Hotel Quinta Do Lago

EXCELLENT. Great staff. Great restaurants both poolside and for breakfast / evening meal. Great location for beach and lengthy walks. Great De-tox massage. Restaurant and Spa treatment prices very reasonable for the quality. Hotel will organize you car transfer within minutes if you want to venture further afield, we did but we missed the hotel and the quality.

A lovely hotel in a great location - just a short walk to the Ria Formosa and its coastal walks. Our only gripe would be that the gardens are very lacking in colour. Perhaps the sustainability measures in place prevent any watering that would be required for bedding plants? The room was bright, comfortable and clean. Service was very good without being intrusive. We did not have dinner as there was nothing that took our fancy for that evening. Lovely views from the breakfast/dining room.

We stayed Thursday night at this superb hotel, that deserves to be on the Leading Hotels of the World. Friendly staff with a smile at desk, in the bar, in breakfast room and even at the entrance. They genuinely want you to have a good time. Large rooms that are very well equipped and fully carpeted, something rarely seen in the Med. Little touches that make the place special are things such as free shoe shine overnight, by putting your shoes in a little box to leave at the door. Complimentary half bottle of superb Port, candles and matches in the bathroom to make a nice bath for my wife. Free waters in the mini bar. Breakfast was superb, probably the best poached eggs I ever had. Great choices for everyone, even a gluten free corner. It really is a treat. Not cheap but you get what you pay for, and it is worth the little extra. Back in a week's time and looking forward to it already!

The location is very quiet with super views, fantastic atmosphere with very friendly staff, rooms are very comfortable and clean, good value for the services provided

Hotel Quinta Do Lago is exceptional in every way. Beautiful location, exceptional facilities, stunning views out over Ria Formosa National Park, three amazing golf courses and truly outstanding service throughout our stay. Not only did it meet all our expectations, it exceeded them. We had an amazing five days here, and highly recommend it to anyone seeking the ultimate golfing holiday in the Algarve.
