With a flawless design and a spectacular setting, Alila Villas Uluwatu marries Balinese culture with modern design. Perched atop a magnificent plateau abutting limestone cliffs, the ocean below bellows with the sound of crashing waves and creates a melodic echo with every crest. There are 84 sustainably-designed villas concealing interiors that are contemporary and uncluttered, with overtones of traditional Balinese textures including rattan and stone. The multi-room villas, each with its own pool, radiate with luxury and boast such appointments as private bars, outdoor dining nooks, private cabanas, and stylish baths with both indoor and outdoor showers. There is also 24-hour butler service, which adds an effortless element to your stay.

Outstanding. 10/10 stars. This is one of the most phenomenal experiences anywhere. The staff in every area are outstanding. The experiences in the resort were stellar and the excursions they organized made memories for a lifetime. Be sure to do the Journey to Enlightenment—life changing! And ask them arrange for a trip to Padang Padang Beach (of Eat, Pray, Love fame). Aerial Yoga in the Sunset Cabana was a true -wow! The villas are gorgeous and the pool experience is unforgettable--calm, beautiful, stellar service—you won't want to leave.

We had the best time at Alila and can’t wait for next visit. From the ambience to food, everything was incredible! I also loved the car drop off and pick up to and from Savaya! Made it super easy to get there and be picked up from after a fun night out! 100% recommend staying here!

This resort is absolutely stunning. The views are incredible. The service is top-notch. The food is five star. The rooms are so clean and nice. Every room has a private plunge pool which was key. The staff was just so accommodating

Alila Villas may just be the best resort we have ever been to (and we have been to many luxury resorts all over the world). The resort is very spacious and beautifully designed - modern contemporary combined with authentic Balinese. There were plenty of staff and the service was exceptional across the resort’s restaurants, bar, sommelier, concierge, housekeeping and butler. The food at the resort (breakfast, lunch, dinner and room service) was delicious and varied. My partner had his best meal ever at the Balinese restaurant! The resort is quite centrally located - town is a cab right away. Vincent and Victoria were excellent managers and went above and beyond to make our stay special and peaceful. The two villas we stayed at were gorgeous, particularly the second one on the cliff edge. We highly recommend and would love to come back.

We had a wonderful stay at Alila Villas Uluwatu! Overall magical view, friendly and professional staff, spacious room. We enjoyed walked around the property, played in the private pool (although it was still a bit cold in July as not heated!). Breakfast at CIRE was great! Though we needed to pay for breakfast (not globalist anymore), they waived for our kids and the quality was 5 stars. Dinner at The Warung had friendly staff, good presentation, delicious and interesting mocktails. Personally I think the food was a bit too pricy and salty for the Indonesia fried rice, and beef tongue stew compared to what we have experienced in rest of the Bali so unfortunately not my favorite. Other than that, we love this place!

“The Alila Uluwatu is a truly gorgeous property with breathtaking views. It was the perfect end to our honeymoon. I strongly recommend the hotel for a private getaway for couples although there were some families present at the time we were there. Definitely a very pricey hotel. The saying ""if you have to ask then you probably can't afford it"" I think fits well. However with views and luxury behind them I figure one shouldn't complain. Really miss waking up to seeing my private pool, cabana and the blue skies and seas of the Indian ocean sprawled out before me. Service couldn't be flawed either. Smiles everywhere accompanied by genuine interest to make sure all was well with meals, spa, rooms etc."
