Located in the Northwest of Saudi Arabia, Our Habitas AlUla is nestled among an ancient oasis in a desert valley surrounded by spectacular sandstone cliffs and palm groves with pathways leading up to one of 96 guest rooms, reception, a yoga deck, wellness and fitness centers, restaurant and a swimming pool. Every room is made from ethically sourced organic materials that blend seamlessly into the natural surroundings with minimal disruption and a sustainable programming leaving no trace on the environment. Our programming is the backbone for creating magical moments for us. The six programming pillars, which include: wellness, adventure, culture, learning and F&B are authentic collaborations with the local culture and nature. Tama, the restaurant, is a place to come together and experience an immersive culinary journey through time. With farm-to-table practices and sustainable agricultural methods. The food & beverage concept infuses Saudi & Middle Eastern cuisine, using local, fresh ingredients, such as spices once traded along the incense route, bringing Saudi Arabia’s unique flavors to life.

The hotel is in the most amazing setting a location but the rest completely falls short. The service is poor, nothing was done in the time that was promised, it was a valentines weekend and th flowers came tue day after and the cake never came. That sums up the whole service experience. The rooms were OK, but really they were double wide trailers that were put together with not greet construction or appearance a clearly th place was aging. The beds were good, the shower was poor. The facilities felt like it was for one big instagram shoot which is fun I guess but the hotel did not fulfill the 2k a night price. Honestly felt like I was taken advantage of. I think you should definitely go to Alula but stay at Banyan Tree. The only great thing was the availability of the golf carts to got to locations on the grounds and the staff there was nice and helpful. Reception was also really poor experience and the concierge didn’t even appear until our last day.

Staying at Our Habitas AlUla is more than a hotel visit – it’s an experience where nature, stillness, and genuine human connection come together in a way that feels both exclusive and deeply personal. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed with authentic hospitality. The staff are attentive without being intrusive, and there’s a strong sense of community throughout the resort. It never feels like a large, anonymous property – rather, like a small desert village where everyone greets you with a smile. For families, this atmosphere makes all the difference. It feels safe, calm, and personal, with staff who truly care about creating a meaningful stay. Nestled among the dramatic sandstone cliffs of Ashar Valley, the setting is simply spectacular. Morning coffee with panoramic desert views and evenings under a sky filled with endless stars are moments you don’t forget. The contrast between contemporary, sustainable architecture and thousands-of-years-old rock formations creates something truly unique. Habitas AlUla’s landscape feels almost otherworldly in its beauty. Sunrise yoga, guided desert walks, open-air dinners under candlelight, and cultural experiences all add to the sense of presence and connection. Put away your phone, It’s a place to slow down. To reflect. To reconnect. We arrived as guests but left as a family. With great respect and regards to all the staff and Ismail for making this journey a memory for life. And a big thank you for the possibility to attend the Iftar at Maraya, truly a memorable visit.
