Ana Mandara Villas Dalat Resort & Spa

On paper this hotel should be amazing, it’s very well designed and the villa room i was in was easily the most spacious hotel room Ive ever been to, but the maintenance/service completely ruined the experience We were told after we booked the hotel that the pool would be closed for maintenance for the entire duration of our stay. We booked two rooms and when we arrived there was a Pineapple left over in one of the rooms from previous guests. the room stuck of rotten fruit, we literally couldn’t breathe in that room. In the second room the electricity didn’t work. Even when they fixed the electricity the phone didn’t work at all. Because of the rotten smell that spread at this point to both rooms (that were next to each other) we moved (demand to move, not offered) to 2 different rooms in a different villa. The mold smell in the new villa was overwhelming, the only reason we stayed was because at this point we were there over an hour, tired after not sleeping because of a night flight. But even sleep wasn’t good, the beds were very very VERY seasoned. The mattress had to give, i immediately sunk into it to the point where i put a pillow under the stomach to be able to lie down without back pain. At breakfast there were flies all over the food, the staff didn’t even try to get rid of them. Even the hotel’s restaurant, the food felt like frozen food they warmed up and the staff was unprofessional. The waitress spilled our drink, which is fine mistakes happen but she didn’t clean it all up. Later when we ordered tea she put the teabag into the teapot and immediately poured us our cups, not giving the tea even 5 seconds to brew. If we wanted hot water we would order hot water. This hotel is considered the best hotel in the area and that might be true as i haven’t been to the other hotels, but that doesn’t mean this hotel is a good one.

Much appreciate their service, support and friendliness. Accommodation is much better than last 2 years, more comfortable and very nice. Hope to come back soon Thank you for all kind arrangement
