About the Hotel

Once a nondescript public library building, overlooking the Prinsengracht (Prince’s Canal), Andaz Amsterdam has been transformed into a fantastical dream-world by Dutch architect and renowned designer Marcel Wanders. The location was perfect. Easily walkable to everything we wanted to see and do. The staff was welcoming from our arrival to departure. The hotel bar staff was friendly and had great recommendations for food and drinks. Our room was clean and comfortable. Daily service for our room was fast and professional!

This a classic style over substance- over designed with a remarkable arrogance in making it user friendly. Terrific nightly game to find the hidden light switches and shortfall in comfortable seating in room for more than one.

Wonderful hotel. A super fun and stylish hotel in a perfect location. Service was 5 star with professional, accommodating staff. Breakfast is as good as it gets. Rooms were very very nice and perfect amount of space for a busy vacation. I would not look elsewhere if I go back to Amsterdam.

Amazing hotel. Located in the best part of town with many restaurants and shops. The hotel is top 5 star experience. From the design of the room with a walk-in closet, mini-bar without extra charge, and an amazing restaurant (Renvy) and bar at the hotel. The garden is also beautiful and private. Highly recommended for a romantic getaway or any other purposes.
