We returned again as we felt the hotel was at least worth one further visit, we were not disappointed. The hotel is run at the most exacting standards by all of the team at all-levels. From the moment you walk in the opulence of this hotel is second to none, and the staff from the moment you alight from your taxi, manage your baggage and help to check you in relieves the stresses you may have from the journey to Abu Dhabi, absolute relaxation. The rooms are pretty opulate to say the least, lots of space and comfort and room for hanging clothes more than adequate. Bathrooms are quite splendid and well appointed and as always the room team keeps them in immaculate order, special thanks to Verkat and Bidyut who kept our room looking special at all times. Restaurant wise dining around is always an experience, we all have favourites and ours was Li Jiang (we love Asian food) Cola Chen the manager made us feel completely at home and all her menu suggestions were perfect for us, it’s really well run and all the staff without doubt are exceptional, Ajeef, Lula and ?? Leaving in November, thank you all so much. iSimilarly the team at The Forge are without doubt of the same standard as the other restaurant teams and they serve the most succulent steaks and other dishes, making my mouth water just thinking of our meals there. Great choice of wines reasonably priced and always a warm welcome form the team there. The Middle Eastern restaurant also serves up the most delicious lightly spiced, or hot food but be warned you need a healthy appetite to be able to do justice to the food there it’s really good, and often has a Middle Eastern entertainer playing what we thought was a sitar we thought possibly incorrectly. The pool area and gardens are immaculate and an absolute haven to try and walk off the delicious meals you have taken. It’s a pleasure to walk around the elevated areas where the villas are they are so well lit and managed by the gardeners who work tirelessly to very high standards, it’s a constantly evolving area. The whole team who manage the pool area are extremely keen to ensure that you want for nothing. Towel service, cleanliness of the area constant water and ice replenished without having to ask, you are treated by all so well. Jako Van Graan and his opposite number (sorry lost name) making sure everything runs like clockwork, not easy in those temperatures, but the pool are is massive and has a large children’s sheltered area. The pool bar is a great area to relax in and the bar itself well stocked, though we did not use the facilities as much as some others, we are not anti alcohol just found that alcohol and us do not bode well in the heat. Having said that it’s available and we were well accommodated by Janak, Kamran and Kushal (always smiling) who constantly made sure we did not run out of cool drinks. The management team (senior) are a visible source at this hotel and you see them walking around constantly and having what we see as an exceptional affinity with their teams, they make you feel special. Being an ex team manager myself I felt that I could recognise a genuine friendly team of individuals, who strive to be the best in what they do, and to keep a standard expected by the senior managers, and indeed the Groups expectations? Would we return again, more than likely. What’s not to like about this hotel I cannot really say without being totally pedantic, what could be improved, just some of the tiles around the pool area ,(not in the pool),which are getting tired and damaged , but they are cleaned daily, just hope no one trips up or injures themselves it’s avoidable. Best wishes to the team at the hotel,keep it up,it’s a tough business particularly in the UAE where standards are so exacting, but you have the team that will keep make certain you stay at the top. Horrible treatment to a Titanium member! Room stank of mould and they then downgraded my room to basic ! I travel a lot and I explained that but Mohammed front office duty mgr didn’t really get it !not a business hotel at all.

An Exceptional Family Stay at The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi Our holiday began on the 16th of October, and from the moment we arrived, the experience has been outstanding. Check-in was smooth and welcoming — we were greeted with drinks, assisted immediately, and shown to our room where everything was clearly explained. As it was our daughter’s birthday the following day, we mentioned it to the reception team, who went above and beyond by decorating our room with petals and leaving a small birthday cake — a thoughtful gesture that truly delighted our nine-year-old. We’ve mainly dined at the à la carte restaurant, which has exceeded all expectations. Every dish has been of exceptional quality, beautifully presented, and consistently delicious. We’ve also tried two of the other on-site restaurants, with Li Jiang being a standout — amazing food, excellent service, and wonderfully courteous staff. Having stayed at many high-end resorts around the world, I can confidently say the dining here is among the best anywhere. Our room was beautifully designed, spacious, and offered a lovely view of both the pool and canal from the balcony. The bathrooms were spotless and well-maintained, and the evening turndown service — complete with fresh towels, water, and chocolates — was a charming touch the children loved. Poolside service has been excellent. There’s no stress about finding loungers, and the attendants are always ready to help. We have twin nine-year-olds, and while the kids’ club didn’t fully capture their interest, it’s fantastic for younger children. The staff are caring and attentive, offering activities and supervised play, with gaming time sensibly limited to encourage balance. Overall, this resort is perfect for families, couples, and anyone seeking genuine relaxation and world-class hospitality. We still have a couple of nights left, but I felt compelled to write this early because we’ve been made to feel so welcome by every member of staff. Service here feels truly personal — not just polite but heartfelt. (Kushal, Zein, Kasen, Salman, and many more, a few names I can remember). In summary, I would wholeheartedly recommend The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi for its exceptional staff, impeccable food, spotless facilities, and warm family atmosphere. We look forward to returning soon!
