The Oberoi Amarvilas, Agra

The place is beautiful and the views of the Taj Mahal are great but what makes The Oberoi Amarvilas stand out is the service. They anticipate every need react quickly. They treat every guest like a VIP. In fact several times during our stay my friends and I said to each other "do they think we're someone else? A VIP?" No, that's just the way they treat you! Please stay here, they are wonderful.

Our stay was highlighted by great views of the Taj, beautifully decorated and spacious rooms, and an outstanding staff. From the front desk to room service and the kitchen team, the service was truly excellent and always helpful. Conveninent transoport facility to Taj mahal is great! The only downside was the dining. While the breakfast buffet offered a great selection, lunch and dinner items we ordered fell short of expectations—especially considering the Michelin-star price tag.

We visited this place on our way to the Taj Mahal. The lunch was spot on. Staff were amazing and the food matched it. Every dish we had was just delicious and we had views of the Taj Mahal whilst eating. The hotel really went the extra mile by taking us down to the Taj Mahal entrance via golf buggy and then suppling us with an umbrella to help keep us in the shade. On our way back, golf buggy took us back to the hotel entrance and we were greeted by the staff with cold towels and water. Such a nice and welcome touch. Would definitely consider staying here when we next visit Agra.

Every single detail of my stay was flawlessly executed under his care. Another standout highlight of the trip was my Taj Mahal tour, thanks to the tour guide assigned to me by the hotel, **Mr. Muzamil**. He was absolutely exceptional—super helpful, highly professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. His insights truly enriched my visit and made the experience seamless. If you are planning a trip to Agra, The Oberoi Amarvilas is an absolute must. Thank you to Arpan, Mr. Muzamil, and the entire team for maintaining such impeccable standards of luxury hospitality. Our stay at The Oberoi Amarvilas was truly unforgettable and one of the highlights of our time in India. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, and seeing the Taj Mahal from our room was an incredible experience. Traveling to the Taj with my partner made it even more special. The location is perfect, and the hotel provided a buggy service that took us right to the entrance area early in the morning, making our sunrise visit very easy and comfortable. A special thank you to Abhay, who kindly guided and assisted us throughout our stay. His warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made us feel genuinely welcomed. The food was exceptional. Everything we had for both breakfast and dinner was delicious, and the service was outstanding. We also loved spending time by the beautiful pool and exploring the gorgeous hotel grounds. As a wonderful surprise, the hotel presented us with a framed photo and a small elephant gift before we left. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made our stay even more memorable.
