessie – Rae Jessie is a bright light. She made new experiences accessible and inspiring, and her presence uplifted everyone around her. As only one example, her Astral Projection session took us places we never thought we could go. Noel Patterson – His passion for honey and wine was contagious. He made us feel smart and engaged, and his warmth extended beyond the sessions, as he always stopped to ask how we were doing. Richard Noel – His drum circle under the stars was one of the most freeing and beautiful experiences of our trip. His positivity and energy radiated well beyond the session. Nancy Schroeder – Nancy was, for me, a highlight of the resort experiences. She is authentic, funny, and deeply knowledgeable. She opened my eyes to seeing the world differently through photography - but most of all she was a wonderful person. Daniela (Experience Consultant) – Always approachable and smiling, Daniela provided information without pressure and made us feel like we had known her forever. Her sparkly glasses matched her sparkly personality. Faith (Bar Server) – Even on a night when the kitchen was slow, Faith kept the mood light, acknowledged the delays, and ensured we still felt cared for. Leysa (Palm Court Café - I might have the name wrong) – While working with another customer she overheard me asking for sparkling water to add to my drink. I was told it was not available. But nonetheless she was quick to notice, ran to the bar, and was back with a cup of sparkling water. A small gesture made a big impression. Renee (Cactus Flower Restaurant) – Exceptionally kind and attentive; she stood out for her warmth. Other highlights included the bedding (a dream), the gorgeous pools, the delicious food, the immaculate landscaping (we even noticed your team carefully raking the gravel), the incredible spa (even if it was a temporary location) and the beautiful gift shop. These details truly enhanced our stay.

The whole experience from welcoming us in the parking lot, to check in, through all of the activities and spa treatments, meals and snacks, and delivering our luggage to our car were all top notch. The whole staff was very friendly and helpful.

Miraval is just wonderful!! It is truly a relaxing getaway that offers so much for everyone. You can push yourself to the limit with the ropes/challenge experience; yoga, pilates and other tough exercise classes; the equine experience; or just enjoy the spa with the most wonderful treatments. Loved every minute of it. The setting is serene, the staff couldn't be more helpful, and the spa treatments are truly beyond!!! Can't wait to go back!
