This isn't our first time at Domes, and we continue to enjoy our visits. But I'd like to draw attention to the chef at Tolos. Does he taste the food he prepares? He takes quality ingredients and simply ruins them. Examples: fried meat and fish are completely dry, octopus with avocado mousse is so sour it's inedible, and the same goes for shrimp. This chef is a disgrace and a disaster. The waiters also don't do their job. Plates are cleared very rarely. The tables are small, and if there are four of you, you'll be surrounded by dirty dishes.

Our first visit to Crete. We could not have chosen a better location. We stayed in a family suite, sea view and own pool. An perfect place to relax.

Great resort hotel, the restaurants and food were excellent. The beach areas were private with a choice of adult only, same for the pools. But the best thing was the friendliness of the staff, all excellent! The guys that drove you around in the big golf buggies were a good laugh and always remembered were you were going. Great people!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at Domes of Elounda was truly unforgettable. The resort itself is outstanding. The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the atmosphere is both romantic and incredibly relaxing. Despite the hotel being very busy during our stay, it never once felt rushed or overcrowded. Everything seemed to run seamlessly behind the scenes, creating a calm and luxurious experience throughout. What really makes this resort exceptional is the people. From the staff coordinating guest arrivals at the front entrance to the housekeeping team providing evening turndown service, every member of staff we encountered was warm, professional, and attentive. The service was flawless. I must admit that on arrival I was feeling tired, grumpy, and exhausted after travelling. We had also been informed by our booking agent that we would be receiving a different room, so I was initially disappointed. However, the concierge team handled the situation with professionalism, empathy, and genuine care. They listened, explained everything clearly, and did everything they could to assist. A special mention must go to Petros (apologies if I have misspelled his name) and the concierge team. During our stay, my partner injured his back. The team immediately sprang into action and arranged for him to visit an excellent chiropractor in a nearby town the very next morning. The treatment worked wonders and provided significant relief. The level of care didn’t stop there. Back at the resort, the spa team arranged a follow-up massage a couple of days later and continued checking in to make sure he was recovering well. What started as a slightly disappointing arrival quickly turned into an experience that exceeded our expectations. The combination of outstanding service, genuine care, and a beautiful location made this a truly five-star stay. We would absolutely return to Domes of Elounda in the future—although next time, we might treat ourselves to a room with a private pool!
