Tivoli la Caleta Tenerife Resort

I have been here several times since I last posted about the Tivoli at La Caleta. Have been to Gran Canaria instead, several times in the last 12 months It is great to be back at the Tivoli. It is an excellent hotel resort in a lovely position and great pools and food. The breakfast is one of the best I have ever had. The really good change is that there is now no rubbish music being pumped round the hotel. It is quiet and peaceful. You can hear the waves just outside the hotel and the splashes from the pools. Wonderful The Customer Relations Manager Yaiza de la Rosa Ramo recognised me when I came into the hotel and gave us a great welcome. She has been the perfect host during our stay. Well to start I’m still in the hotel so not one of the what was it really like. We checked in on Sunday very nice and to be honest all the staff we have been in contact with first class..then you really need to go in to detail we booked this hotel based on reviews wish we had not. The food in the restaurants is ok but the same every night and not the greatest standard au like other reviews very limited options in my opinion and not to a so called 5 star resort. I really can’t see we’re the 5 star comes from room ok but dated all areas apart from the front desk in real need of a work over. It’s a very old hotel that needs a lot more work on it to the food I’m sorry but if people think this is 5 star I wonder we're they have travelled in the past. We booked half board not the best we have done. Room cleaned very well other areas well you will see. The food around the pool the best you will get. So sorry for such a poor review but someone needs to be honest

Fantastic! Lovely spacious relaxing hotel with lovely rooms and very comfortable beds. Fabulous pools. Staff amazing. Can't wait to return ❤️

Some hotels aspire to be 5 stars and never achieve it, some do but are not true 5 stars, the Tivoli is a proper 5 star resort as it’s the staff who make the difference. 5 star rating to all of them for making our stay a fabulous experience.

My first return to the hotel since it became part of the Tivoli chain, when the hotel was the Sheraton we stayed 13 times in six years. We loved the hotel then due to the location, the standard of the hotel and one of the main reasons we kept returning was the staff. So I was a little apprehensive about returning after to many happy memories, i needn’t have worried. The hotel facilities have been greatly improved and many of the Sheraton staff are still working there. I arrived for ten nights and was greeted warmly at reception and was shown to my room where some treats awaited. The hotel is spotless throughout and the room maids do any excellent job. I booked half-board and had most meals in Gusto the main restaurant, the food was very good and a different theme each night. I want to make a special mention to Elena who looked after me and was exceptional. I also tried one of the specialty rest, Seen, received a 30% discount with being on half-board. The food and atmosphere is incredible, well worth a visit. A special mention also to three of the waiters from Guilty pool bar, Joe, (been there years), Claudia and Guy. Guy is working there for a year as part of his college course, what a pleasure young man. The hotel was very busy whilst I was there at the end of September but the staff coped very well and I never had to wait too long for any requests. It’s a lovely hotel, not cheap but you get what you pay for, already planning the next trip. Thank you for a great experience.
