Amazing and beautiful hotel, the staff are friendly, a major thank you to Christina and Genesis for their great help and friendliness, and introducing us to tasty Mexican snacks and refreshments.

I could write a book on the problems and frustrations I experience with this hotel. I wouldn't return if I was paid to stay. 1. I asked repeatedly for a room that wasn't too high both before we arrived and at the desk. Plenty were available but the jerk at reception put us at the highest level. Finally after begging to move (we paid a premium for an ocean view) they put us too low to see anything more than a dirty construction site. After begging again, after throwing the 1st VERY expensive day in the garbage, they moved us a second time. One can't bring snacks nor drinks onto the property, only option is to pay $6 for a bottle of water or a can of beer. Can't use cash. Couldn't leave the room because the room safe didn't function. The 1st 24 hours were a nightmare just trying to settle in and trying to enjoy a normal vacation. Most employees were helpful but the guy at the (non-functioning elevator was an a'^hole. Never paid more for a worse experience in my life. There are many good comments online, maybe we just got really, really unlucky.
