Tivoli la Caleta Tenerife Resort

The hotel is undoubtedly very comfortable and stylish with beautiful pools and public spaces. Our room was large and well equipped. The housekeeping was OK rather than tip top ( half used milk portions not cleared, teapot left sitting with tea bag inside, no English breakfast tea when we arrived). Matters attended to when requested but needs not anticipated/ obvious missing not picked up on ). Catering : 1.bar prices are steep. Beer and spirits in particular. Wine is more reasonable....indeed we enjoyed the quality of the lowest priced Ribera and the lowest priced Rioja. 2.the Gusto buffet restaurant was a disappointment. It is firmly 4 star rather than 5 star. The food is if good quality but is very much " mass catering " rather than fine dining in any way. Remember it is supposed to be 5 stars. There were too many dishes sitting in keep warm casseroles which seem to sit and sit. A lack of , for example, carvery meat/poultry/game( indeed no sign of for example rabbit ...but there was goat one evening which was a very bony affair). Masses of pizza sitting out for extended periods ( better to put out little but often...) . Fresh cooked plancha meat and fish but not a good vegetable selection and repetitive soup ( gazpacho or cream of vegetables mostly). Overprovision of deserts but too few savoury starters in TT's view. So canteen like rather than restaurant like and without any real " premium;" feel sadly . Breakfast was done better though with most wishes catered for. Cava every day. Very good fresh fruit. Coffee machine inadequate.. Poolside restaurant "Guilty " is OK but overpriced. A Eur 13 taco was small, with very few prawns and lots of lettuce...they know its a poor helping but do nothing in reaction to a remark to that effect. I had reception deduct it on departure but they should review their offering for any egregious examples of bad value. Would TT return ? Likely not.

We have just returned from a wonderful week at the Tivoli and it was perfect. There was nothing that could have been done to improve our stay. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. The facilities were excellent.

The room and balcony and bathroom were very high standard. The food the breakfast and dinner buffet were excellent. However, service at breakfast and dinner was at times chaotic and a little lacking. The grounds were very attractive with several areas to choose from depending how busy you want the atmosphere. It felt a little like no one was in charge so a few lapses in service, including at check-in, at the restaurants and generally around the grounds where some maintenance issues had been neglected. It felt like it needed a bit more management checking everything was running as it should. It’s a lovely hotel, but for the price I would go for Bahia del Duque

I stayed here for 5 nights with my 14 year old son. We have stayed in the Bahia Del Duque before and 3 times in the Grand GF Costa. This hotel was better in every way. Firstly the location is great its and easy walk to La Caleta or Playa Del Duque. The rooms are fantastic, The pools are great and absolutely no reserving of sunbeds. There are waiters walking round the pool all day if you want a drink or food. The hotel has a nice sports bar and pool table which was enjoyable. A very enjoyable 5 days and I would highly recommend. Book direct and join their club and get money off on your bar bill etc on the next visit !

Tivoli Tenerife has truly become one of my favourite places to stay. I’ve been there three times already, and every visit feels like coming home. The staff are simply amazing, so friendly, kind, and genuinely attentive. They always go the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect. The hotel itself is beautiful and relaxing, the ideal spot to unwind and recharge. And I can’t forget to mention Elena, who gives the most incredible massages, she’s absolutely fantastic! I can’t wait to return again in November.
