The whole experience from being greeting at the hotel to leaving was great. Service and friendliness of staff was not only of a high standard but genuine with their interactions with you. Historical tour of the hotel was very fascinating. View is spectacular and impressed with the innovation of ingredients with the Hardy’s Verandah dining experience.

A beautiful retreat in the Adelaide Hills, with stunning views, peaceful surroundings and a lovely atmosphere. Mustafa, the GM, was the best host — so warm, attentive and welcoming. He really made our stay special. Would happily return!

Simply outstanding place to stay, perfect for a special occasion. Staff, House & Food were all wonderful, 100% worth a visit. It kind of feels like you are visiting great friends in their big old cozy home. Not crowded, nice areas to relax with a drink in front of a fire, read a book, play billiards or just take in the view.

The conservatory is a gorgeous room to relax away some winter days. A light and airy space with extraordinary views to sit and read or relax. The bed was luxurious and comfortable and the room spacious will a selection of wonderful books to choose from. The rest of the facility is charming and warm, the library was a favourite area to sit and read and enjoy some home made biscuits. Warmed by a delightful single malt and the ever burning fire places it's such a welcoming area. We dined at both restaurants and loved each experience, elevated by exraordinary service from the knowledgeable and professional staff. The staffing level is amazing for a hotel of this size. Botique but with the level of staff you'd expect from a facility four times the size. Well Done Mt Lofty House.

We can’t speak highly enough of Mount Lofty House, especially as it was our first trip to Adelaide in over 22 years.. Having stayed in many of the world’s finest hotels, we can confidently say that Mount Lofty House ranks among the very best! The service , quality, dining experiences, and overall attention to detail was truly an outstanding experience. A special mention goes to Lachlan, Christopher, Will & Daniel who were impeccable throughout your stay and ensured that every moment was comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable. The spa experience was equally exceptional - Alison & the lovely therapist from Port Douglas provided one of the best couples massages we have ever had. Their professionalism, warmth and expertise made the experience unforgettable. Thank you to the entire team at Mount Lofty house for making our staff so memorable.
