Beautiful hotel conveniently located to major attractions. About a 20 minute walk to Rijks Museum and Anne Frank House and Dam Square. Funky hotel vibe is very inviting. Rooms are nicely appointed and very comfortable. Staff is very attentive as would be expected at a property of this expense.

Travel like a local, put your self in the middle of city’s iconic view, this is one of flagship Andaz brand worldwide, vibrant, full of creativity, all those imaginations just delights you in every way! We booked a twin bedroom, decent size, furniture just like art piece, well decorated. The lift experience just one of the highlight, I like the garden more, and luckily it is tulip season, you may skip Kukenholf ~~ AMS is not cheap, and I think Andaz is price right for its brand positioning for those always travel in style!

Avoid this place at all costs and do not waste your money booking a stay here. If you are drawn in by the creative interior design, just walk into the public restaurant and bar instead. Save yourself the rudeness, arrogance, drama, and total lack of service of an actual overnight stay. The hotel is severely understaffed to cut corners. The same stressed receptionist answers housekeeping calls, runs the front desk, and pretends to be the manager when you demand to speak to one. No one smiles, and the attitude is aggressively dismissive. Even the room comfort is nonexistent. The mattress and pillows were hard as a rock, and when I asked for toothpaste, they sent up a micro-sample in a paper sachet, despite the fact that I was paying for their most expensive double room. The service in the restaurant is completely toxic. The restaurant manager selectively greeted certain guests while completely ignoring others. When I tried to ask a different staff member for help, she aggressively snapped, "I'm on duty at the front desk, ask someone else," and walked away. The breakfast itself is sickening. The salmon smelled so foul it made me nauseous, and the muffins taste like literal sponges. Even ordering a basic cappuccino with an extra shot turned into a ridiculous staff argument. The waiter lacked basic English skills, panicked over a simple coffee modification, and vanished for 15 minutes. I walked out hungry, frustrated, and completely ignored. Hold onto your dignity and stay somewhere else

Very sad about my stay at Andaz. I usually love every one that I’ve stayed at, but my AC wasn’t working at all during my stay. They brought me a fan, but I could barely sleep the room was so warm. I couldn’t believe this was a thing with the price I paid each night. No offer of credit or partial refund was the most disappointing part. Otherwise the bar and staff were great.

The hotel was very clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help whenever we needed anything. The service was excellent, and you could really tell that the team cared about making guests feel comfortable. The location was also very convenient, and the hotel had a great atmosphere. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and high-quality place to stay. I would happily come back again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
