Conrad Algarve

Just the most fabulous stay. The refurbishment is really impressive, staff are lovely, and Gusto to celebrate our anniversary and both birthdays was AMAZING. The food and service was absolutely world class. First class hotel

Second 1-week visit. Can’t fault it. Genuine 5-luxury. Good location, near plenty of restaurants and a couple of bars. Pool beds can get a bit hit & miss but mostly a hit.

First shout out is to the staff! Every single person - whether it was Joao at valet, Lucia at check-in or anyone else we bumped into; the crew was absolutely brilliant. Thoroughly professional whilst being absolutely personable. As for the property and the small touches added, I have had the privilege of staying at Waldorf’s that can not compare to the level of service provided here as well as how magnanimous the property was. The Diamond benefits were great (upgrade to a suite) + free spa entrance amongst others. Moreover, a birthday cake set in the room for my fathers birthday. Seldom am I return guest, but I will return to the Conrad Algarve to hopefully repeat this memorable stay.

We had a wonderful week at The Conrad. The staff were absolutely exceptional- so thoughtful, friendly and helpful. We couldn’t fault our time there, it was a wonderfully warm experience.

Lovely facility with a staff that is very eager to please. Staff repeatedly went out of their way to fix mistakes or help in, often, unnecessary ways (eg pool attendant insisted on carrying a glass full of ice for my wife who was carrying nothing at all). But the hotel is not without (modest) problems. Signage (eg about pool hours or directions to fitness center) is very bad. Attempts to address a family member's food allergies were appreciated, but often inadequate and thus more hassle than help. Probably the worst problem was that extensive email exchanges with concierge well in advance of stay settled on 3 arrangements for concierge to make for my family - but the concierge and hotel team completely failed on 2 of them (the arrangements were simply not made or made for a different date than agreed). The hotel staff was nice about addressing those mistakes, but at least one such mistake was not addressable at all - very disappointing. Do not recommend having concierge make arrangements unless you are already present at hotel.
