Buri Rasa Village Koh Samui

We stayed at Buri Rasa for four days during our honeymoon, including over Yom Kippur, and our stay became one of the most memorable parts of our trip. From the very beginning, the team went out of their way to make our honeymoon special. After learning that we were celebrating, they upgraded us to a larger and more luxurious room with a pool. When we arrived, a beautiful honeymoon welcome had been prepared on the bed. It immediately gave us the feeling that this was a hotel where the staff genuinely cared about creating a personal experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the location is excellent. It is very convenient and close to everything, which makes it easy to explore the area, while the hotel itself still feels peaceful and relaxing. However, the main reason we wanted to write this review is the incredible staff. Sima deserves a very special thank you. From the beginning of our stay until the very end, she took such good care of us. She paid attention to every small detail, constantly checked whether we needed anything, and made us feel genuinely cared for. Yoshi was also exceptional. He was always kind, calm, helpful, and available whenever we needed assistance. We would also like to thank Henry and the rest of the team, who were warm, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. During our visit, we unfortunately experienced an electrical incident involving an iron, which required us to visit the hospital for medical checks. Thankfully, everything was fine. While the incident itself was obviously unpleasant, the way the hotel responded showed us just how seriously they take the wellbeing of their guests. From the moment the team learned what had happened, they constantly checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed. After we returned from the hospital, they arranged another room for us so we could rest comfortably while our original room was thoroughly inspected. An electrician checked the room and the electrical outlets, and the team made sure everything was safe before we returned. What touched us even more was that the concern came from everyone. At breakfast, members of the staff and even the chef knew what had happened and personally came over to ask how we were feeling. When you are far from home and something unexpected happens, that level of genuine kindness and concern means a great deal. Sima also prepared a thoughtful and personal welcome for us for Yom Kippur when we returned to our room. It was a beautiful gesture that showed just how much attention she gave to making our stay special. There are many hotels with beautiful rooms, pools, and great locations. What is much harder to find is a place where the people make you feel that they truly care about you. A huge thank you especially to Sima and Yoshi, as well as Henry and the entire Buri Rasa team. Your kindness, professionalism, and personal attention made a huge difference to us, and you turned our stay into something we will remember for a very long time.

This was the perfect beach hotel and we couldn't have made a better choice. There is direct access to the beach, which is great for swimming. The rooms are spaced out in smaller buildings, in a beautifully landscaped property. The room was large and comfortable, and had lots of bottled water. We felt very well taken care of by the staff, who always remembered our room number. The breakfast buffet had a nice mix of options, and there was the option to order fresh items from the kitchen. The food from the on-site restaurant was also good. Right outside the hotel is the main strip - the hotel is on the quieter part, but there were many restaurants around and a large grocery store a short walk away. The staff also helped arrange a transfer to the airport for us. I hope we get the chance to visit again someday, but if you go please have a rasa colada for me!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We loved our stay at Buri Rasa! The hotel is beautiful and peaceful, and the rooms feel very private. The beach is absolutely 5-star—beautiful, clear water and perfect for relaxing. The restaurant service was excellent, and housekeeping was amazing, refreshing our room twice a day. The only disappointment was the airport transportation. We had arranged a 400 THB airport pickup, but no one showed up, so we had to take a taxi. When we asked the hotel for transportation back to the airport, we were quoted 600 THB, while a taxi was only 400 THB. The price discrepancy was disappointing. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend Buri Rasa! 🌴❤️
