The Ritz Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert

My husband and I were there to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary and were we spoilt!! It was just incredible and so luxurious. Samson, our butler knew what we needed before we could even think of it. He was just amazing even giving us a little jar filled with special love notes for our anniversary personally written with the help of some of the other wonderful staff. Such a special touch. The Farm House restaurant is a must!! Unbelievable food all sourced locally! The wildlife spectacular and finally The Rainforest and Spa. I had no idea what the Rainforest was so be prepared to be surprised. Need I say more. I will definitely be coming back here again.

Check-in was absolutely seamless thanks to Jonas, and we were even surprised with a complimentary villa upgrade that made our stay extra special. The villa was stunning. Since I was celebrating my birthday, every team member made us feel incredibly welcomed and celebrated. From the lovely surprise prepared in the room by the Front Office team, (thanks to Sujal and Selina) to the birthday touches during breakfast at Kaheela Restaurant (thanks to Blue, Suraj, Aung, Pizan, and Gopal from In-Villa Dining) and even at Paddock Café (thanks to Komang!)— everything felt so thoughtful. Even the buggy drivers wished me a happy birthday every time we met (yakub, sajith, haman, and more!) which honestly made the experience feel so personal and memorable. What we loved the most was the beautiful natural desert concept. Seeing gazelles and oryx roaming around was magical, and we also enjoyed seeing the horses and camels. The falcon show was definitely another highlight — absolutely amazing. The only small downside was that the TV didn’t have Chromecast, but honestly everything else was so wonderful that it barely mattered. Thank you to the entire team for such an unforgettable birthday stay. We’ll definitely come back!

The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety and delicious food. Mr. Suraj was extremely friendly, always smiling, and consistently provided outstanding service at the restaurant. He truly made the dining experience even more enjoyable.

I spent my birthday at The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert and it was truly magical. A week before check-in, they reached out to ask about my preferences, and from the moment I arrived, they really took great care of us. The check-in experience was smooth, and the Front Office Agent was very informative about the hotel and its facilities. After that, my sister and I were escorted to our villa by Mr. Hemanth. He was so kind and explained everything along the way, as well as all the facilities inside the room. The Housekeeping team also prepared a small birthday cake and chocolates on the table — such a lovely touch from them. Once we arrived, we were very hungry, so we decided to have lunch at Paddock Café. We were served by Mr. Satish, who was very informative and helpful with the menu recommendations. The lunch was delightful. When we were about to head back to our room, one of the servers approached us — his name was Komang Aditya — and it turned out he was also from Indonesia. We were so happy to meet another Indonesian so far away from home. We had such a lovely conversation with Komang Aditya, and after that, the team from Paddock Café surprised me for my birthday. I honestly couldn’t imagine they had even noticed it was my birthday. Thank you so much to the entire team at Paddock Café for making my birthday feel extra special. After lunch, we went cycling around the beautiful resort, and it was one of the best cycling experiences I’ve ever had. The view was outstanding — everything felt so magical. When the sun started going down, we stopped by their Falcon Show. It was such an amazing experience to watch the falcons with a beautiful sunset in the background. After the show, my sister and I went back to our room to prepare for dinner at Farmhouse, one of their fine dining restaurants. We were shocked because when we entered the room, the Housekeeping team had prepared something extraordinary for us. They decorated the room with balloons, feathers, lamps, and even gave us complimentary sparkling apple juice. It became such a wonderful memory for me. Thank you so much to the Housekeeping team. For dinner, my sister and I chose Farmhouse, and it was definitely the best decision because they truly took care of us. Special thanks to Yee, one of the servers at Farmhouse, and also Robin. They went above and beyond to make my birthday dinner feel memorable. At that time, my sister and I didn’t want to eat too much because we were still full from lunch at Paddock Café, but they still gave us many complimentary food and beverage items. Robin prepared a very nice beverage for us, and Yee gave us madeleines. They also surprised me once again for my birthday. Truly, thank you so much to the entire Farmhouse team. The next morning, we went to Kaheela for breakfast. The food was delightful, and once again, they surprised me with a birthday cake and beverage. Thank you so much to the Kaheela team. After checking out, my sister and I decided to go back to Paddock Café to visit the Indonesian guy we met the previous day. We only planned to have coffee there, but as always, it wouldn’t be The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert if they didn’t leave you speechless. Komang served us dessert, and it was really delicious. We had such a lovely conversation once again. Thank you so much to Komang Aditya for really taking care of us during our visit to Paddock Café. Yesterday we came home with full hearts after another incredible day at the Ritz-Carlton Al Wadi Desert. We've been coming regularly for a year now, sometimes as day guests, sometimes for a staycation, and every single time it's just as magical as the last. Yesterday morning our little son asked if we could spend the day there, because he loves it so much, especially the animals. Oryxes, gazelles, camels, horses, tortoises, wild birds: there is simply so much to experience. The staff are exceptional, without exception. From the moment you arrive, Darshana and Danso greet you with a warm smile, take care of your luggage and your car and make you feel genuinely welcomed. Yesterday, our son gave them a drawing he'd made as a thank-you. They surprised him in return with a cuddly camel toy named Lulu, something he absolutely did not see coming. As we drove off, he high-fived them through the window. This is exactly the kind of hospitality that turns guests into regulars. Keep it up. By the pool, everyone lights up when they see Thankgod again. He takes such wonderful care of everyone. The cabanas are the best we've ever experienced, and everything is thoughtfully child-friendly. A special lunch request (just chicken and steamed vegetables) was handled with ease and professionalism. We've also had exceptional dinners at Kaheela Restaurant. The dishes and quality are truly extraordinary. We've been lucky to meet Chef Rick and his team several times, and it's always inspiring to see the passion with which he runs the restaurant and talks about food. The manti with truffle sauce? I could bathe in it. Easily one of the best dishes I've eaten anywhere in the world. Yesterday we couldn't stay for dinner, but Chef Rick surprised us with a sourdough to take home, so we got to enjoy a little piece of Kaheela in our own kitchen. Köstlich. The kids' club is another highlight our boys love. The atmosphere is warm and genuinely welcoming. Favour and Reem make every child feel seen, valued, and at home, and that really is what matters most. The activity offering is fantastic: a huge selection of colouring pages, a ball pit for little ones, a PlayStation for older kids, and a great outdoor playground. Our boys never want to leave. The spa is a treat in every sense, and the rooms are always immaculate and beautifully maintained. Whether you come for a day or stay the night, the standard never slips.
