Zoetry Curcao was clean, well kept, and the rooms were large. I liked the fact that the staff were all friendly and cordial, and helpful. Some of the staff went above and beyond to assist my sister and I. Some people have given negative reviews about the staff being rude and unfriendly, which is not even indicative of the culture of Curcao. The people on the island are known to be friendly. I am wondering if some of these negative views are from Americans, who may have internalized racial biases. It is not in their culture to smile all the time. The fact that someone is not always smiling, does not make them rude. Also, another thing I liked about Zoetry was the tranquility of the resort. I believe that this location is good for couples, or possibly even solo travelers. There were also some activities at Zoetry, but many of the guests did not want to participate in the zumba, and yoga classes. I did, and Livy was a wonderful activity director, and very engaging. The food is to be expected. It is an all-inclusive resort, and you will not get gormet food. Some of the people in other reviews that complained about the food, don't even season their own food at home! At an all inclusive resort, just know that you may not like all of the food, and you may get tired of the resort food. You can go off of the resort for a meal or two. Another thing that I liked was that Zoetry guests were able to use the facilities at the Dream and Mare resorts across the street. We ate at the Italian restaurant one night, and the food was ok. The only area for improvement that I could think of was the fact that the water in the shower was lukewarm. However, this is something that I have noticed in other Caribbean countries as well. I personally like taking hot showers, no matter the weather. In my own Caribbean country, the showers often have cold or lukewarm water. Again, it is not a Zoetry thing. Also, some employees who were refilling the wet bar, came into the room without knocking or announcing their presence. This was a younger employee, so maybe they need to be trained about entering guest's rooms. Zoetry Curcao is definitely a place to book, if you are looking for a calm, serene, vacation. There were a few children on the resort, but the children's pool and activities were mainly across the street at Dream. Also, the golf cart was working when we were there. They usually have a golf cart that shuttles you across the street to the other resorts. Some reviewers stated that the golf cart was not working. In the event that this happens, it is about a five minute walk to the other resort, as it is directly across the street.

Overall the experience was good. Nice quaint resort with access to Dreams for additional options. Everyone was nice. Special mention to front desk staff Lilly, and bar tenders Latoya and Jason. Room were nice size and cleaned daily. Had an issue with steamer and mildew smell and they immediately responded to them. Did not totally get smell out but tried and came immediately. My only true complaint is the variation in the menu. The Bloom restaurant was the least favorite with slower service and food was not that great. However, the poolside grill was great for lunch. Food wad good, but again would like to have seen some variations. Also a note, beware of shower setup. Privacy is not there if you are traveling with someone or family that may require a little more privacy.

My wife and I stayed one week here for our honeymoon. The experience was phenomenal and deserves all 5 stars. First, the service was exceptional. Everyone we met was very friendly and helpful with our questions. The front desk consistently went above and beyond their call of duty to make our vacation delightful. From fetching us water bottles before we left for an excursion to driving us to the beach on a golf cart, there was seemingly nothing the front desk wouldn’t do for their visitors. The restaurants and bars here are some of my favorite places I’ve ever been. Fernando, a manager of food and drinks, is a top class leader. You’ll often see him assisting the bartenders and waiters while making sure every guest is attended to. The Flora bar specifically was a favorite spot of mine. The bartender Gaison (Jason) is as skilled as he is delightful. Not only is he a wizard at cocktails, but a fun and entertaining man. My wife and I enjoyed his service so much, we began calling the bar “Jason’s” since he was such a principal component of our fun. If you’re looking for a place to celebrate your honeymoon, I could not recommend this location more. They have a complimentary honeymoon package that is free of charge, if you meet the requirements. The package includes many wonderful experiences including, but not limited to, a couples massage, breakfast in bed, and a private, romantic dinner for two. The private dinner sticks out specifically which brings me to one of my favorite people I met, Willem the head chef. Not only is he a master of his craft, but also a wonderful person. He created a personalized dinner for my wife and I which was not only delicious, but also catered to our requests. One of my favorite memories was having a drink with him at the bar on his day off. Our waitress for our private dinner, Elyjah, was exceptional and friendly also. I highly recommend anyone honeymooning to look into their specialized package as it made our week here memorable. Any sour reviews do not represent our experience in the slightest. The Zoetry is quieter than Dreams, but I believe you get the best of both worlds. You will be a short golf cart ride away from Dreams (which includes a beach and more restaurants) but always have a quiet home to come back and unwind with a night cap. After just a few days here, you’ll walk the paths and see many friendly and familiar faces who will greet you by name and ask how a recent excursion or experience was. They go above and beyond to make you feel at home.

I would not recommend Zoetry resort at all. Our room was full of gnats when we arrived and it was brought to the attention of 3 staff members and nothing was done. Also the food was not palatable at all. We ended up going next door to Dreams to eat most of the time. For the cost of this resort I would have expected way better service.
