Stunning hotel. Beautiful decor and facilities. Has a calm atmosphere allowing total relaxation. Pool lovely and quiet and no rush for sunbeds/ no early reserving as the towel staff weren’t there until after breakfast. Access to the beach is via a stunning walkway (many stairs). Was there for my 40th birthday and arrived to a cake in the room and another one on my actual birthday. Will definitely be back! My only negative is that two different parties played their own music by the pool one day on a speaker and I felt like this should have been stopped by a member of staff. Luckily they didn’t stay for long

This is our third visiting to this lovely and relaxing Resort. To celebrate 1 year since we’ve been there in July last year we are planning to coming back in September. This time we’ve got a wonderful sea view for the all week. We had an amazing time enjoy the pool everyday, beach and little trips around the city. The room was very tide, clean, spacious and the service absolutely stunning by the lovely Housekeeping Rose and Sabitry which I’d like to share they are very professional and hope this feedback reach them as last time I had some feedback but the staff didn’t hear about anything. Hope this they will. I’ve spoke with one of the managers about the gym. It is very spacious it could fit more machine kind of leg press and more weighs. The heat in the was unbearable. 07:00am as I used to training was already hot and later on in the afternoon is even worse. I mentioned that last year but nothing has taken serous improvement. The air conditioning doesn’t work there properly maybe is because is too big but I mentioned to located or place some big fan around that will probably be much better. I saw lots of guests complain about that hope this feed can reach the management to do something as a regular customer I know that needs improvements. The breakfast is one of the best I’ve ever seen. The staff are very knowledgeable and proactive, Fabricia always there with a big smile. Some people has been changed but they kept the high service provided by Jacky, Tommy and Manog. We had dinner some of the days and room service all very nice. The price is a bit higher compare to other places despite food and service are great. The roof top offered free drinks around 05:15pm and the view is a paradise. We are looking forward to coming back soon and hope they will be waiting for us with a very warm welcome 🤗

The Kimpton Atlantico delivers exactly what you'd hope for: a relaxing pool-centered resort with easy beach access. The room was a highlight — extremely quiet, and the blackout curtains made it genuinely dark, which made for excellent sleep. A couple of minor gripes. The room doors have no mechanism to prevent them from slamming shut, so you will occasionally hear a bang as arriving guests discover this the hard way. It's a small but recurring annoyance on what is otherwise a very nice room, and this seems fixable. The hotel also plays music everywhere, which felt unnecessary and worked against the peaceful atmosphere the property otherwise cultivates well. The on-site restaurants are also rather expensive, though this probably comes with the territory, and since a handful of more casual options are within walking distance (but I'm not sure many people realize that), you're not obligated to use them. Finally, I noticed a few 1-star reviews on TripAdvisor, which I genuinely can't understand. Some complaints center on the staff, but I found them perfectly fine. Unless your expectations are extraordinarily high, I can't see how this place warrants one star. Bottom line: I was happy, I enjoyed it, and I'd recommend it.

Excellent resort. Well run, well staffed, kind, friendly staff, nice rooms, good amenities and great restaurants.

Pretty awful staff / service all round. We stayed for 5 nights here. Prior to arrival we were asked whether we needed assistance with transport from the airport & also whether there was an occasion for our visit. I replied enquiring about transport options from the airport however got no response. I also noted my partner & I had just got engaged & had booked this trip to celebrate. Absolutely no acknowledgment of this at all. Staff all round were useless. Nobody from the pool bar clears any food, so the dirty plates sit around all day causing seagulls to hover & even jump onto peoples loungers. There were plates sitting round for hours & a seagull took a slice of pizza & dropped it in the pool. We flagged this to the pool bar staff who said they would send maintenance but nobody came. As a result, guests had to fish out soggy bits of pizza from the pool, ridiculous for a 5 star hotel. Similarly we had some issues with our room. It smelled like pee & we reported this with front of house who said they would send maintenance however again nobody from maintenance showed up. The cleaners left a dirty pillowcase (that wasn’t ours) in our bathroom area which was clearly being used for cleaning & it had brown stains all over it. This was left on top of some of my clothing which was absolutely disgusting. Honestly, the only good thing about this place is the poolside & the refurbished interior. Would suggest a re-haul of staff as everyone seems pretty incompetent & incapable of providing basic service never mind for a 5 star hotel.
