Princess Mundo Imperial

We spent five wonderful days at this hotel in Acapulco, and overall, our experience was fantastic. It truly felt like a place where we could relax, enjoy the beautiful surroundings, and feel well taken care of. One of the absolute highlights was the Chula Vista breakfast restaurant. The service was consistently excellent, and I especially want to mention Mario, Noe, and Antonio. They are an amazing team—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, which was especially appreciated with my daughter, who is quite a picky eater! Their kindness and attention made our mornings something we genuinely looked forward to. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the location is simply stunning. The sea in this part of Acapulco is absolutely beautiful. It can be a little rough, but we actually enjoyed that, and the pools are fantastic. The combination of the beautiful ocean and wonderful pools makes it very easy to enjoy the hotel even when the sea is a little too rough. We also found that going into the sea later in the morning was perfectly enjoyable. There were a few minor issues with the room that are worth mentioning. The bathroom light was not working during our entire stay, and the cleaning staff frequently forgot to leave the bathroom rug. There was also no hairdryer in the room. When we requested one, we were provided with a hairdryer that only worked with cold air, which unfortunately was not very useful for drying our hair, particularly given the humidity in Acapulco. These are small things, but they would be relatively easy to improve and would make the overall experience even better. There were also a couple of things that could have been better regarding the service. At check-in, unfortunately, the reception staff did not make the best first impression. They were not particularly friendly, and after a long journey, that was a little disappointing. However, I have to mention that this was completely different from the experience we had afterward. A lovely lady from the hotel staff approached us at the pool and took the time to explain everything—from breakfast hours and hotel activities to all the information we needed. She was incredibly helpful and welcoming. Perhaps the reception team was simply under a lot of pressure that day. The other area that could use some improvement is the seafood restaurant on the beach. The service there was quite inconsistent, and unfortunately, on our visits we sometimes felt a little unwelcome. This was really the only part of the hotel experience that did not match the otherwise excellent level of service. Apart from these minor points, everything else was absolutely fantastic. We had a wonderful five days here and created some very beautiful memories. A special thank you again to Mario, Noe, and Antonio at Chula Vista for making us feel so well looked after. Your kindness and excellent service truly made a difference to our stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would be very happy to come back to Acapulco again!

We got the day pass and we had a wonderful experience. A hidden gem was the bar in the pool (behind a waterfall). Here we had a fantastic time. Yahaira was the kindest, friendliest waiter. She makes the most amazing negronis! Thanks for making this such a wonderful experience! 🤩

Arturo y Juan Carlos in Il Molino did an amazing job serving us our Italian meal. This was my favorite meal we had out of all 3 Mundo Imperial resorts and I highly recommend this restaurant and their service! We had the croquettes, the carbonara, filet, with tiramisu and the lava cake simply divine! When you go to Il Molino - Ask for Arturo y Juan Carlos — you will have a great experience.
