Hotel Quinta Do Lago

We stayed Thursday night at this superb hotel, that deserves to be on the Leading Hotels of the World. Friendly staff with a smile at desk, in the bar, in breakfast room and even at the entrance. They genuinely want you to have a good time. Large rooms that are very well equipped and fully carpeted, something rarely seen in the Med. Little touches that make the place special are things such as free shoe shine overnight, by putting your shoes in a little box to leave at the door. Complimentary half bottle of superb Port, candles and matches in the bathroom to make a nice bath for my wife. Free waters in the mini bar. Breakfast was superb, probably the best poached eggs I ever had. Great choices for everyone, even a gluten free corner. It really is a treat. Not cheap but you get what you pay for, and it is worth the little extra. Back in a week's time and looking forward to it already!

The location is very quiet with super views, fantastic atmosphere with very friendly staff, rooms are very comfortable and clean, good value for the services provided

Hotel Quinta Do Lago is exceptional in every way. Beautiful location, exceptional facilities, stunning views out over Ria Formosa National Park, three amazing golf courses and truly outstanding service throughout our stay. Not only did it meet all our expectations, it exceeded them. We had an amazing five days here, and highly recommend it to anyone seeking the ultimate golfing holiday in the Algarve.

Have stayed here for the second time, as part of a golf trip. I find the hotel exceptionally good - in terms of service quality, efficiency and friendliness. The only meal that I have had there has been breakfast, which has been very good. Will certainly stay here again.

Great hotel in a great location. If you are a golfer, you will be in paradise. Non golfers will enjoy the hotel, pool, restaurants and exploring the surrounding area. This was the first time we visited Portugal and could not have enjoyed the experience any better.
