This stunning estate is hidden away on Bali's exclusive southern peninsula, poised on a ridge at Jimbaran Bay, otherwise known as the island's "Golden Mile." This was our second stay at Gending Kedis this year. It provides a tranquil tropical escape from the hussle and bussle after a long day of touring. The staff go out of their way to accommodate you and are so friendly and kind. Gia, Ako, Edo ,Katrini and all the other staff left us feeling sad leaving the establishment and looking forward to going back.

After a few years of travel absence from Bali, my friends and I were fortunate to be able to revisit and stay at my favourite resort in Jimbaran, the Gending Kedis Villas. The welcome was just as wonderful as on previous visits.. from the driver of the complimentary airport transfer, to the reception and other service staff. Our villa was as usual, spacious, clean, well appointed and a nice sized pool with privacy.. always a bonus ! Jimbaran Bay Beach is close by and not too long a downhill walk. A free shuttle is available for the return for the less energetic. Also, for golf enthusiasts, as we are, the beautiful New Kuta Golf course is a comfortable drive from the resort As are shops.. and restaurants for those who like to dine out. Though the restaurant at Gending Kedis has a fine selection of food and wine on its menu. It was great to be back and I highly recommend it for anyone contemplating a visit to Bali

Very fortunate to be able to revisit this lovely Villa after being away for many years. The service was first class and the staff were their usual efficient and friendly selves. Facilities were immaculate which was not surprising as the attention to detail is amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again soon.

Beautiful resort, staff were amazing. Only 30 minutes from the lively Uluwatu. Unfortunately I can’t say the room we stayed in was great. The resort felt very dated, our villa was definitely looking tired; stained windows, wooden frames falling off doors, AC units looked decades old, there was a DVD player in the room, the wooden flooring was collapsed in most rooms, the wooden decking on the patio was also collapsing and the paint was peeling off. The interior walls were all marked and showed signs of leaks etc…the shower flooded twice even when it was fixed. The kitchen units were coming away from the ceiling. This was our villa, it could be a one off but walking around the resort you could see the same, a very worn resort. Breakfast was included but was boring after 2 mornings so we opted to find alternative options outside. Overall, good value for money but the room definitely needs updating.

We stayed here for 7 nights in the 4 bedroom Jalak Bali Villa for my family of 5. The villa is absolutely beautiful with plenty of space, clea, very comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms, privacy and the two pools were beautiful. Our villa and rooms were cleaned every day with a team of 3/4 people. The staff are absolutely amazing. They made us feel so welcome and really couldn’t do enough for us. They arranged taxis, arranged drivers for our day trips. They were very helpful. Breakfast is lovely and delicious and there pizza were really good too. I would highly recommend this place and would come back again.

Arriving at Gending Kedis, a short 10 minutes from the Ngurah Rai International Airport, was literally stepping into a hidden sanctuary. Considerate touches found all over the villa - they are warm and inviting and all the common areas and walkways blend seamlessly into the landscaped grounds and natural terrain. The warmth and hospitality shown will ultimately be the reason why more and more visitors will become return visitors and friends of Gending Kedis.
