Azura, Benguerra Island ... A Cut Above The Rest!!! Upon our arrival we were heartily welcomed and for the duration of our 12x day stay, we only received the best attention, with absolute 5x star treatment. The accommodation, the staff, the food, the sunset cocktails, the attention to detail, the beach = THE BEST!!! We cannot wait to return to PARADISE, Azura Benguerra Island!

Absolute paradise - exceeding our expectations. After 10 days of safari and Adventure this was the perfect end to our African trip. Lots to do, or perfect relaxation - depending on your choice. Either way you recharge your batteries. The staff are 2nd to none. From our wonderful butler Hassan, who was always there with a sunset cocktail, and to make sure we had a dream trip. To Carlos who was a fantastic guide for our island tour and boat island hopping. Sara the Marine Biologist shared her passion for protecting the already near pristine environment. And the rest of the team who always chatted at meal times, and bent over backwards to make sure our stay was memorable. Food was amazing and the beach dinners a wonderful touch. Azura Benguerra is perfect for couples wanting a complete relax in a stunning environment. We hope to be back

We went to Azura after 2 weeks in Cape Town and on safari. It was the perfect place to relax after a very exciting, busy and exhausting trip. We had a great experience at the resort but did feel that the price was not justified. We have stayed at some amazing, gorgeous, 5 star resorts that were probably half the price and worth every penny. Azura had a bit more of a rustic 5 star quality to it vs a high end, luxury 5 star resort. Given that this was so expensive and all inclusive, we were very surprised to learn that not all alcohol was included. There were only 2 choices each of red, white and rose wine included. They were not great quality. And only generic liquor was included. For example, Campari and Amarula were not included. Overall, we loved our stay at Azura. The staff was so attentive and helpful. Our host, Julio, was fantastic. The resort is very private. The only time we saw other guests was during meals. We enjoyed our private pool and private cabana by the beach. it would have been great if the pool was heated. The water was too cold to really utilize it. Each room also has a great outdoor shower that we used every day. The food was also very good. I recommend Azura as long as you know going in that the value is not necessarily in line with what you are getting. It is a great place for a couple that really wants to get away for pure relaxation and not much more.

The experience we had at Azura was fantastic. Hard to imagine better service, friendlier people and wonderful setting. The snorkeling trip was great, an amazing two mile reef filled with life. Kids did two dives and enjoyed the dives. Its really a romantic place for couples and if I go again it will be the two of us. Drinks abound, food was very good and the seafood grill at our table was great. Last nights private dinner on the beach was just excellent.

A wonderful stay to round out a wonderful trip! Had a 10/10 experience at Azua Benguerra Island. The service and food were the highlights of the stay. Carlos and Denny were so attentive and kind and truly made our experience an unforgettable one. While there, we also went dugong spotting, spent time at the spa and enjoyed the paddleboards during the days. At night, we were able to enjoy a sunset boat cruise and star gazing, during which Dawson taught us so much. May was the perfect time to go as the weather was warm and the sun was strong but not overwhelming. Highly recommend!
