Hey so we stayed at banyan tree in May 2025 for 10 days , while bkfast was average the room and everything was fine, minus the one lizard on the bed ….we were 3 of us so we stayed in the pool one bedroom villa But this November we stayed in banyan again for 6 nights and it was absolutely terrible. We stayed at the double pool double bedroom villa.. we entered the villa only to be welcome by mosquitoes and no butler around . Next day we had flying cockroaches in the room and alongwith lizards for 2 days in a row.. we complained they did pest control but didn’t really help again they had to do the same the next day. Bkfast at Tre was very average. My kids were beyond disappointed and waterfront was very okay last time as well. My husband complained to the butler who btw showed up only the next day after we had checked in and all to show us another villa and he said it’s all full nothing is available. No one really cared from the hotels team to bother about us. It seemed like we were doing them an effort by staying there. I would’ve assumed after staying for so many days in May the hotel would’ve ensured they would be on top of things and made it extra special. Pool water had way tooo much chlorine. And the room was very run down and old. Water was leaking from the ceiling we had to call them twice to take care of it. Finally. House keeping at 9 am I had put the sign but till 2 PM they were too busy to do do it until I called them again. Anyhow I really expected sooooooo much more. Oh well now you know before u book atleast know how their service and stay and rooms are … All in all

We stayed in a double pool 2 bedroom vill and a double one bedroom villa for my and my wife's birthday celebration. It was a most enjoyable stay. In terms of hardware, the whole development was vey tranquil. The villas were spacious and nice with a lot of amenities. However, the villas were a bit dated and tired. There wasn't enough sockets for charging our devices. The air conditioning was very cold and the controls were not easy to manage. In terms of software, we cannot fault it in the least. From the moment we checked in, we were met with friendly hospitality by Mo who continued to pamper us throughout our stay by responding to all our requests speedily and efficiently. We did the Mekhala Dinner Cruise and were worried about the weather. Mo had the presence of mind of suggesting various contingency plans in case the weather became inhospitable. In the end, the weather turned out perfect and we had a lovely dinner on the boag. I highly recommend this Dinner Cruise. It is a bit pricey but well worth every penny of it. Oat was another staff who always appeared with a smile when we ordered our buggy and helped with all our needs. The free well being classes in the morning were very enjoyable. The daily breakfasts were fantastice. All in all, we had a great time in Banyan Tree Phuket. I heard that they are renovating the double pool villas. I am confident that the renovated villas will be much better and I look forward to visiting again. The stay came to an end all too quickly for all of us.

Excellent spa experience, beautiful villa, fully equipped, very clean. Everything is pretty well organized, staff is polite and supportive. Dining is high quality, breakfast-rich and taste. Rava beach , reachable by shuttle, is a very nice place for a great day on the beach. The inly one thing we miss was the sea view and closeness.

This was my first time staying at a Banyan Tree hotel. When I arrived at the lobby, the staff welcomed me with a fresh flower garland along with a welcome drink, which immediately set a warm and inviting tone for my stay. The Pool Villa was beautifully decorated, featuring a lovely artwork above the bed and a soothing aroma that made the experience even more relaxing. During the evening turn-down service, the staff placed a small fabric turtle bag in the room—a charming little detail that made my stay feel even more special. At check-in, I requested a late check-out, and the staff mentioned that they would call me to confirm whether it was possible. I waited until the next morning, but no call came, so I asked my friend to inquire at the front desk. The staff then explained that a late check-out was not possible, which was why they hadn’t contacted me. I feel that receiving a simple call to update me would have left a better impression, rather than having to ask in person. Perhaps it was because I stayed using a complimentary voucher this time, which might be the reason why my request did not seem to receive much attention. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including Thai, Japanese, and Indian dishes, along with fresh juices—and they even served sparkling wine. Overall, my first stay with the Banyan Tree brand was an impressive experience.

We visited Banyan Tree in September and love every moment of our stay. Although the resort is 30 years old it has been maintained meticulously. We loved the spaciousness, kindness and consideration of every staff in the resort regardless of their job they were always happy and most considerate and helpful us improve on our attempt to learn a view phrases in their language. Special mention will go to gorgeous Ley who looked after us in our accommodation for the time we stayed. He was just so attentive and caring and made sure that everything was spotless and we never went without anything. Next would be Niwhat and Pie this is the true jewel of this resort, the people who work there. I could literally list every single person for a special mention as they all were outstanding. The health house with their amazing fruit tasting and gorgeous girls who were so happy to make all this delish fruit platters for us. The extraordinary Tre restaurant with Sandy, Jang, Nu, Meer, Pore who made our last mornings of our stay surreal. What a privilege to have been able to experience this place. The list could go on and on and we probably have missed some people. We felt truly blessed to have been able to stay here. Thank you for having us and making this unforgettable.🙏🙏🙏
