Zoetry Curacao Resort & Spa

Property was average; food was not up to expecations. Several staff members were exceptional, including Domenick, Shelley, and Giuliana.

While the employees were wonderful, the food was horrible. This is not an all inclusive resort as you have to travel to Dreams across the road by golf cart to have anything different than the same breakfast and dinner menu for your entire stay. Also pack your industrial strength bugspray as there were so many mosquitoes by the pool and in the lobby. Regular bug spray didn't cut it.

This was our 15th Wedding Anniversary, and it was disappointing compared to the Secrets and Breathless Resorts I have visited. Upon Arrival, there was no welcome drink, cool towels, or any recognition of our anniversary. The staff didn't even offer water. They told me that I could find everything that I needed on the app. Unfortunately, there were also technical issues with the app. We booked a pool-view room, and they placed us in a room with a view of the bushes. We visited the pool restaurant around 2, and the service was extremely slow, and the staff members seemed tired and unpleasant. They were slow to acknowledge you when they were running behind. This tended to be the theme for the entire stay. The staff was very inattentive, and the service was extremely slow. At times, they wouldn't bring you your non alcoholic drink order, and wouldn't address why they didn't bring it. There was a sister hotel, Dreams, that was filthy. There was literally trash all over the small beach and outdoor restaurant. The silver lining was that the hotel next to Dreams had a nicer bar with better service. In addition, the golf cart drivers were always extremely friendly. That said, the golf cart was inoperable one evening, so we had to walk back to our room. Warning: Do not attend a sales presentation; they will claim to offer a spa service, but once you agree, the services are very limited. We were fortunately able to back out within 5 minutes of the presentation.

My wife picked this resort for our 25th anniversary trip, Before leaving, we read some reviews and were a touch worried due to the amount of service complaints. I honestly believe most people just like to complain. We have traveled the world, and this was our best resort experience yet. We are already planning our trip back for next year! The service was amazing, the food was fantastic, and the quiet, romantic atmosphere was perfect. Most days there were way less than 20 people at the pool, so it feels like you have the resort to yourself. Then, when you want some interaction, or a bit more party atmosphere, you can take the 2 minute golf cart ride to one of the sister resorts, Dreams or Il Mare. Do yourself a favor and get to know Jason, the wine educator and bartender, first day. He was amazing and gave us perfect tips for eating downtown. We were there for the Curacao World Cup run, and the experience was incredible. Everyone on the island was soo excited! 100% recommend!

We spend time at zoetry for our Anniversary And i can say that it was well enjoyed The food was pretty average but enjoyable the room were clean we have no complaints A shout out to the bartender latoya and the amazing gentleman from the ENT team Rayion they made our trip more enjoyable
