Fairmont Bab Al Bahr

The Fairmont provides a luxurious and relaxing leisure experience with elegant rooms, exceptional service, and plenty of amenities to ensure a memorable stay.

We stayed in a Fairmont gold room on the 7th floor. Spacious room, well equipped. Nicer to be able to get a room facing the creek as our room was looking over the car park which wasn’t that nice. All the staff were friendly and helpful, but sometimes lacking in knowledge about the hotel facilities. The Fairmont gold wants to come across exclusive and almost butler like service but I found this to be lacking compared to other hotels I have stayed at - no printers working, unable to access internet on their computers, unable to get a copy of my room bill when initially asked, having to really look to find staff when you want them for something. At this time of year the hotel is quiet which suited us, and if you want a busy atmosphere this is more of a business hotel so may not suit everyone. Pool area and beach were great. One of the lifeguards on the beach reserved our favourite cabana most mornings which was a lovely touch. Even though the hotel doesn’t have their own spa they don’t promote the hairdressers and nail/massage salon within their hotel - we used them for hair/nails/feet/massage and they are well worth visiting. There is a water sports company - not the hotels/ we found their prices a bit too expensive so didn’t use them. Restaurants overall good but the buffet restaurant only open 3/4 days. Lots of great malls only a taxi ride away 50aed to get there. Initially after a few days I thought this was a hotel I wouldn’t return to especially given the high standards and quality of hotels not only in Abu Dhabi but Dubai also. However once accepting of the fact that this is not geared towards tourists it is overall a good quality hotel and worth a visit.

Outstanding as always. Excellent amenities and rooms. Very friendly staff. Nice pool and beach. Special thanks to Mr Najdet for his support. A real excellent staycation place in the lovely Abu Dhabi city. Highly recommend for stay and trial.

I’ve been visiting every year since 15 years, the service and quality never gets old on top of the best view spot you may have in Abu Dhabi with the pool with inside bar. I’m taking the gold lounge with flowing food and drinks, surprisingly meeting the same staff, Paolo and Rajan upgraded the room to large suite, Stephan, Phoo Alfan and Angela who never forgot each name amd serving us before asking the fav drinks. And chef Imran putting the best dishes out there which recently upgraded too with bigger collection. The staff is making what Fairmont special experience means. If you want unforgettable moments. Then this is the one.

Upgraded room was lovely! Nice touch with the cake for our anniversary! Food was good in all restaurants Rajan on reception was very good
