Vila Vita Parc Resort & Spa

Beautiful resort with lots of activities and amenities. Staff were very friendly and service was excellent. My only recommendation to the resort would be to build a gym that is bigger and has a view of the water. While the gym had a decent amount of equipment, it was crammed into a small room, especially for a resort that size.

Beautiful resort with gorgeous gardens , fountains, swimming pools and beach access. Multiple restaurants with gourmet cuisines including Ocean, a Michelin 2 star restaurant. Many land and sea activities for adults and children. Service was friendly, warm and attentive.

One of the worst hotels I have stayed at in years. I will never stay at this hotel again or would recommend it to anybody else. The hotel sells its self as family friendly!! It’s far from family friendly and more focused on adults or small groups. We stayed as a family with friends. Made all arrangements months in advance regarding restaurants booking etc as we were a Groupe of 8. Not once was our booking available for the time we booked for or the table size we requested, we would simple be told on arrival the table is not Available. Made to wait and sit on separate tables. Hotel policy apparently . We had the same experience every morning for breakfast. Being told we do sit tables of 8. One meal we never actually got to eat ! We soon learned that they run some kind of class system or ( if you tip / look after members of staff) items become available, we discovered this whilst trying to get buggies to move round the resort, go to the pool or restaurant, wait for ages, told they are not available only to see others being able to get one. Provide a tip and funny they became available. Same for the pool cabanas, was told they were fully booked all week. Provide a tip and the next day we were given one every day for the rest of the holiday. With the exception of a few hotel staff the staff came across that they were doing you a favour if they were asked to do something for you. I should have predicted this upon arrival . we arrived and the two staff members outside made no effort to help my, wife or two young daughters remove there cases from the car. Stood there and watched me unload them. Not what you would expect from a 5 star hotel that has won awards ! The night before I left I asked reception if I could speak to the manger. I was asked why time I was leaving the next day and that he would contact me or meet me in reception before I left. As predicted he did not and was nowhere to be seen. I will be returning to the Algarve as it’s a stunning place. However I will be staying in one of the other amazing hotels the Algarve has to offer. One that looks after and treats its guest as they should be treated.

The grounds are beautiful, the staff are very attentive and friendly and the number of restaurants on offer is superb. We will definitely be returning. It feels like there is a lot of space and although the hotel I am sure was very busy as it was August it did not feel busy in the restaurants or by the pool. A huge difference to other hotels , space is premium and works a treat at this hotel. Another huge factor is the adult only area accommodation and pool area. Such a great idea especially when your kids are older and you prefer a quieter holiday. Five stars for that fabulous idea, it works really well and helps maintain the exclusivity of the hotel. The number of staff around the hotel is incredible especially around the pool and in all the restaurants the service is outstanding and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Vila Vita Parc is a great way to begin or end a visit to Portugal. The property is beautiful and conducive to activity or relaxation. Be sure to make restaurant reservations well in advance as space is limited, especially at the beach club. Study options before you arrive to take advantage of all that is offered. We hope to return.
