Reviews for The K Club

A Perfect Hotel just outside Dublin!

Wow, what can we say that others haven’t? We had such an absolutely tremendous time staying at this property. Only a short 30 minute drive from the airport, this property felt so far away from the hustle and bustle of Dublin city. At around 550 acres this property was an oasis. Even though it was our first time to Ireland we almost missed visiting Dublin because we were so enthralled by the K club’s property. We simply wish we had more time. The hotel itself is simply stunning. We were in a Liffey suite and for European standards, it was huge and incredibly comfortable. With a wonderful shower, luxurious bath products, soft towels and a super comfortable bed. We were fortunately there a week or so before the Irish Open golf tournament so there was a natural buzz on the property. I was able to secure one of the last tee times on the championship course before they shut it down for the tournament. The conditions were unbelievably spectacular. I had such a blast playing this course. The greens were fast. The rough was long. The course was just in immaculate shape. The golf staff were so great. We spent a bundle on mementos and the golf staff was just so unbelievably friendly. We absolutely loved simply walking the halls of this property. It’s so well appointed. Very tasteful decorations. We ate both evenings on the property. On the night we arrived we simply ordered room service and honestly, it was one of the best fish and chips we had all trip! We then ate at the Barton restaurant our last evening and each course was amazing and the service wonderful. We used the gym twice and although a bit of a walk from our room, it was such an amazing facility with everything you’d need for a great workout! As with many luxurious Five Star properties, it’s the staff that helps make your stay so memorable. The K club this was no exception. Every single person we met were so gracious and friendly. Everyone went out of their way to help us. The only slightly negative thing that I could possibly comment on was the communication with the general email box. We had booked earlier in the year and any inquiry we sent was significantly delayed. I’m assuming they are working on fixing that. The K club was one of those properties that was so unbelievably comfortable and memorable that both my wife and I said the next time we are in Ireland, we are without a doubt going to come back to this glorious property. We cannot thank the staff for making our stay so amazing.

Extravagant wedding took place here and it was spectacular! Opened with a golf round on the South course( North course is where the Irish Open has been played). Meet & greet a short distance to Barbourstown Castle Hotel, then Wedding & reception at K Club. It is a magical place and all were very accommodating. About 20 miles West of Dublin!

We were lucky to stay for a night with the hotel fully decorated for Christmas. The hotel is amazing during this time, so much work involved in the decorating. The staff are fantastic and welcoming. We stayed during a celebration and we were very grateful for the unexpected room upgrade and welcome treats. Really made our stay extra special. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed super comfortable. We didnt want to leave and will be back.

Elegant Hotel with Great Service at Grand Hotel well known for their Golf Course and Prestigious Tournaments

My husband and I took a trip to celebrate a milestone anniversary and stayed for two nights at the K Club in Kildare on our way back to Dublin. We wanted to see more of the beautiful Irish countryside and and Japanese gardens that are part of the Irish National Stud and Gardens and decided to use the K Club as our base to explore the area. We were greeted by a very friendly representative who also told us that our room had been upgraded to one with gorgeous views of the river and countryside. The room was very comfortable and elegant and we also saw that the hotel had acknowledged our anniversary with a small chocolate cake which was a very thoughtful gesture. Breakfast was delicious. There was a small buffet but you could then order more items from an a la carte menu. We ate dinner at the Palmer Restaurant one evening and the South Bar and Restaurant the next and enjoyed the meals at both places. The K Club has a world famous golf course and had just hosted the Irish Open and still had golfers all around their grounds. We explored the extensive hotel and gardens and took lots of pictures. All the staff we met were very personable and helpful and we enjoyed talking to them. We enjoyed our stay here at the K Club. Thank you!

A Perfect 24 Hours at The K Club

We spent 24 hours at The K Club and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The room was beautiful and so comfortable, setting the tone for a relaxing stay. Golf was a real highlight, we had an early round and enjoyed a lovely coffee stop at the halfway house. The clubhouse food was excellent, and the atmosphere throughout the day was just right, calm, welcoming, and never too busy. Dinner that evening was outstanding, with a 10/10 atmosphere that made it feel really special. We rounded off the night with a few drinks in the bar, which was such a cosy and enjoyable experience. The staff went above and beyond at every stage , friendly, professional, and attentive without ever being overbearing. A truly memorable short break, and we can’t wait to return!
