Do not go here! Much nicer options on San Pedro. I was shocked at how run down the place is. We rely on Amex preferred property Reva and there was nothing “luxury” about this place. In the US a 2 star resort. The upstairs of the condo has a horrible sewage smell. The furniture was stained. The pool furniture was falling apart. The bathroom shower floors were covered in mold. And the plaster bathroom has a literal outhouse on the balcony. As in outside, in the middle of the night, full of bugs and no air. Do yourself a favor and find a different space for your holiday. If you are. Hotel snob, you will be checking out early as we did. And we were not the only ones.

The overall experience was not at all what we expected. The smell, which can not be entirely controlled, was truly terrible. On top of that the hotel rooms were dirty with stained sheets on all of the beds. The couch and chairs were also heavily stained. The bathrooms were not only dirty, even after housekeeping, but one was also outside (we were not told this prior to our stay). The service was not great, poolside or in the restaurant, and when asked questions the front desk staff were not very helpful or willing to answer. Overall, we would NOT stay here again.

Wow I have no words to even describe what an amazing time I had at Las Terrazas! Everyone was so friendly from the moment I got to the island to the moment I left. The food was amazing, drinks were so good and the vibes were just perfect. The staff is honestly the best part of this resort, as they are all such wonderful & beautiful people. I just left today and I’m already planning on coming back really soon. Las Terrazas is now my home away from home ❤️

DO NOT STAY HERE !! This place is a complete scam. My friend and I had our jewelry STOLEN the night before we flew back to the States, and the staff had the nerve to play dumb when we reported it. They knew exactly what they were doing — timing it so we had no chance to file a proper report. The resort is full of blind spots with zero camera coverage, which makes it easy for thieves to get in and out of your room. That’s not an accident — that’s by design. We weren’t the only ones. Other guests told us their things were stolen too. When they reported it, staff basically admitted it happens all the time; which explains why my friend headphones went missing earlier in the trip. So why is nothing being done? Because the people “handling” the reports are in on it. It’s a full-blown setup. The beach? Disgusting. Flies crawling all over our food. The shower pressure was pathetic, and the water smelled like sewage. On top of that, the staff were straight-up rude and dismissive. We and other minority guests experienced clear racism from multiple employees. I managed to talk to a police officer at the airport who tried to help, but of course, the so-called officer in charge of the case turned out to be part of the whole damn scheme. This resort is corrupt, filthy, and dangerous. If you value your safety or your belongings, STAY AWAY. I will NEVER set foot near this place again.

So much to do and the food was amazing. I went out on the paddle boards all the time and got to see the nurse sharks, if that’s not your vibe the pool and pool suede service is amazing.
