The Oberoi Amarvilas, Agra

This hotel is beyond magnificent from the palatial entry to the pool area that rivals any palace. The rooms are comfortable and spacious and our view of the Taj was extra special. Located in beautiful gardens and park like lawns the property is a comfortable walking distance to the Taj and yet seems so peaceful amid the hustle and bustle of one of the worlds most sought after tourist experiences. Staff were amazing and we felt like VIPs the whole stay. Would recommend saving up for this experience when you plan to visit Agra and the Taj - it is absolutely worth it.

To call this the nicest hotel I've ever stayed at truly would not do it justice. It was absolutely spectacular. The most beautiful building and grounds, pristinely kept with incredible views of the Taj. But that wasn't even the best part. The staff gave hospitality a new definition. Truly the warmest, kindest, most genuine people I could imagine. They took amazing care of us. The whole experience was worth every penny.

The Taj Mahal is exceptional. This magnificent monument exceeds expectations and to see it from every window of this luxurious hotel enhances the experience. We were enveloped in a cloud of luxury from the minute we arrived. We booked the sunrise tour of the Taj Mahal and we were super lucky to have Sandeep as our guide. Not only did he fix a hiccup with our booking (our fault) he also took exceptional photos and videos for us. He guided us with skill, knowledge and friendliness. A first class experience. Thank you

We were delighted to stay overnight there. Fantastic, amazing, stunning views, excellent service from every single member of the staff. It doesn't mayyer whether they work in the kitchen, dinner room, cleaning service,... And what to say about the bedrooms: they are dreamy rooms with all you need and a lot of them facing the Taj Mahal.

Once again we have been blown away by the Oberoi, this is the best hotel chain in the world! We have booked their exotic vacation tour and have stayed in 4 of their hotels in India whilst visiting the country on a special occasion. Every single hotel has been fantastic, the Oberoi team organised everything for us and this has been a truly unforgettable experience. The Oberoi in Agra is just fabulous, the location is unbelievable with a direct view to the Taj Mahal from your room. The hotel is beautiful and the staff is phenomenal, so friendly, so kind, so attentive, and so eager to make this special for us. We have left with a very warm heart and very fond memories. Our heartfelt thanks for such an incredible time.
