Special place for a honeymoon.
We had a phenomenal honeymoon at Azura. Thank you to our host Agostino for your service and care. We stayed 5 nights and it was pure luxury. We were greeted by staff as we landed from the helicopter. Our bags taken to our rooms while management showed us around. Incredible sunny welcome with high tide so the water was very inviting. Our villa was perfect. Every morning we’d open up all the sliding doors to hear the ocean. We loved the outdoor shower and was impressed by housekeeping (Moises) who did our stay over and turn over each day with mopping floors everyday and always a beautiful gift or surprise on the bed. We were there over Easter too so the resort had eggs all over the place! Such lovely touches along with little gifts in the room. Highly recommend Azura for honeymoon as they do go the extra mile to make it special for couples. We found the food to be excellent. Variety and quality was exceptional. I liked the smaller portions as most meals were at least 3 courses. Lots of fresh seafood which is a spoil. We did couples massage, snorkelling, scuba, dhow cruise, island drive, and paddle boarding activities - all highly recommend. We saw turtles, dolphins, every beautiful fish you could imagine! We never got bored but I do think you need to be a pure beach person for a holiday like this. It’s a lovely remote island that blends in with nature and local community, not change it into something it isn’t. I saw other guests with teens and young kids and they were having a great time just playing with kayaks and in the sand. They didn’t need much more. It’s a place to slow down and enjoy the moment. My only note would be the staff use WhatsApp Groups to communicate with you before and during your stay, no landline phone in the room. It’s efficient and unique and highly personalised (they send you morning hellos with weather of the day, exclusive discounts on the spa for the day only, fun day of activities like candle making, you can ask any questions to the whole management team) but if you’re wanting to go unplugged like I was, you miss key messages like this avoiding your phone. Not the end of the world. WiFi works everywhere at resort except if you move far away from buildings (eg WiFi was weak if I laid right on the ocean edge). We barely wore shoes the whole trip as we walked along beach to and from reception to villa so don’t feel you need to pack too much! We adored the private villa dinner too… again such a spoil! I can’t recommend Azura enough. Really wish we didn’t have to leave. Other guests we met on helicopter had stayed many times and highly recommended Azura Marlin so we’ll have to come back for that!

Holiday in Paradise
What an amazing experience! From the moment you arrive, you get such a warm welcome. The chalets are rustic but super stylish, with an awesome view over the bright blue sea. The food isn’t just tasty—it looks incredible too. Everyone really makes an effort to take care of you and make you feel at home. If you’re looking for a place to unwind and get away from all the daily stress, Azura is definitely the spot.

We had an amazing experience at Azura from the first day until the last very day. The island is simply magic. Time stops here and you can really reconnect with the nature while one get absolutely spoiled by the outstanding stuff. Each of them make a massive difference suiting your stay. Paradise!
From the welcome to the farewell, we were treated like VIPS. My husband and I wrapped up our S. Africa trip in at Azura and what an amazing way to end our trip. The food is fabulous and our day at Peri Peru Beach was a local feast. Do not miss Peri Peri! Augi took great care of us and made my birthday special! We had private happy hours and a farewell dinner that were romantic! It was like being on a 2nd honeymoon. There are tour options and things to do or just enjoy your privacy with your plunge pool. Do not miss the island tour and see how the locals live. You can bring donations to the local school. Enjoy this gem!
