Meditation Vibes in the Desert

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 9 hours ago

We did a girls weekend at the resort and it was good overall but some experiences were better than others. Sign up for the Just Cook for me Class which pairs 5 course with wine. It was the best. Quality chef prepared food in front of you and it was held in private room in the restaurant. All of the fees include access to all the restaurants except for private events. The quality was food but they close at 9pm so pack up to- go plates for late night nibbles. Wine area with a good selection of wines available for purchase they even had Opus One wine at $1000 (huge markup). Rooms were decent. King size and balcony overlooking a walkway. Nothing too spectacular. Wellness center, Yoga, GYM, ropes course, 2 pools, spa and horse area. One of the activities to SKIP is the Horoscope Happy Hour activity which was $125 per person. Not worth it at all included only 1 glass of wine and no personalized horoscope readings. I wish all of the activities were included for free so disappointing that you had to pay for majority of the events. And if you didn’t show up - charged $45 even for the free events. Resort is 1 hour away from the Tuscon airport but they offer free shuttle. If you drive, they charge you a fee for parking onsite.

Another outstanding stay at Miraval

Miraval is a very special property that continues to impress me even after my third visit. The staff are sincere, the activities are unique and engaging, the instructors are skilled and happy to be there, the facilities are clean and well maintained. If you're looking for a place to switch off your electronic devices and be present while enjoying quality food, excellent sessions, and a beautiful environment, look no further than Miraval. Can't wait for my 4th visit soon!

As a repeat visitor to Miraval, I can say each stay feels better than the last. Amazing activities and accommodations, plus an incredible staff. Everyone offers a smile or a kind word. Denise specially always makes sure everyone feels seen and she goes out of her way to be of service to guests. Thank you Denise, I can’t wait for my next stay!

Magical Miraval in the Arizona Desert

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

My sister and I had a wonderful time working out, relaxing, and pampering ourselves. The place is magical. We knew the spa was undergoing renovations, but was a little surprised to hear jackhammers going during the day. It was a bit of a buzz-kill, but you could find lots of places to go where you couldn't hear it. Unfortunately, the temporary spa was close enough to hear it faintly. But it was still a very relaxing experience. The place is expensive, but the amount of activities that are included, plus all the meals and snacks makes it worth the indulgence.

I took my husband for a special treat for his birthday because he seeks health in life. Miraval was a perfect choice and he loved every minute of his time there.

Miraval is just wonderful!! It is truly a relaxing getaway that offers so much for everyone. You can push yourself to the limit with the ropes/challenge experience; yoga, pilates and other tough exercise classes; the equine experience; or just enjoy the spa with the most wonderful treatments. Loved every minute of it. The setting is serene, the staff couldn't be more helpful, and the spa treatments are truly beyond!!! Can't wait to go back!
