Phulay Bay, A Ritz-Carlton Reserve

This was my second stay at Phulay Bay, and once again the property delivered an exceptional experience. I travel extensively, have stayed at many beautiful luxury properties around the world, and I also work in the hospitality industry, so I have a deep appreciation for what exceptional service truly looks like. Jazzy was one of the absolute highlights of our stay. She has a genuine passion to serve that is immediately apparent. She consistently went above and beyond, often anticipating our needs before we even realized them ourselves. She remembered the small details, checked in thoughtfully, handled requests proactively, and made us feel genuinely cared for rather than simply looked after. What stood out most was how natural and sincere her hospitality felt. Nothing felt transactional or rehearsed. Jazzy has a rare ability to make people feel seen, supported, and important, and that level of service cannot simply be taught. Even during a very stressful travel situation on our final day, she was incredibly supportive and made a difficult moment significantly easier. I truly believe Jazzy will be successful in whatever she chooses to do. Her warmth, intuition, work ethic, and passion for service are exceptional. She represents Phulay Bay beautifully and is exactly the kind of person a luxury property should recognize, invest in, and develop. I also want to recognize Ritka, who is truly gifted at what she does. Our wellness experience with her was one of the most meaningful and memorable parts of the stay. She created a space that felt deeply personal, grounding, and restorative. Her guidance through breathwork, mindfulness, and reflection went far beyond a typical resort wellness experience. I left feeling lighter, more centered, and with tools and insights I genuinely want to carry into my life at home. Having experienced wellness offerings at many luxury properties, Ritka’s work stood apart because of the depth, intuition, presence, and genuine care she brought to the experience. Jazzy and Ritka are both examples of what makes Phulay Bay so special. The property itself is extraordinary, but ultimately it is people like them—people with a true passion to serve, who go above and beyond and anticipate a guest’s needs before they are even expressed—who transform a beautiful hotel stay into something truly unforgettable. This was my second stay at Phulay Bay, and it certainly will not be my last. I will be back! Thank you again for another exceptional and unforgettable experience.

Absolutely fantastic 4-night stay for us. The resort was beautiful. The service was top notch. Thai hospitality, elevated. I can't imagine service at a resort anywhere in the world can be better. Seriously. Our butler, Sun, made everything happen, and was always very gracious and accommodating. Everything just seemed seamless. When we went on outside excursions, whether it is to Ao Nang, or just to restaurants/massage near the hotel, the coordination between the staff, buggy, van, gate was seamless. We had a pool villa by the water, close to the main pool area and also the sunset bar, which I appreciated, but was also convenient to the breakfast pavilion. Breakfast every day was superb. Sometimes, the water temperature of the private pools can be on the colder side and so it's not utilized much, but our private pool at Phulay Bay was divine, private, with perfect water temp every day. We spent a lot of time there. We went to Hong Island for the beach one of the mornings from 9a-12noon and had a great time. The resort provided water, fruits, and towels while we were there. We also went to Railay Beach on another day for some rock climbing which my daughter loved. If you go during monsoon season, just make sure the waves are okay before deciding to go to town and buy the longboat tickets. All-in-all, we had a great stay, and we were glad we decided to go with Phulay Bay.

My wife and I came here for our honeymoon and loved it. Habib, our butler, was extremely attentive to all of our needs/concerns. Tanya was so friendly and we loved speaking with her/being greeted by her when we arrived. It genuinely felt like both of them cared and wanted us to have a great time. I've stayed at a lot of "5 star" resorts, and the service here was certainly the best I've experienced. Our beach villa was immaculately clean (I'm a clean freak). The decor at this hotel is beautiful, including handmade painted doors and archways. The sunset views from the main pool and sunset bar were phenomenal. Some of the best in the world, no doubt. We didn't leave the property at all during our stay, except for a quick trip to Hong Island on the hotels' included boat. That was great with provided water, towels, and fruit, in addition to the long tail boat ride. We needed late checkout and Habib secured another room for us to hang out in until our taxi arrived. Really fantastic. The food and drinks are definitely expensive for Thailand. But you're mostly paying for the view and location. I felt that breakfast could have more variety. Our favorite food was the food at the pool bar/served by the pool. An incredible stay for an amazing honeymoon, no regrets!

I was in many luxury hotels & resorts including various Ritz Carlton's and other top brands. This one is by far the best of them. It is a very special luxurious hotel with a very unique style. I was amazed with its beautiful design, everything is so magical and big. By far the best rooms - huge beds, very high floor to ceiling and huge doors, showers, pools and it makes it so cool! The view from the resort is stunning as well and the service was great too. I came to this resort as I got some hot recommendations and I can say it was above my high expectations! It is a must visit for those who like luxury/unique experiences or even just to properly relax!

There are a lot of beautiful places in Asia with breathtaking natural landscapes and excellent infrastructure, but only at the Phulay Bay Hotel, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, the management managed to add a truly rare component to these essential attributes of a luxurious holiday - an extraordinary warmth of the heart, which the hotel staff generously shares with their guests. And they do it so sincerely and naturally that you simply have no choice but to respond in kind. This is a true retreat not only for the body but also for the soul, which becomes filled with light, harmony, and love. In any weather and any season, this resort exudes the atmosphere of a paradise oasis, where you are always welcomed and treated like royalty. If you feel you've earned such a holiday, then you definitely need to come to Phulay Bay, a Ritz‑Carlton Reserve for a week!
