Blown away!!

I’ve been to many hotels professionally and otherwise and Hacienda was the most beautiful, friendliest and interesting of them all. The staff can’t ever do enough for you. The rooms are individually unique and beautifully decorated. Without question, the most beautiful boutique hotel you will ever visit.

An Unforgettable Oasis in the Foothills of the Sierra Madre Mountains

Haciendas de los Santos is an absolute gem—an oasis of peace, beauty, and charm tucked away in the magical town of Álamos, Mexico. Located in the foothills of the Sierra Madre Mountains, the property is both luxurious and inviting, with lush gardens, quiet courtyards, and beautifully preserved architecture that captures the spirit of colonial Mexico. The fact that it is driving distance from Arizona adds to the experience. The hospitality here is truly exceptional. Every member of the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for, creating an experience that felt both personal and unforgettable. The proprietors, Nancy and Jim, have outdone themselves with their vision of this extraordinary hotel/spa. Whether we were relaxing by the pool or enjoying a drink in the cantina with over 500 varieties of tequila, every moment was memorable. If you're looking for a place to unwind, reconnect, and experience authentic Mexican elegance, Haciendas de los Santos is it. We’re already planning our next visit.

Alamos Mexico and the Hacienda

This resort is about the nicest we have been to in all of our travels. Clean, very nice staff, beautiful rooms, in a great little colonial town. If traveling to Mexico this will become your number one destination. We flew in with a light plane and were picked up at the airport. Short ride through town to the Hacienda. Great friendly safe town that you can walk in without any hassel. Not a lot of T-Shirt shops or people trying to sell you stuff. Would rate this stay a 10 out of 10.

An Absolute Jewel Like No Other

The Hacienda de Los Santos is a fabulous resort/hotel in every way. I just visited this week for the third time and like the other two could not be more impressed with the facility, the people and the food. It’s without a doubt the highlight of my travel in the year! Do yourself a favor, visit and enjoy the incredible experience Jim and Nancy Swickard have put together since they started renovating the 17th century Hacienda 40 years ago. You will never regret it!

A True Mexican Sonoran Resort

Resorts don’t get much more accommodating than this one. Set in a seventeenth century colonial town the resort blends into the style of the architecture surrounding it. With 32 unique styled guest rooms, all are adorned with antique pieces from the region. Sit back and enjoy the ambience. 4 pools, a theater, a 1600’s replica church, a tequila bar with 500 flavors, a gourmet restaurant, all spread over a few acres of gorgeous grounds.
