Stayed here 5 nights. The location is quite special; watching the mist rise from the valley whilst relaxing in your heated pool never gets tiring. The onsite restaurants are great and the food choice ensures you wont get bored during your stay. The gym, is the best gym I've been to within a hotel. The views from the treadmill are epic and there is a squash court. We used the Spa and visited the Pinstripe bar which is very cool indeed. Biggest plus is that everyone on site are super helpful and are great at making you feel welcome. The hotel organised two days out for us, and they have their own cars with a driver to take you on the planned day trip, so no time wasted finding a car etc. One of the best hotels I've stayed at.

The Viceroy was a sanctuary of peace, luxury and excellent service. We arrived late in the evening after a not so nice experience in a hotel nearby where we decided to leave before even having spent one night there. We were shown different villa options and decided on the garden villa. A nice and spacious room with a private pool overlooking the river and jungle. The staff was very attentive and super friendly. Breakfast was a la carte with plenty of options. We are not fans of staying in hotels for dinner, but since there was bad weather and thus chaotic traffic in Ubud, we decided to have dinner in the hotel twice. Also that menu is very extensive. Check in and out was very easy. The hotel offers a shuttle service to Ubud centre which is very convenient. A small hotel with a lot of personal recognition, but it lacks a bit that bliss found in other upscale hotels. But that could be due to the bad weather we experienced. Maybe if there was sunshine that bliss would have been there, we do not know...

We stayed here for our honeymoon and could not have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, professional, and genuinely attentive. The room was beautifully prepared, comfortable, and had thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. The property itself is charming, well maintained, and perfectly located. Everything about our visit exceeded expectations. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a personal, memorable, and high-quality stay.

To be honest, this has been the best place we’ve ever stayed. From start to finish, the service was exceptional and every detail thoughtfully considered. Your staff were so kind and accommodating throughout. I think Antara served us a few times. He was so friendly, knowledgeable, and great craic! Our room was beautiful, with a stunning view by the pool. We stayed in a Deluxe Terrace Villa. Our final meal at Aperitif was on another level, and the bar staff in Pinstripe were brilliant as well. We had treatments in the spa also, which were superb! It was exceptional from beginning to end, and our only regret is not staying longer. We'll definitely be back!

We stayed 3 nights before heading over to Nusa Dua. We chose it based on the Tripadvisor reviews and it did not disappoint. We absolutely loved this property and it is now one of our favorite resorts in the world. Check in was smooth and efficient. We were tired from our journey and we were happy to get to our room quickly. They upgraded us to the Terrace Villa and I am so glad they did. It was beautiful and spacious. We used the plunge pool quite a bit. We were delayed coming in and we went straight to our dinner at Aperitif. We were a bit underdressed, but the staff was welcoming and friendly. We did the tasting menu and it was pretty good. It is definitely worth a visit for a special occasion. We preferred Cascades. The pumpkin soup was one of our favorites along with chicken satay. Breakfast has a fantastic selection and we loved it the three days we were there. Ask for the daily smoothie. While everything is fantastic, I would say that the service was the absolute showstopper. The staff are attentive and on their game. They know when you are leaving so they can get housekeeping to clean. The housekeeping are all stars and always leave the room immaculate. Finally, before we left, the Hotel Manager Patrick came over to say goodbye and I thought this was just such a perfect touch to the end of our stay. He genuinely cared about our experience and it is clear to me that the exceptional service comes from the top down.
