Exceptional Stay with Unforgettable Experiences over New Year's Eve Recently I had the amazing experience of staying at this amazing property and hotel over New Year’s Eve, and truly I cannot recommend it enough! Every aspect of our stay was carefully arranged to provide and offer an exceptional experience, creating lasting memories for my family and me. From the very warm hospitality at the front desk to the thoughtfully curated activities for kids and the comprehensive food offerings, this hotel truly exceeded all our expectations. Flawless Front Desk Service The experience began the moment we arrived at the hotel. The front desk staff and reception were incredibly efficient, professional, and welcoming. Check-in was seamless, and the team made us feel right at home. With Bonvoy Gold Membership or above, the hotel staffed offered surprise arrangements and they went the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed, including providing detailed information about the hotel’s amenities and the New Year’s celebrations arrangement. Their personalized service set the tone for the rest of our stay and made us feel valued throughout. Outstanding Activities for Kids As a family with kids, we were thrilled to see the wide range of activities designed specifically for young guests. The hotel went above and beyond to create a fun and engaging environment for children. From the dune hiking, camel riding, house riding to wildlife experience, in addition to the kids room and outdoor playground, all these activities allowing the kids kept busy and happy the entire time. The staff overseeing these activities were patient, attentive, and clearly experienced in working with children, which gave us, as parents, peace of mind. In particular, Mosin has been a very great guide for the two hours long hiking and it is super rewarding and memorable experience for the kid. Exquisite Food & Beverage Offerings The highlight of our stay was the New Year’s Eve buffet, which was nothing short of spectacular. The variety of dishes was truly impressive, catering to a diverse range of palates. From fresh seafood and international delicacies to decadent desserts, every item on the menu was impeccably prepared and presented. The dinner was accompanied by live music, which added a festive touch to the evening and all the hotel guests enjoyed. Even beyond the New Year’s celebration, the hotel’s restaurants consistently delivered exceptional dining experiences. Breakfast and lunch was a lavish spread of fresh and high-quality options with local flavours while the à la carte dinners offered delightful dishes that showcased the culinary team’s expertise. The attention to detail in the food presentation and the attentive service of the staff made every meal a memorable experience. Unforgettable New Year’s Eve Celebration The hotel’s New Year’s Eve celebration was a standout feature of our stay. The event was meticulously planned, with live entertainment, dazzling decorations, and a warm, festive atmosphere. The countdown to midnight was magical, complete with a stunning fireworks display that left everyone in awe. It was an incredible way to ring in the new year, and the hotel truly made it special for all its guests. The resort is beautifully secluded in the desert, and our room with a private pool was wonderfully appointed. The staff were amazing, and the breakfast, too. We loved the Raptor show, seeing falcons, hawks, and owls up close. Dinner at Zuma, the Asian restaurant, was good, but we had to chase the Bonvoy points for about a month with several emails, reminders, and follow-ups. The stargazing activity was also disappointing — initially accommodated, it was later canceled due to “cloudy skies,” which felt like an excuse. Overall, the stay was nice.

The service at this hotel is superb, the staff are very attentive and chatty giving you little tips along the way. Special mentions to Kumari at front desk who made the check-in process very easy. Mukhtar from reception was very friendly and Prasad the buggy driver who was very pleasant. The falcon show was very good both the people who run it competent as is the Person from South Africa who runs the Star gazing show (sorry I have forgotten his name) The downsides of this property are that the property is very dated and needs an upgrade, to be considered a 5 star property. The rooms are showing their age. Room service is slow, there is no Netflix or movie channels, in a resort where you are spending quite a lot of time in the room, to me this would be essential. The Zuma pop-up had great food as did the Farmhouse by Syrco. The paddock cafe has terrible food and terrible decor, very basic. Gluten free options are very limited at the Paddock cafe and in room service. The details and finesse are missing from this Ritz Carlton, the Christmas decorations were not tasteful at all. The activity desk is not decisive about what activities they are running for the day. For the amount they charge I feel they need to up their game

A very nice retreat in the middle of the desert. Lots of activities and very helpful staff. Jonas and his team were super helpful to make our stay great. Thank you Jeff for the help during check in and thank you Danso your wonderful guest service and for showing us around.
