Domes of Elounda, Autograph Collection, Crete

We have visited Crete on a number of occasions, but this time our visit was completely perfect. The staff were incredibly helpful, the food was sublime and varied, hot and tasty. Our suite was incredibly comfortable and well equipped. We would recommend this hotel and we will return. Thank you to all.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Domes of Elounda. This is a truly beautiful resort, and we loved our time at our 6 person villa. Amenities: - Several amazing pools to choose from, with plenty of space and sun loungers, with some more family friendly and others quiet and adult only, all with lovely bars. - Gorgeous beach with water sports centre and beach bar. - Great restaurants to choose from, including buffet style and fine dining. Buffet choice was varied and tasty, with something for everyone. Breakfast can get quite busy from 10am onwards with some waiting required for tables, but this is minor! - ‘Haute Living Area’, which is the exclusive bar/food section for Villas, is fantastic with amazing unlimited food and drinks to choose from. A really lovely space to relax! The spirits are released at 6pm, with wine/fizz/ beers only being available beforehand - I would say this time could be brought forward, however when we requested access to spirits they brought us what we needed which was very kind. - Mini supermarket on site that sells water, other essentials which is very helpful, if not a bit expensive but that’s to be expected. Villa: - Amazing aircon across the site. We had some issues with the aircon not working in one of our rooms, but this was addressed as speedily as possible and when it got up and running it was great. - Very regular towel and bedding changes, with all rooms and private pool immaculately cleaned. - Lovely shampoos, soaps, hairdryers, irons etc in all rooms - A washing machine would be a good addition to these villas. - Again, a very minor note, the villa did need some small maintenance during our stay, such as a shower door coming off the hinges. This couldn’t be fixed during our stay due to a lack of replacement door, but the resort arranged a courtesy boat trip for us as a result and this was a very kind gesture. Staff: - All the staff are extremely friendly, attentive and helpful across the site, from reception staff, to club car drivers, to bar staff, to restaurant staff. - They can’t do enough to help you, and definitely make the Domes of Elounda a very special place to stay! - A WhatsApp group was set up between ourselves and hotel staff, to make sure our every need was looked after. The responses were very quick and extremely helpful and this made our stay very comfortable! Atmosphere / Location - Gorgeous views around the whole site of Spinalonga, with very quick access to Plaka and Elounda which are must visits. - Very quick and easy access to taxis and transport to alternative locations. - A very family friendly and orientated resort, however areas for adults only that are much quieter which is always nice to have the option of. - Some very cute cats around the resort that are very fussed over and are absolutely adorable! Overall, we had a truly fantastic stay here and will absolutely be visiting again. Thank you to everyone who looked after us and made it such a wonderful stay!

We have just spent a week here. A completely incredible hotel, with beautiful beach area and pools. There is so much space that even in high season none of the areas feel overly busy. The rooms have everything you would want or need, and are looked after twice a day everyday by lovely housekeeping service, thank you Butterfly and team. For us the most important thing is their ability to cater for our coeliac daughter. The team could not have been better. Thank you particularly to Vassilis and Georgia who every breakfast took an order from our daughter and her GF food came out promptly and was delicious. Every single restaurant has been fabulous, with clear understanding of cross contamination etc. They all had plenty of GF options, but would also explain what they could make GF with some changes. We’ve never stayed anywhere better for a coeliac diet.

The perfect place for couples and families. The rooms are at a high level of design. The location is perfect ! The cleanliness and the quality of services are awesome ! Third year here and still amazing as the first day !

The best hotel we have visit. The beach is an amazing privet paradise and the hotel is worth every penny!!! The food is amazing the cocktails incredible and the staff very professional.thank you very much Michalis kafousis
