The Upper House

The Upper House Hong Kong is by far my favorite hotel in the world. The 5-star experience starts even before you arrive. The staff help with airport transfers, dinner reservations, and give really useful tips. From the moment you’re picked up at the airport, you feel like you’re coming back to a home away from home, and check-in is done right in your room, so you don’t have to wait in a busy lobby. The rooms are spacious, stylish, and always impeccably clean (and made ready by the time you get back from breakfast). They’re incredibly comfortable, and the daily-restocked “maxi bar” is a nice touch. After a busy day in the city, the quiet and privacy are perfect. The à la carte breakfast is excellent, with great coffee, and definitely worth booking with your room. The location is ideal, on Hong Kong Island in Central, so it’s easy to explore the city. But what really makes Upper House special is the staff. They’re warm, attentive, and really make every stay feel personal. I’ve been coming here since 2018, and I honestly can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Hong Kong.

There is a reason this hotel is constantly ranked amongst the best in the world. It is hard to imagine a better experience anywhere, let alone in Hong Kong. We’ve been staying here for business and pleasure for 20 years, and in the best possible way, nothing has changed - if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, but somehow they manage to keep improving on perfection. One of the best hotels I have ever been to. No need to say the location is perfect, but the rooms are just... amazing. Wonderful view on HK bay, incredible bathroom in the middle of the city buildings, and what a design. We loved staying here for 3 days, the service is just perfect, and you will enjoy the best breakfast in town. Go to the Upper House HK, you won't regret it.

One of the most stunning hotel rooms that's we've seen. The whole exprience was pure bliss, and the entire design & architecture of the hotel is truly amazing. The rooms are spacious, beautiful, high tech. The bathroom is one amazing experience to itself. The service was flawless from beginning to end. I could not recommand this Hotel enough

Our stay at Upper House was superb. Everything about this property is 'just right.' Staff are amazing, patient and responsive. The views are spectacular, and the rooms are elegant. This is probably the most impressive bathroom I've ever had in a hotel. Hong Kong is among the best food-towns in the world, and it holds its own beautifully. I loved its sister hotel in Beijing, but like the HK version even more. A hotel that merits the hype. Can't recommend it more strongly.
