Absolute paradise in the Indian Ocean. If you’re looking for somewhere quirky to visit where your friends won’t have been, choose Azura, Mozambique. The people and staff are super friendly, accommodating and welcoming. The place is a gem In the middle of the beautiful Indian Ocean with white sands and clear seas. The villas are the perfect place to hang out with the option to head to a bar to see other people available There’s a great choice of activities and foods given the remote location. This is a 10/10 for me, my husband and 12 year old daughter.

One of the most wonderful places on earth
We had a fantastic time at Azura Benguerra and couldn't have asked for a better trip. It delivers everything you want from an island getaway without feeling stiff or overly formal. Location: Right on a gorgeous stretch of white-sand beach with calm, clear water. Step right off the deck into the sand and straight into the ocean. Atmosphere: Very relaxed and grounded. You can easily spend your entire day barefoot. It feels private, peaceful, and unpretentious. Rooms: The villas are spacious, comfortable, and well-designed with local touches. The private plunge pool and daybeds outside were where we spent most of our downtime. Service: Incredibly warm and attentive. Having a dedicated host (mordomo) makes life very easy—they take care of daily plans, dinner setups, and excursions seamlessly, and always with a friendly smile. Cleanliness: Spotless. The room and outdoor areas were cleaned thoroughly every day, and housekeeping was quick and discreet. Noise level: Extremely quiet. All you hear is the ocean breeze, the waves, and birds. Zero traffic, zero crowds. Amenities: Great setups for water activities—snorkeling, diving, and boat trips are easily organized right from the property. The food was fresh, local, and delicious throughout. Value: It is an investment, but the level of personal care, great food, and pristine location made it completely worth it for us.

Amazing Resort and Staff
Beautiful luxury boutique resort with exceptional service and staff. Lots of activities for those interested in filling their days, also perfect for relaxing in a private cabana and enjoying the sunshine, beach and private villas.

We had a wonderful stay at Azura! The attention to detail and care they put in everything made our stay magic. We were spoiled every second of our stay. The hotel is beautiful and the food delicious. Would recommend 100%

Absolutley Fantastic
My daughter and I recently visited to get her Scuba certification and for me to have a much needed break. What transpired the most amazing life experience. I am so very greatful Sara, Denny, Caltio, Carlos and Chinga for personal attention and knowing our needs before we new them. All round as someone who has travelled extensively Azura exceeded my expectations for a location and lodge that looks better in person than the brochure. We will be back !!!
