Fairmont Bab Al Bahr

I recently stayed at Fairmont Bab Al Bahr as a Fairmont Gold guest and I can honestly say the experience on the Gold floor was exceptional. I was very kindly upgraded to a room with a mosque view after mentioning that my original room faced a concrete road junction. That thoughtful gesture immediately made my stay more special and was handled with warmth and professionalism. The Fairmont Gold lounge on the 7th floor was outstanding. The breakfast selection was colourful and plentiful, the afternoon tea and sundowners were beautifully presented, and everything was of excellent quality. However, what truly made the experience unforgettable was the staff. The team on the 7th floor are quite simply the best I have experienced in hotels anywhere in the world. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed, safe and genuinely cared for as a solo traveller. Every time I returned from exploring, I was greeted with a smile and genuine interest in how my day had been. They helped with directions, looked up specific shops I wanted to visit, arranged taxis and ensured I was properly prepared for my visit to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. I would especially like to recognise the wonderful team who made my stay extra special: Rayan, Pablo, Stephen, Nazia, Phoo, Angela, Eric, Alfam, Eduardo, Cristian and Shumana-Chef. Each of them contributed to an atmosphere of kindness, attentiveness and professionalism that truly stood out. A special mention must go to Phoo, who was attentive, warm and such a pleasure to speak with. She clearly takes great pride in her work and deserves a gold star for the way she made my stay so comfortable and welcoming. I have stayed in many hotels over the years, but this team set a new benchmark for service and friendliness. They made me feel valued rather than just another guest. Thank you for a truly memorable stay.

I stayed at the Fairmont Bab Albahar for 2 nights and my first impression was wow. The hotel grounds were beautiful, the entrance and the lobby were beautiful. We were checked-in by The Elisha. The check in process didn’t take too long. Unfortunately we were not given a room facing the beach, however the room was clean, beautiful furniture, the room size was great and the bed was very comfortable. We went for a walk on the beach, and the beach area is very nice and tidy. Tried the breakfast, food was okay (could be better) however there are many options to choose from. General experience was great, specially the comfort of the bed and the size of the room. The service at the breakfast area was not great, however it was good enough. I would recommend for guests to stay at this hotel, and when you do make sure you get a room facing the beach area.

My family and I had a great dinner buffet. They have a wide variety of international dishes that change daily with a grills section and live station, as well as sushi! The Asian style chicken salad is always a hit and tastes great! Our dinner experience was made even better thanks to the exceptional service provided by our server that night, Mr. Narayana! He was very helpful and kind and was quick and attentive to our every request. We'll definitely back for more and are excited for your iftar buffet!
