A great place to stay and play golf

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

A superb hotel with very fine free breakfast, The golf coursed are excellent and in very good condition.Special thanks to Driss and Mohammed at the starters office, their service and help is first class. The hotel has only suites with views if either the pool or the golf course. The entire hotel is immaculately clean. The only negative is the restaurant food for dinner can sometimes be below par and the serving staff need some training in the correct way to serve and the need to be more attentive. Having said that, at breakfast the service is faultless. Overall I can give this hotel a very big thumbs up.

A Haven of Peace and Tranquility

We first saw this hotel in March of this year when we were playing at Golf de Soleil and thought it looked an oasis of calm in a beautiful setting and having just spent 10 days there we were not disappointed it was everything we thought it would be and more Beautiful interiors lovingly kept and looked after by amazing team who really take pride as if it was their own home The staff are charming and helpful nothing is too much effort for them genuine kindness and warmth The restaurant was very good and had the choice of Moroccan or International menus and a very good wine list too ! The Spa was the perfect place to relax in between rounds of golf I would recommend the hamman and massages This hotel would be perfect for guests who are looking for peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings and if you play golf then even better as Golf de Soleil is a step away. Excellent location for a golf break

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Excellent location for golfers. The hotel is in a quiet location approximately 25 mins from the airport with easy transfers/access. The booking in was friendly, quick and welcoming. The suite was well equipped with TV, WiFi, Fridge, AirC, shower & bath with a separate changing area. It was large in size with comfortable beds and seating area. The room overlooked the golf course although as a ground floor room it was a limited view from the balcony. Cleanliness was excellent and the cleaning staff were brilliant with it being cleaned daily. The hotel itself is quiet with a small but adequate pool and comfortable sun loungers. The hotel staff were friendly professional and attentive, Bar/dinner service was excellent especially at breakfast and Dinner where the food was of a great quality and varied with enough variety on the menu. On the downside There is limited entertainment and the Spa was disappointing with no sauna/jacuzzi working The golf course itself was excellent with the championship course and Tikida in excellent condition, fantastic greens & fairways oh and a lovely clubhouse to use all within a free 5 mins golf buggy ride away from reception. On the poor side was the golf/shop caddie master did not start with until 8am and were normally late ! This was disappointing as there was nowhere to purchase range balls/drinks/snacks etc before teeing off. Overall an excellent location for golf and a quiet break away in the Moroccan sunshine.

Golf break

We stayed at Tikida for 4 nights golf and it was fabulous. The staff can’t do enough for you. Spotlessly clean, such a tranquil atmosphere. No entertainment or big nights out but we didn’t want that! Rooms were incredible, lovely breakfast. The golf courses are a short golf buggy ride or a nice 10 minute walk. We took the free shuttle bus to the sister hotel and spent the afternoon in the resort of Agadir. Last shuttle bus back is 18.30 but that was fine for us. We will definitely be returning.

Amazing and relaxing stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

I had a wonderful stay at Tikida Golf Hotel. The room was spacious and always kept spotless, with fresh roses in the bathroom each day – such a lovely touch. The pool area was beautiful, and I appreciated the unlimited fresh towels. Everyone at the hotel was warm and welcoming, which made the experience even more special. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of hot and cold dishes, fresh breads, morning cakes, and the sweetest fresh orange juice. Both indoor and outdoor seating areas were available, including a lovely spot overlooking the duck pond. The only improvement I’d suggest would be offering a shuttle service from the city later at night. The current last return time of 6:30 pm feels too early, especially in a city with such a vibrant nightlife. One thing to note is that in addition to the tourist tax, there’s also a local tax based on the hotel’s star rating – for us, it was about 80 dirhams per day, so it’s worth factoring into your budget. Overall, a beautiful and relaxing stay – I’d happily return.
