Mercure Alice Springs Resort

Great staff from booking to checking-out. Perfectly clean property. Efficient AC. Enjoyable pool. However the resort layout and our room features look old fashioned. For instance there was no handheld shower with a hose in the shower, only a fixed showerhead , and there was no shower at all in the bathtub (how to rinse?). Room service options were also very limited. To sum up, current management seemingly makes the most of the buildings, but renovations would be welcome.

Excellent hotel, located just over the Todd River from the city centre. It is a short walk if you feel up to it. Room was spacious although a little dated, especially the bathroom. Restaurant was excellent and staff very friendly. Front of house staff were always helpful and friendly.

Whilst the hotel could do with some upgrades, what could have been a mediocre stay was made worthwhile by the experienced and excellent staff who made you feel welcome, and nothing was any trouble. I was staying for a work trip, and as a solo woman in Alice Springs, I won't lie. Safety was my number one concern, but this hotel was safe and secure. I was surprised at how quiet the rooms were, too. I stayed in the garden court, and the rooms were very comfortable with amenities such as a mini fridge, tea, and coffee, and milk was provided. The bathroom had a very good shower (nice hot water and good pressure), good towels, and amenities. There was a decent sized desk with power outlets, which I appreciated being on a work trip. The bed was fabulous, very comfortable for a good night sleep, and lots of pillows (yay!!). The curtains were blockout for the sunshine, which is great for privacy and good night sleep. I would not recommend any women walking around by themselves in Alice Springs, especially at night due to safety concerns, so I had dinner at the restaurant each night, which was very nice. Good food, attentive staff, and nice outlook. The pool was amazing!! After a long day of work, it was bliss to dive into the cool water and then sit and relax with a drink by the pool. Overall, whilst the rooms could do with a spruce up (I had a broken chair and filled out the csrd but nothing happened), it is a good option for staying in Alice Springs.

Nice hotel near the center of Alice. Stayed for two nights. The room was serviced each day which was appreciated. The pool is good. The Wi-Fi is good. The room was well organized and well equipped. Had dinner in the restaurant which was pleasant and good. The breakfast buffet was average.

Nice hotel just a short walk from town. Comfortable and clean room friendly staff would rebook I thought the breakfast was a bit expensive but extensive buffet
