The Residence Maldives

While ot takes a little longer to reach the resort from Male, you will not be disapppinted. Views from every location. We stayed in a pool over water villa on the sunrise side. While the tide was often too low for snorkling from your villa, sea life was in abundance. Fish galore, reef sharks and even a turtle. Staying on a standard all inclusive package we were never hungry. Food was amazing and beautifully presented. Wait staff diligent yet friendly. The smaller island of Fahlu was easier to navigate and felt more homely. The sister island over the bridge was more wide spread and bikes were a must to get around. The other island had the better reef and all excursions left from there. The sea life of the reef was amazing. We did the 90min reef tour as well as the bottom line fishing. Both a great experoence. The only downfall was the long waits getting back from Fulhu of an evening. Taken care of from the momemt we touchef down in Male till the moment we left. My only suggestion would be to make processes a little clearer like a pamphlet in the room. Simple yhings like knowing you need to sign for meals and pay for excursions at reception to more detailed checkout procedures. On checkout we were dropped at the dining room, not at our request. Were told a shuttle would pick us up at 7.55. We waited and waited until a waitress informed us we had to walk to reception for that. A minor gripe that could easily be fixed with better communication. A big shout out to Pinky who took care of our room our entire stay and never failed to smile.

We truly loved your hotel, the service, the food, and the fact that there were just the right number of guests. We got married on the island, and everything was so well planned. The staff was outstanding in their service, and we could not have been more satisfied.

Fantastic people, amazing food and an extremely spacious beach Villa (number 200) Only thing the beach all round is full of rocks and dead coral. You can’t walk on it or go into the sea without beach shoes. We didn’t see any sea life in the two weeks of our stay.

Our holiday in the Maldives was unforgettable, and the exceptional staff made it even more special. Zeek gave us the warmest welcome, and Jaavid and Suhana ensured every meal in the dining room was perfect. Kamrul and Samitha at the Beech Bar created a relaxed atmosphere with impeccable service, while Uzzal and Aramez kept our room spotless and comfortable. Evenings at the Li Bar / Long Island were a delight thanks to Jawad and Hasa, who always greeted us with smiles and fantastic drinks. Their dedication and friendliness made our stay truly remarkable. Thank you also to all the buggy drivers who ushered us to different locations with warmth and pleasure.
