Overall Experience The resort appeared understaffed during our stay, and many staff members seemed distracted. While a few individuals in the wait staff, bartending team, and front office helped salvage parts of the experience, overall service fell far short of what a 5-star resort should deliver. In practice, it felt barely 3-star. Staffing and Service Consistency Staff appeared to rotate between Zoëtry and Dreams, and the guest experience often felt like it was operating at the lowest level possible. Food Safety and Hygiene Observations I observed that only one pool-area bartender wore food preparation gloves. Otherwise, I did not see staff washing hands when handling food or ingredients, or when returning to bar/food preparation stations. Food Quality Food quality improved during the last two days of our stay, but overall it was mostly bland. Seafood was frequently overcooked, and an “old grease” taste overpowered many dishes. Room Service Issues Room service regularly took up to two hours or longer. On one occasion, the order was simply forgotten. Activities and Events Several scheduled events did not occur—there was no explanation and no sign-up process. We were particularly disappointed to miss the tea service, which never took place. Christmas Dinner at Dreams The Christmas dinner held at Dreams for all guests was a major disappointment: lots of food, but a disappointing venue, mediocre quality, and overall a waste of money and effort. Coordination and Management Visibility We only noticed an event coordinator for the first time two days before our departure, which reinforced the impression of poor organization and staffing. Property and Room The property itself is beautiful, and our room was fantastic. Unfortunately, nearly everything else was a massive disappointment.

I was very disappointed in my stay at this hotel especially as a travel advisor myself. The attention to detail from the staff at the resort was extremely poor. I never received any of my amenities that was told I would received with my booking (my beach bag, mini blue curacao liqueur, 20 min spa treatment), even when I went to the front desk to ask for it and book it. The staff were unable to tell me the time of my transfer back to the airport the day before and told me to come back in the morning. My minibar was never restocked during my stay and many of the staff did not understand english when I was asking specific requests related to food dishes and food requests. The only best thing about the stay was my room. It was spacious. The food was disappointing in both restaurants on the resort as there was no local food to choose from. The sister resort Dreams - on the adult only side (Il Mare), this had better service than Zoetry. However the beach was very small and it was hard to find a beach chair. I will not recommend this resort to any of my travel clients and I will not return back to the resort.

Our room is very spacious and clean. The staff are polite and respectful, grounds staff too. It's a lovely quiet get away, bring mosquito spray. Bar staff are great. Food is ok. Have nothing to complain about.

Disappointed with the restaurants meals, very limited options and same meals every day. Shame we had to ask for water everyday for the mini bar. Daily housekeeping was spot on. The use of Dreams resort across the road was very good as part of stay at Zoetry and transported via golf carts.

One of the worst lodging experiences we have ever had. We encountered several inconveniences that should never be acceptable at this level of accommodation. - Disorganized check-in: there is no defined check-in time. We had to wait until 4:20 p.m. to be assigned a room, which was different from the one we had reserved. Even after explaining the situation to the Concierge, our request was not honored, and we were told to complain directly to the booking operator (Booking). - Room issues: the complimentary liqueur was missing, the sparkling wine was placed in a bucket with water, the minibar was not stocked, and the sparkling wine was never replenished. - Restaurant disappointment: ordinary dishes that could never be called “international cuisine.” The bread served as a starter was hamburger bread. Basic service errors occurred, such as serving the main course before the appetizer, no replenishment of drinks, and staff lacking proper training. - Lack of hospitality: upon arrival, no one helped us with our luggage. Most attendants showed little courtesy, as if they were doing guests a favor. - Limited resort experience: there were no activities or entertainment options that would justify calling this place a resort. On the positive side, the room itself was comfortable, even though the air conditioning did not cool very well. The price charged does not match the experience delivered, which was worse than that of budget hotels. The only thing that saved our stay was the possibility of accessing the Dreams Hotel next door, located right in front of the beach. Conclusion: for those who are demanding and value a truly differentiated experience, avoid this hotel. It is not worth the money, and it fails to deliver what it promises.
