We enjoyed our stay at Pierre Mundo. This property was originally owned by John Getty as one of his retreats so it has a quaint 50’s elegant feel, which we loved. It never felt over crowded and you were able to escape and relax to read a book, or enjoy your partner or family. With three pools and a beach option, it was never overcrowded. Benjamin at the front desk was wonderful at check-in and helpful throughout our stay along with Marco the Manager. We choose the all inclusive package, which is fantastic because you can choose options across the Mundo hotels and get around via a shuttle (Imperial and Princess too). We had no issues with dinner reservations, which you book the day prior. Tabachin was outstanding. I can see why it was rated in the Mexican guide. The maître D remembered our choice of drinks and likes and dislikes, he is one of a kind in customer service and made it a true dining experience! Bruno the Beach/Pool Manager was extremely accommodating and helpful to ensure we were shaded from the sun with multiple umbrellas along with loungers with thick cushions at the pool and beach. He also watched and notified the team when my husband went for long swims in the ocean which was greatly appreciated. Griselda at the Pierre Bar was our favorite server. In fact, we even went to the beach one day because that is where she was serving because she anticipated our needs and ensured we had super cold beverages on a timely basis. We enjoyed our stay.

Ad always the hotel is very private, it needs some maintainance on public areas Perdonel es mostly great and attentive except the front desk staff at night we lost oor key and asked for a other one and Kenya very rudely mentioning if we lost it again they would charge for it i found that to be very rude her supervisor also like not carryng no smiles etc very bad experience Food is generally average at restaurants tabachin with the manager doing a excelents job we ordered seafood pasta and it just had two tiny shrips i think they should look more to try ti get better quality on food, cheese for the french fries like water and the restaurant pool manager also not ber attentive On the other hand miss antelma at the front desk wonderful as well ad the concierge at the pool exeptional service from bruno and edgar great and estela from pool bar Ac on room worked well but very noisy on level 3 and wasnt corrected No manager reached out to mention they were sorry or eatching for the key issue Generally very good but a lack of leadership caring for details

We recently stayed at Pierre Mundo Imperial for two nights, booking two Elite Garden Rooms.(Room 954) Unfortunately, the experience did not meet the expectations we had for a hotel of this category. To start, there was no hot water throughout our entire stay. While I understand that technical issues can occur, the situation worsened when one of the rooms developed a rainwater leak. I reported it immediately, expecting at least a sense of urgency or concern. Instead, the response was dismissive—staff acted as if it was a routine occurrence and treated my complaint as unimportant. Upon checkout, I showed a video of the leak to the front desk manager, who simply responded, “We’ll take a look at it,” with no apology, no acknowledgment of the inconvenience, and no attempt at compensation—not even a gesture like waiving resort fees or offering a coffee. Overall, this felt like an unreliable hotel with aging infrastructure and a management team that is either unempowered or unwilling to address major service failures. A disappointing stay that I would not recommend.

Benjamin treated us excellent at the front desk. He provided us the best service and help us during our whole stay. The breakfast was amazing, the food was so good and there where so many options to have. The service at the restaurant was great!
