Hacienda de Los Santos

Love this place and visit often. My Bday get away was a magical experience!! The grounds and decor are beautiful and transport you to another place in time. The service and attention were exceptional!! I was upgraded to a suite as a Bday gift!!! Fernando at the front desk was amazingly helpful not to mention the waiters and ground keepers. I will return but highly doubt my next visit will top this one ❤️

My wife, our two young children, and I had such a wonderful stay at Hacienda de los Santos. From the moment we arrived, everyone made us feel genuinely welcome and completely at home. We flew ourselves into Álamos, and the experience for pilots was exceptional. Hacienda de los Santos has its own hangar, and when we landed, the team was already there waiting for us. They helped us get settled and allowed us to park the airplane safely inside the hangar during our stay. They also offer a special discount for guests who fly in, which was a very thoughtful touch. Jim Swickard, the owner, came out personally to greet us and could not have been nicer. He was incredibly gracious and generous with his time, and before we left he gave me a signed copy of his book, which I have really been enjoying. The property itself is beautiful and full of character. My wife had an excellent massage, the kids loved the pools and the cinema, and we all thought the food was terrific. Most of all, the entire staff was exceptionally kind. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. It is rare to find a hotel that feels this distinctive and special while also being so warm and personal. Our only regret is that we stayed just one night — we really wish we had given ourselves more time there. Thank you to Jim and the entire Hacienda de los Santos team for such a memorable stay. We had a lovely, lovely time and very much hope to return.

Hacienda de los Santos is, without question, the most peaceful, clean, and delightful resort hotel I have ever visited in my country. From the moment we arrived, we felt surrounded by beauty, tranquility, and genuine hospitality. We spent our summer vacation in Sonora and also celebrated my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary, making the trip especially meaningful for our family. The hotel provided the perfect setting for such a special occasion — elegant, relaxing, and full of charm. What truly makes Hacienda de los Santos exceptional is its people. The service is outstanding, and every staff member we met was warm, attentive, and incredibly kind. The amazing people who work at Hacienda de los Santos made us feel welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. The grounds are immaculate, the atmosphere is serene, and every detail reflects pride and care. It is a place where you can truly slow down, reconnect with loved ones, and create lifelong memories. My husband and I stayed 2 nights for the second time at this lovely, beautiful, friendly resort. We enjoyed the grounds, the staff, the service the room and the spa. I highly recommend this for a romantic get away!

This resort is not like a sterile 5 star hotel. It's chalked full of character. They invented the word "accommodating." Only 32 rooms in this sprawling property set in the middle of a colonial 1600's village. Safe and friendly. For you pilots this is definitely a sanctuary with a 5,000' hard surface runway only a mile from the resort. A little further south is the famous copper canyon. You'll strike up a conversation with a stranger here and gain a friend. Truly a remarkable place to enjoy life and relax.
