A hotel I would fly 22 hours to return to
The Damai is boho chic at its finest. Another description could be shabby chic. It has an almost 20-year patina that is sublime. Everything is analog except my IPhone. The only plastic was a water bottle and the light switches. The gardens lush, the water cool and the paths on this 3 acre hotel/estate are magical. The villas have the comfort, privacy and elegance you would get at Amandari but at a third the cost. But it was the service - be it the hotel or spa - that simply does not exist in the West. In 50 years of travel, I have never experienced such friendly, graceful personal service. That service is backed by the best food I had on the island, and an intimate spa that delivered where most spas disappoint. This is the kind of private get away I would fly 22-hours to return to.

Peaceful, romantic, and unforgettable stay in North Bali 🌴✨
We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Lovina. The atmosphere is peaceful, relaxed, and completely different from the busier parts of Bali, which made it perfect for a quiet getaway. Our hotel experience at The Damai was exceptional, with beautiful surroundings, amazing service, fantastic food, and a very spacious private villa that exceeded all expectations. The dolphin watching was a highlight of the trip, and there are enough great restaurants and activities nearby to keep things interesting while still maintaining the calm and laidback Lovina vibe. If you are looking for sunsets, nature, relaxation, and a more authentic side of Bali, Lovina is definitely worth visiting.

The best service ever!
We spend 3 nights in this hotel and we loved every minute of it. The hotel is located a bit outside of Lovina in a beautiful garden with a lovely infinity pool. We had the garden villa which is Nocelle decoratief, spacious and clean. The wifi is extremely good. But the best thing about the Damai is their service. The really all do everything to make your stay unforgettable. Everybody knows your name the moment you enter the hotel. I especially want to thank Feby who arranged a taxi for the next morning and a trip to the waterfals even before we had seen our room. And every day after that she took care of us even before we could think of it.

A true paradise in the north of Bali
An absolute beautiful place to stay. Our villa was wonderfully designed and the tranquility of the place was heartwarming. Great food and very friendly staff. Highly recommended
