Throughout the stay, the hotel surprised us with small treats and thoughtful gestures at every step, which made the whole experience feel personal and special. One of the most touching moments was when the team created a customised pillow cover with my son’s name on it. This gesture meant so much to us — it wasn’t just hospitality; it was pure love. My son felt so happy and valued. Before we left for our journey to Vrindavan, the staff even packed fresh fruits for us at no additional cost, just to ensure we were comfortable on the way. These small acts of kindness truly set Amarvilas apart. Our package included breakfast and dinner, but since it was our anniversary, the hotel graciously offered us a complimentary lunch as well. They also surprised us with a beautiful anniversary cake, both in the restaurant and later in our room. When we returned to our room, we were honestly speechless — it was decorated like a honeymoon suite, with roses, candles, and warm romantic touches. Special Mention: Our Tour Guide, Mr. Kishore ✨ A huge part of what made our trip extraordinary was our registered Taj Mahal guide, Mr. Kishore, arranged through Oberoi Amarvilas. Kishore is truly the best guide and photographer we could have ever asked for. He is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, warm, and deeply passionate about the history of the Taj Mahal. He explained every detail beautifully and kept my 10-year-old son engaged throughout the tour — which is not easy, but he did it with such charm and friendliness. But the biggest highlight was his photography skills. Kishore took the most classy, natural, perfectly angled, and professional-looking pictures of our family. From natural walking shots to perfect couple angles, he guided us like a true professional photographer — yet this was simply part of the hotel’s service. He took care of everything, ensured we avoided crowds, and made the entire Taj Mahal experience smooth, effortless, and incredibly memorable. We had requested Kishore in advance, and the hotel arranged everything seamlessly. Hiring him was one of the best decisions of our trip. The combination of Oberoi’s exceptional hospitality and Kishore’s outstanding guidance and photography made this trip truly unforgettable for our family. From the personalised touches to the luxury experiences, from the anniversary celebrations to the beautifully organised guided tour — everything was beyond perfect. We recently stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The stay was nothing short of a dream … everything right from the entrance till exit was so special. The property is ofcourse gorgeous with views of the Taj from most rooms and balconies. We had a room on the 3rd floor with a view of the Taj such that it felt like we could almost touch it. The spa, the restaurants, poolside everything was classy and luxurious We also went for a morning visit to the Taj which was arranged by the hotel staff Special mention of Aditi who graciously showed us around and clicked our pictures Overall a memory forever .. will recommend for all. Will definitely go back again soon
