Phulay Bay, A Ritz-Carlton Reserve

Our stay at Phulay Bay, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, was truly exceptional from beginning to end. I wish I could give it 10 stars!! The resort itself is breathtaking, with serene architecture, lush tropical grounds, and unforgettable views of the sea. It feels peaceful, private, and deeply connected to the beauty of southern Thailand. What made the experience most memorable, however, was the warmth and kindness of the staff. Every person we encountered made us feel genuinely cared for. Our butler, Sandy, was outstanding and anticipated every detail of our stay. Sunny, the Guest Service Manager, was incredibly gracious and attentive. Lif at the pool made our days there even more enjoyable, and Zee, the pastry chef, gave us wonderful food recommendations, including the Thai pizza at the pool, which became a favorite. The spa staff were also excellent and made the experience feel deeply relaxing and personal. Our villa was a major highlight. Having our own private pool made the stay feel especially luxurious, and the in-room refrigerator stocked with our favorite drinks was such a thoughtful touch. We tried every restaurant during our stay, and each one was outstanding. Sri Trang was especially memorable, with dishes that felt unique to southern Thailand and impossible to experience anywhere else. Phulay Bay is a rare place where the setting, service, food, and atmosphere all come together beautifully. It was one of the most special resort stays we have ever had, and we would return in a heartbeat.

I’d like to thank this wonderful hotel for offering me an incredible three-day and two-night stay. We were delightfully surprised by a complimentary room upgrade upon our arrival, which made our trip extra special. All staff members and butlers were thoughtful, dedicated and highly professional throughout our stay. Special thanks to our butler Maya, who always responded to our messages instantly and provided pick-up and drop-off services. I would also like to appreciate every hotel employee for their sincere and attentive service. The hotel covers a vast area with beautiful scenery, ideal for leisurely walks. We enjoyed wandering along the seaside in the evening, admiring the gorgeous sunset, and relaxing by the swimming pool. Our upgraded sea-view room was extremely spacious with an extra-large comfortable bed and stunning ocean views. The room boasts excellent natural lighting and is well-maintained in perfect condition. It is impressive that the hotel arranges regular closed-door renovations to maintain high-quality facilities and service. Additionally, the hotel’s Thai cuisine is absolutely delicious and authentic. I highly recommend guests to try the local delicacies here to experience authentic Southeast Asian flavors. Overall, this is a perfect and memorable stay. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to everyone.

A Sanctuary Within a Sanctuary: A Masterclass in Hospitality Our stay at Phulay Bay was spectacular in every sense. Phulay Bay is far more than a resort, it is a hidden retreat and a sanctuary of rare beauty, where deeply personal hospitality makes every moment feel exceptional. From our very first email, the team was exceptionally responsive and thoughtful, accommodating our requests with genuine care. That same thoughtfulness continued through our arrival , the transfer was perfectly on time, and the refreshments arranged for the journey to Krabi were a lovely touch that immediately set the tone for the stay ahead. When we arrived at the property, we were completely blown away. The architecture is a magnificent marriage of grand design and natural serenity, offering views that truly defy description. It is one of those rare places that leaves you speechless. We were escorted to our Reserve Pool Villa, and the experience became even more extraordinary. The villa itself was a masterpiece of design, effortlessly elegant and in perfect harmony with its natural surroundings. We were fortunate to be assigned a villa with the longest private pool, which made it feel like our own secluded oasis. It truly felt like a sanctuary within a sanctuary. It was there that we met the true star of our stay, our butler, Khun Jake. I had chosen Phulay Bay to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and Jake made it one of the best decisions I could have made. He orchestrated every detail with such ease, warmth, and professionalism that he exceeded our expectations in every possible way. Calling him the star of our stay feels like an understatement. One of the most unforgettable moments was the birthday dinner he arranged on the rooftop of Lae Lay. It was beautiful, romantic, and truly dreamy. There, we met Khun Blute, whose warmth and genuine spirit made the evening even more special. Talking to her felt so easy and natural, as though we were spending time with an old friend. She is a wonderful person, and we wish her all the very best. The culinary experience was equally exceptional. Khun Zee at Jampoon served food that was absolutely delicious, and we were deeply grateful for the thoughtful suggestions and the way our requests were accommodated so graciously. Finally, a heartfelt thank you to the Resort Manager, Khun Ian. The way you personally connect with guests while ensuring everything runs so flawlessly behind the scenes is truly impressive. It was a genuine pleasure meeting you. Phulay Bay now holds a very special place in our hearts. My wife and I raised a toast during our stay and promised ourselves that we would return again and again, a promise we fully intend to honour. I could write so much more about this beautiful property and its extraordinary team, but I would simply like to end with gratitude. We came to Phulay Bay to celebrate my birthday! We booked a romantic package with ocean view room for three nights. Our bulter, khun Anna, took care of us days and nights. The breakfast staffs were amazing and remembered where we liked to seat. They always checked on us. Dinner at the Thai restaurant for two times, we met the chef on one occasion, the food was delicious, there was no need to leave the resort. We have a couple massage and was greeted with beautiful decor on the floor arranged with beautiful flowers with my name on it. The relaxation room has an unforgetable to die for garden view. I also has a facial on the next day, I did notice some difference in my skin right away. Our package included a long tail private speed boat to Hong Island (highly recommend) that served pinic by the water. The next day, Khun Anna booked for us a seven hours trip to different islands including the famous James Bond island. The private speed boat consisted of a captain, a bulter and another person whom helped with docking the boat. The seven hours trip was perfect, we can stop a bit long or short, the captain even drove the boat closer for us to feed the hungry monkeys, the trip was well worth it. On one early morning, we walked by the sea to catch some morning breeze, some of the workers saw us while they were sweeping the sands, they all stopped and greeted us. Somehow, I found tears in my eyes for feeling that I have never encountered in my life. These hard working people deserve much better life. It made me feel how fortune I am to be able to enjoy such a beautiful place on earth with the gratiude of these kind and well train workers. To summarize, this resort has provided me excellent services, a great memorable stay and of course, they have exceeded my expectation.
