Designed to give the feel of an authentic Khmer village in rural surroundings – it does just that. Enormous care has been taken in its construction, and the interiors have same theme of rural simplicity. A little pot of bright green rice shoots decorate the tables, and shutters are made with woven banana leaves. Within the resort lie two restaurants, two bars, a boutique, a 50 meter infinity pool and a spa.

My best friend and I spent a weekend at the Zannier, and we both consider it one of our top three hotel experiences in our lives (having stayed in hundreds of hotels in our lives). It looks better than it does in pictures, is wonderfully located. We were able to conveniently explore multiple nearby temples, Tonle Sap lake, and the Old Market in Siem Reap. What stands out is the service, and the intention that has gone into this place. Every little detail looks considered and well curated. The staff are instantly ready to help with any issue you have, and are very helpful with any activity you wish to take. They managed to arrange a lovely tour of Tonle Sap when we arrived with more energy than we expected, despite a two hour heads up. We briefly mentioned to the reception that we were considering touring Siem Reap later that evening while we were on our way to dinner. At 9pm, as we were getting ready (slowly), the reception called to check if we still wished to go as this was the time their standby tuk tuk driver usually went home. We were greeted by name after a few nights. We were both so impressed with the thoughtful service. Cherry on top of a property that looks like it is out of a fairytale. The only minor issue I had with this place was the pool, which was beautiful (with very comfortable cabanas) but consistently almost uncomfortably warm. A little disappointing when hoping to cool off during a hot day. But that’s a small price to pay for an otherwise stellar experience. We can’t wait to go back! It is very family friendly, a fun little enclosed space that I could run in, and the food was incredible.

Beautiful tranquillity and a little piece of luxury in the heart of Siem Reap - with amazing staff, food and facilities - one of the best places I've ever stayed at

This is a very beautiful and special place to stay when visiting Angkor and the surrounding area. The rooms are gorgeous and everyone at the hotel is so friendly. The environment is stunning and I will never forget watching the sun set from the lovely bar and swimming in the fabulous pool. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Zannier Hotels Phum Baitang in June - wow, this place is magical! It’s easily one of the best hotels we’ve ever experienced. Highlights: the beautifully simple buffet breakfast overlooking the hotel’s rice paddies (peaceful and delicious), a huge, gorgeous pool that became our afternoon ritual, and spacious, luxurious rooms that felt both refined and relaxed. We booked several private tours through the hotel—a sunrise Angkor Wat visit, an Angkor Thom bike tour, and another bike ride through the countryside—and every one was superb. Our guides were first-rate: warm, deeply knowledgeable, and genuinely flexible in shaping each day around what we wanted. The bike tours—each taking us out in the hotel’s Defender—were standouts for the whole family. Service throughout was thoughtful without being fussy, the grounds are stunning, and the entire experience felt effortless. We can’t wait to come back one day. Wholeheartedly recommended.
