Went here as family of four: two adults, two 18+ kids. Whole intention was to chill, so no day-trips. Check-in process was terrible but they fixed it in the end. I don't need to go into all the details, rather I'll just say this: If your res includes more than one room and only one is ready when you arrive, be sure that they tell you the room numbers of the other room(s), so ensure that those rooms are actually pulled out of inventory and assigned to you. The restaurants were great and only once did we have to wait a bit for a table, and even then it was only about 15 minutes. The buffet leaves a lot to be desired, tbh. We usually stay at the Riu chain when in the Caribbean and their buffet game is top-nothch, so we were disappointed with what we got here. Selections limited, and it often took a loooong time for food to be replenished. The staff was amazing. We had an issue where we had to switch rooms and our son left his AirPod Pros in the original room, and we actually got them back. I'm so used to never getting a lost item back in a hotel! Every interaction we had, from bartenders to spa, was super friendly.

Dreams Tulum was everything we needed, and we didn't even know. Our family travelled to Tulum for the first time, and we truly enjoyed the resort amenities, like the all inclusive dining, beach and pool access, nightlife, snacks, etc.

The resort was very clean and beautiful accommodations. The landscaping was beautiful. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful. I did participate in a sales tour to receive a delicous dinner and it was worth it. The only complaint was the tour was said to be 90 min and it took over 2 hours.
