About the Hotel
The building now known as Hospes Amerigo went through many incarnations before it turned into a sleek, design-centric hotel in the heart of Alicante. It was first the Dominican Convent of Alicante before morphing into an office block and an apartment complex, and its history imbues the hotel with distinction. Bold details, such as geometrically abstract silk wall hangings, complement a neutral color scheme, while the rooftop restaurant and spa complex draws guests day and night. Alicante’s nightlife is sizzling, but it’s hard to resist a post-dinner massage.

Super hotel in a fantastic location.
Hotel is in a fantastic central location handy for everything. The rooms are very comfortable and nice. Beds super comfortable. Staff very friendly and leisure facilities are good. All in all a very nice experience and happy to recommend.

Stunning Hotel and Amazing attentive staff
Recently stayed at Hospes Amerigo, with a large group of 36 of us. I was absolutely blown away by this Hotel, in particular the service we received. Cristina, Rocio, and all of the team could not do enough for us and made our trip just perfect. Gorgeous spacious bright rooms. Beautiful Reception that had Hospes signature smell which is divine. Great location too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Hotel to anyone. Look forward to staying again soon.

A well located hotel that punches well above its weight. Everything and everyone was exceptional. Tremendous value for money and well informed helpful staff.

Fantastic City Break
Greeted at the hotel with a glass of cava, the room wasn’t ready but they took our luggage whilst we went off to explore. A few issues on the first night but were sorted out the following day. Rooms immaculate, roof top pool and bar a great sun trap away from the hustle and bustle. Breakfast was spot on, other reviews commenting about the coffee machine queues seemed harsh as only had to wait a minute . Fantastic location everything to see is within 15 minutes walk from the hotel.

Great hotel, nicely positioned metres from the waterfront and the tree lined promenade..The staff were extremely helpful with places and restaurants to visit, and their breakfast had many options..Rooms were spacious and comfortable..
