We had an amazing time at the beach bar, but what truly made our experience unforgettable was Lambis. His name in Greek means “full of light,” and honestly, it couldn’t be more fitting—he absolutely shines. Without a shadow of a doubt, Lambis deserves the award for the happiest person you’ll ever meet. His smile is constant, genuine, and comes straight from the heart. His positive attitude is contagious, and he brings such a beautiful energy to the whole place. He’s truly a breath of fresh air in an already fantastic beach setting. The beach bar itself is wonderful—the service is excellent, and all the staff behind the bar are friendly and attentive. But Lambis stands out in the most special way. He’s not just doing his job; he’s lifting the entire atmosphere with his presence. Thank you for making our time there so memorable—we’ll definitely be back!

I do not generally leave reviews but feel that I have to for this hotel. It is an amazing place, and the main reason for this are the staff. They are truly outstanding. Firstly Maria, the very pretty concierge, who was friendly, informative and was happy to have a chat about anything. Very helpful and good fun who obviously cared about her guests stay. Secondly, Elena, receptionist, who again was happy to chat and have a laugh at any time. So friendly and helpful, it was a pleasure to see her every morning and someone I am happy to have met. Thirdly, Eleni, restaurant reservations. I sat and chatted with Eleni every day about anything!! Greek religion, life, her upcoming trip to Asia etc. Again, making a gust feel so welcome. All the staff in the restaurants were also amazing, Georgie at breakfast and the lady who got my olive oil every morning! I cannot remember all the names but all staff were so good. The buggy guys were brilliant. We had such a laugh together and I am sure they were worried I would take a buggy for a spin lol!! The hotel itself is paradise. I was in the adults only section which was perfect. Quiet, secluded and very comfortable. Room was large, airy and a perfect view of Spinalonga. Food was great, Makris the standout restaurant. Amazing food and the service brilliant from the Arsenal Fan manager (sorry forgot name!) and sommelier who is a great guy. Being a solo traveller was not a problem and I think the staff recognised this and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. Another plus point. This was the perfect holiday and I would highly recommend this hotel. I promised to come back in October to celebrate Elenas birthday , so will see you then. Thank you for a great time.

The Kids Club at Domes of Elounda was absolutely wonderful during our stay! Eleni and her team did a fantastic job with our 2.5-year-old toddler. Every day he came back from the club excited to show us all the activities and crafts they had made. One day they even went out to pick herbs and flowers, which he absolutely loved and talked about for hours afterwards. The activities were thoughtful, creative and really engaging for the children. Every member of the team was incredibly kind, warm and attentive. We truly felt our son was in the best hands. Honestly, we almost wished we could stay longer just so he could keep going to the Kids Club! Overall, we had a fantastic experience at the hotel. Even though the weather was unfortunately quite bad during our stay, the management and staff did their absolute best to accommodate us and make sure we still enjoyed our holiday. Everyone was incredibly friendly, the facilities were wonderful, and the beach and amenities are perfectly tailored for families. The food was also incredible, with a huge variety of salads, local specialties and international dishes. A truly fantastic experience and I would highly recommend it for families!

I had the pleasure of celebrating my sixtieth birthday with my multigenerational family, ranging from ages 2 to 74, at Domes of Elounda. Before making a reservation, I inquired about options and was offered a four-bedroom, four-bathroom luxury residence. This spacious and private setting was perfect for accommodating all of us comfortably. The resort’s wonderfully furnished interconnected living spaces boasted two connected pools, providing ample space for relaxation and enjoyment. From the moment we arrived until our checkout, the friendly and helpful staff ensured that we had a wonderful experience. My private birthday dinner, arranged by Pantelis, was truly unforgettable. The entire staff went above and beyond to ensure that we were never without a drink or a delicious dish. The Sommelier Angelos expertly selected wines that complemented the delectable grilled fish and an array of appetizers. It was a remarkable feat to accommodate dietary restrictions, preferences, and allergies while maintaining the deliciousness of each course. While the Tholos buffet can be quite lively and sometimes dark and hot, the food selections are always impressive. The staff takes great care in accommodating allergies, ensuring that everyone can enjoy delicious meals. We explored the beautiful beach, took a thrilling speedboat ride to Spinalonga (a must-do), and visited the olive oil tasting, where we discovered great products at half the price of duty-free. Everyone had a fantastic time, which was exactly what I had hoped for. The five-year-old particularly enjoyed the kids’ club and visited it most days. The haute living lounge was also a great spot for mid-afternoon drinks and snacks, and the concierge there was incredibly helpful. There wasn’t a single aspect of our stay that could have been improved, except for the weather on the last one and a half days. Nonetheless, I want to express my deepest gratitude to all the staff for making our birthday week an unforgettable and memorable experience for everyone.

We were a little bit nervous about our first holiday with a ten month old, but Domes of Elounda was absolutely perfect for it. There were a couple of factors that really drove this: - What set it apart was the staff - they were so consistently good with us and our little one and this really made our trip. I’d like to specifically called out Demetria in the Tholos Buffet and Kelly at Guest Services - this is a hotel where everyone is very, very good, but they were truly exceptional. - Many other guests were also there with little ones, and so it created a nice atmosphere. (Note: There is separation for those here as adults, but I should note not as much as other hotels we’ve been at which may be a factor for those considering adults only. Plus: - Food was excellent at buffet, with plenty of choice for even young kids. - Lovely staff - Beautiful beach and views. - Comfortable and safe room for baby. - Domes experiences were really good. - Spa was excellent - Several nice surprises given on our stay A couple of notes that did not impact our holiday enough to drop score but worth mentioning: - Main pools were supposed to be heated according to the website. We couldn’t tell! - The hotel is effectively on two sides of a large hill. As fit people with a buggy it required effort to get up and over but we enjoyed the exercise, but others may not. The hotel counters this with golf carts for transport which were largely quick when summoned. - Taxi’s to get out of the hotel and explore more widely were challenging, especially requiring a baby car seat. - The app to make bookings is a good idea in theory but was temperamental in practice. Thanks for a lovely trip which we’ll have some very special memories of.
