Fairmont Bab Al Bahr

We had a pleasant stay at Fairmont Bab Al Bahr and particularly enjoyed the spacious room and the very comfortable, generous-sized bed. The reception team were professional, welcoming and efficient throughout our stay. The room was acceptably clean, and one thing we really appreciated was how quiet it was. We could not hear any noise from the neighbouring rooms, which made for a very peaceful and relaxing stay. Breakfast was also enjoyable, with attentive service from the team. A special mention to Sudula for his warm and friendly service. We also appreciated the small sustainability touches, such as the glass water bottles and wooden brushes instead of plastic. Overall, a comfortable stay with professional service, a spacious room and a peaceful atmosphere. We would be happy to return.

My mum and I came to the Fairmont Abu Dhabi in September 2026 for our birthday week from London. The moment we checked in, Boushra at reception was extremely warm and welcoming. She gave us a brilliant room and early check-in as we arrived around 9am, despite check-in being from 3pm. She noted that it was both of our birthdays during our stay and sent a beautiful cake to our room! She remembered us every morning and followed up on how our stay is going every time. Our flight back home was 2am and although checkout was from the afternoon, Shania, who we had also met on the first day and was exceptionally warm and welcoming also, had extended us to a late checkout to 7pm to accommodate for our late flight! She and Boushra were so lovely and made me feel at home immediately. The hotel staff have gone above and beyond in ensuring we have had a memorable stay and were well looked after. This has been one of the best experiences we have had at a hotel and we will be staying at the Fairmont again for all future visits to Abu Dhabi! The food was also absolutely amazing. We were half-board and every day of our stay we could not stay away from Mazjaj Lebanese restaurant. Chef Elias deserves a Michelin star because every item we had was fantastic. Our favourites were Batata Hara, Kopoglu and Fatteh Batenjen. They let us take it away as portion sizes were generous. Although my stomach was full, my heart was not! Not to mention the great selection of desserts they had. Despite this, nothing could top the staff: Omar, the manager, remembered us and our orders every day and also loved chatting with us. Zouhir and Hadi were extremely warm and friendly waiters and this restaurant had such homely, delicious and delectable food. This is one thing I will certainly miss when going back to London! At breakfast, Chandrakant and Sudula were lovely staff too, and Al Makhtoum remembered from the first breakfast my exact coffee order and ensured it was ready for me all following mornings and was extremely attentive! Raja and Akmaral from reception were also lovely. Everyone at Fairmont went above and beyond to ensure our stay was 10/10 and because of the staff we will be coming again soon.
