Phulay Bay, A Ritz-Carlton Reserve

My wife and I came here for our honeymoon and loved it. Habib, our butler, was extremely attentive to all of our needs/concerns. Tanya was so friendly and we loved speaking with her/being greeted by her when we arrived. It genuinely felt like both of them cared and wanted us to have a great time. I've stayed at a lot of "5 star" resorts, and the service here was certainly the best I've experienced. Our beach villa was immaculately clean (I'm a clean freak). The decor at this hotel is beautiful, including handmade painted doors and archways. The sunset views from the main pool and sunset bar were phenomenal. Some of the best in the world, no doubt. We didn't leave the property at all during our stay, except for a quick trip to Hong Island on the hotels' included boat. That was great with provided water, towels, and fruit, in addition to the long tail boat ride. We needed late checkout and Habib secured another room for us to hang out in until our taxi arrived. Really fantastic. The food and drinks are definitely expensive for Thailand. But you're mostly paying for the view and location. I felt that breakfast could have more variety. Our favorite food was the food at the pool bar/served by the pool. An incredible stay for an amazing honeymoon, no regrets!

I was in many luxury hotels & resorts including various Ritz Carlton's and other top brands. This one is by far the best of them. It is a very special luxurious hotel with a very unique style. I was amazed with its beautiful design, everything is so magical and big. By far the best rooms - huge beds, very high floor to ceiling and huge doors, showers, pools and it makes it so cool! The view from the resort is stunning as well and the service was great too. I came to this resort as I got some hot recommendations and I can say it was above my high expectations! It is a must visit for those who like luxury/unique experiences or even just to properly relax!

There are a lot of beautiful places in Asia with breathtaking natural landscapes and excellent infrastructure, but only at the Phulay Bay Hotel, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, the management managed to add a truly rare component to these essential attributes of a luxurious holiday - an extraordinary warmth of the heart, which the hotel staff generously shares with their guests. And they do it so sincerely and naturally that you simply have no choice but to respond in kind. This is a true retreat not only for the body but also for the soul, which becomes filled with light, harmony, and love. In any weather and any season, this resort exudes the atmosphere of a paradise oasis, where you are always welcomed and treated like royalty. If you feel you've earned such a holiday, then you definitely need to come to Phulay Bay, a Ritz‑Carlton Reserve for a week!

Absolutely incredible experience at this reserve. I visited here in August 2026 with my family and we had a wonderful time. It's located in a peaceful area which was extremely secure. The rooms were incredibly spacious - I shared a room with my two younger sisters and not once dis we feel claustrophobic. The reserve itself is beautiful, the pool area is lovely and the staff are incredible. Unfortunately don't remember the name of the gentleman who dealt with baggage but he was so cheery and lovely. Also the guys at sunset bar - namely George - were amazing and great to chat to. There were so many classes to get involved in or excursions to Hong Island that were throughly planned out. The spa was also one of the best I have ever been to (and I have been to many!) - the Indian head massage specifically was well worth the money (treatments were all a very good price). Also the breakfast was amazing (especially the french toast !!!) and the staff at breakfast were great and incredibly accommodating to allergies. But most of all what really made the experience at the reserve so incredible and comfortable was our wonderful butler Habib! I habe no words to describe how amazing Habib was - he was incredibly attentive and always there to help us with anything we need. My sister had managed to graze her knee and he was super helpful with arranging first aid. And he always seemed to be there with his buggy when we needed him. His attention to detail was incredible! I was talking to him by the pool while reading my book and when I saw him later on he brought me some bookmarks! Habib was just great! Very kind and personable and lovely to chat to. Habib really made our stay ten times better than it already was! I will be staying here again in the future!

Our stay at Phulay Bay, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, was nothing short of spectacular. We stayed in two Beach Villas with private pools, and from the moment we arrived, we were amazed by the beauty and scale of the property. The villas are enormous and decorated with exceptional style and attention to detail, while remaining completely true to the local architecture, Thai culture, and surrounding nature. It is luxurious without ever losing its sense of place. What truly made our stay unforgettable, however, were the people. Anna and Jazzy were absolutely impeccable. They looked after us amazingly throughout our stay, anticipating every need and making us feel genuinely cared for. A very special mention must go to Jos at the Beach Bar, who gave me that rare feeling of having a home away from home. He spoiled us with wonderful drinks and cocktails and even saved the same spot for me at the bar every day so I could sit, relax, enjoy my cigar, and take in the incredible surroundings. These small, personal touches are what transform a great hotel into an unforgettable experience. The restaurants are fantastic, with excellent food and service, and the gym and spa are on another level. Everything throughout the resort feels thoughtfully designed, beautifully maintained, and delivered with genuine warmth. Phulay Bay manages to combine extraordinary luxury with intimacy, authenticity, and truly personal service. We have stayed in many beautiful hotels around the world, but this is one of those rare places that stays with you long after you leave.
