Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi

We really enjoyed watching Hossam play beach volleyball, and the Safra restaurant served us excellent food—I highly recommend it.

I had a wonderful stay at Shangri-La Hotel, and I would like to give special thanks to Sabrina at the reception. She was extremely helpful, polite, friendly, and welcoming, with excellent communication skills that made every interaction smooth and pleasant. Throughout my stay, the entire team was incredibly cooperative, warm, and attentive, making me feel truly welcomed. The food was also excellent — fresh, clean, and absolutely delicious. Thank you to Sabrina and the entire team for making my stay such a lovely experience. Your outstanding hospitality truly made a difference. I look forward to visiting again! ❤️

We stayed at the Shangri-La hotel in Abu Dhabi from the 2nd September to the 28th September 2026 following a previous vist the year before. The location is within easy reach of the local airport, but we travelled from Dubai Airport and the transfer was easy and inexpensive. As we had visited the property before, we contacted the hotel Front directly to arrange our transfer from Dubai Aiport, the journey was about one hour in a comfortable executive car arranged by the hotel and paid for by us. From start to finish, communication with the hotel management was seamless and very efficient. Questions were answered promptly and answers were very helpful. From our previous visit, we knew that staff at the hotel are fully dedicated to provide excellent service, so that was a major factor in returning for an extended visit. The hotel has the benefit of being outside the 'city' quarter, but within easy reach by local inexpensive taxi . The hotel is a mixture of modern and traditional décor and the many public rooms afford lots of space to find a quiet spot to sit and relax. An excellent view of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque can be had from the beach and pools. The hotel has an excellent and well kept infinity pool area and private beach with an additional swimming pool, so there is always somewhere to find your own spot to enjoy the amenities. The pool and beach staff go out of their way to meet guests needs and are very friendly, but not intrusive.. The hotel has a number of very good quality restaurants serving a variety of foods each day and staff are very willing to meet any additional needs if at all possible. Mr Kumar, Food and Beverage Manager was very helpful and professional. as were his staff.. The hotel has four restaurants each serving a variety of international cuisines and a dedicated Michelin starred French restaurant offering inventive contemporary takes on traditional French favourites. Front of house check in staff, door people and bar staff were all vey friendly and make you feel welcome once you step one foot into the hotel. Lobby. Mr Katir, Front House Manager ,went above and beyond to make our stay special and make us feel like honoured guests. Nothing is too much for these staff members and it made our experience special. We booked a Shangri-la Circle club room and the extra supplement was well worth the extra expenditure. The Club room is exceptional and made for a home from home at night when drinks and food was served. by an excellent staff. The Club rooms are very large, well appointed and provide the level of luxury I have come to expect from this hotel group. The only thing we did not enjoy was the 'cigarette smoke' drifting over from the Al Hanah Bar into the lobby Lounge occasionally, perhaps the hotel could fit a better air filtering system to take this smoke away. We had a wonderful, relaxed and stress free time inn the hotel generally, but week-ends can be busy with local families, but there is plenty of space, so getting away and finding your own 'spot' is not difficult.
