Phulay Bay, A Ritz-Carlton Reserve

We had an incredible stay at Phulay Bay. Our room was stunning, with a bed so large and comfortable it easily accommodated our family. A major highlight was the massive swimming pool; it never felt crowded, providing a peaceful escape. My children spent hours there and loved visiting the pool bar. A special shout-out to Nut the bartender, who was incredibly kind and crafted delicious creative drinks for the kids to try. What truly sets this resort apart is the leadership. The GM, Mr. Sagar, is very present and frequently chats with guests. We were amazed that on our very first day, while being escorted to our room, Mr. Sagar already knew our children by name and greeted them personally. That level of attention to detail is rare and made us feel truly welcome. The exceptional service continued in the restaurants; the staff are incredibly passionate about their craft. The Thai restaurant, Sri Trang, in particular, served super yummy food that was a highlight of our dining experiences. A major, unmissable highlight of our entire Krabi trip was the complimentary Hong Island boat excursion offered by the resort. The stunning scenery and crystal-clear waters made for unforgettable memories. Spa is also the highlight as the environment is so peaceful. We were also lucky enough to be staying during the Thai New Year celebration, which the resort hosted with vibrant, enjoyable activities that truly enhanced our 5-night stay.

We booked 6 days at Phulay Bay for our wedding anniversary without really knowing what to expect as we don't usually stay at Resorts, we were just looking for a luxury hotel to stay at in the Krabi area. We were totally blown away by the whole experience. From the minute you arrive at the property the service and attention to detail are exceptional. You are assigned a Butler or 'Ton Hong' as they call it (which I later found out is a royal Thai phrase that means 'devoted support', which is entirely accurate!) who takes care of anything you need - a kind of combo personal concierge, resort guide, trip planner/ booker, who also ferries you around the resort on demand(!). Our Ton Hong was Habib, and he was absolutely amazing, taking great care of us every day. Friendly, knowledgeable, and always cheerful. I don't think he ever took more than 60 seconds to respond to WhatsApp messages in the group chat he started with us. He made the trip next-level for us. We were mostly there to relax but did find time to do a few activities outside of just hanging out by the huge infinity pool. One morning we took a trip to Hong Island and beach. Our favorite trip was a visit that Habib arranged to the 80 acre Following Giants ethical Elephant Sanctuary which rescues Elephants from various shows, tourist attractions and the logging industry. Our favorite daily activity was having a cocktail at their sunset bar around 5:30 and watching the sky slowly change color and silhouette the Hong islands. Stunning and different every day. Everything was so smooth and well organized, the staff were so friendly and I think it might have been the most relaxing, fun stay we've ever had. It's a definite 10/10 and we'll be returning for sure next year. Thanks Khun Habib!

We had an extraordinary stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Phulay Bay during our honeymoon. The property is exceptionally private and serene, with immaculate landscaping, thoughtful care throughout the grounds, and a peaceful setting that immediately allows you to relax and disconnect. The rooms are enormous with soaring ceilings, (some with) private pools, and gorgeous ocean and sunset views. The bed was incredibly comfortable and genuinely felt like sleeping on a cloud. The private spa retreat was breathtaking and the treatments were top-both. Luzy, in particular, completely transformed my physical state into deep presence and relaxation. The resort’s enormous infinity-edge pool overlooking the islands is a true highlight. The food was consistently excellent, the service seamless, and the people genuinely among the friendliest we have encountered anywhere. What truly set this stay apart were the personal touches throughout our time there. We were welcomed with beautiful in-room gifts and continued to experience thoughtful surprises on our outings. The team consistently anticipated what would make our stay feel meaningful and memorable. One of the most important moments of our trip was a private boat experience where the team supported us in honoring the release of our father’s ashes. Their care, sensitivity, and respect made this deeply personal moment feel beautiful rather than heavy, and we will always be grateful for how thoughtfully it was handled. We are also fans of The White Lotus, and the team leaned into that theme in playful and creative ways that added a layer of fun to the experience without ever feeling forced. Our butler, Sandy, and property manager, Tanya, were both exceptional. Together they were behind many of the personalized, creative, and genuinely heartwarming touches that made every day feel special and unforgettable. Their care, attention to detail, and thoughtfulness truly elevated the entire experience. This resort delivers both world-class luxury and sincere hospitality. We left feeling relaxed, grateful, and already looking forward to returning.

We spent 5 nights at this hotel and enjoyed every moment of it - in particular: - the friendly and attentive service from all staff members and in particular from our personal butler Yid who recommended and arranged great activities and experiences such as a private dinner on the beach - the beautiful hotel, landscape and luxurious villas. We stayed in a reserve villa with sea view and it was a truly unique experience - the great food across all restaurants and in particular the breakfast as well - the massive pool overlooking the ocean - the appreciation of Marriott bonvoy program members across all dimensions (benefits at hotel, room upgrade etc) I can truly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and luxurious stay jn Krabi and will definitely visit again Many thanks to all staff members for making this a unique experience.

My wife and I visited several areas in Thailand to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary, and one of the hotels we chose was Ritz-Carlton Reserve Krabi. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. We were welcomed at the main entrance by the manager and the staff who would be personally responsible for our stay. They escorted us to a tranquil setting for a beautiful welcome ceremony, after which we were introduced to the support team who would be taking care of us during our visit. Among them was our personal butler, Habib. From the time we arrived until our departure, Habib ensured that every aspect of our stay was exceptional. Anything we needed, he was there—always attentive, professional, and genuinely caring. His dedication truly elevated our experience. We love visiting new places, but the next time we return to Thailand, the first call we will make is to see if Habib is still at this property. If he is, we will absolutely be coming back. The hotel itself is outstanding, but the combination of this beautiful property and Habib’s exceptional service created an experience we will cherish for a lifetime.
