Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht

Stayed at the Andaz Hyatt during Pride and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The service was exceptional, the location perfect for exploring the city, and the breakfast absolutely fantastic. The hotel fully embraced the celebration, which was wonderful to see. Styled to the max, the property is an experience in itself—full of vibrant murals and creative touches that make getting lost in the details a joy. Highly recommend.

This is an exceptional hotel. The decor was designed by Dutch designer Marcel Wanders and is very unique and contemporary. However, functionality and comfort in the room has not been sacrificed for the esthetics. The staff and service were excellent. Staff members went out of their way to be attentive and promtly address requests. The included breakfast buffet was top notch, well above in quality of the usual hotel fare. The location is also excellent, in the city's central canal district and only a 10 minute walk from both the Rijksmuseum and the Royal Palace. Extensive shopping and numerous restaurants were within a 5 minute walk. I would certainly return the next time I'm in Amsterdam.

Our stay at Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht was unforgettable. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. The location is perfect and the staff went out of their way at every possible moment to ensure our stay was incredible. They arranged an outstanding boat tour that was the perfect activity after our arrival. The boat picked us up directly in front of the hotel and our boat guide was phenomenal and helped us get acclimated to the city. With so many boat options, having the staff recommend such an incredible experience was helpful. The bar and restaurant onsite have developed a truly unique menu based on local ingredients. They were also able to recommend and arrange reservations for many of our dining experiences. We never would have discovered the rice table at Sampurna and cocktails at Door 74 without them.  Our room was spacious and comfortable. Great amenities including water, drinks, and snacks were included daily in the room. They truly have thought of everything - plush robes, slippers, hair dryer, nespresso machine, option to plug in a room freshener, and even a plug adapter - little details that add to the outstanding vibe.  Highly recommend booking this hotel and a thousand thank you for the staff for everything.

Amazing staff and hotel. I've stayed several times and it is always my favorite in Amsterdam. Patrick and Laurie made the trip extra special. Shannon left me a lovely Delft house in my room. Dreamy.

Let me start saying that this is by far our fav hotel in Amsterdam. This was our 3rd time staying here and each time we love it more. Location is unbeatable, walking distance to everything and peaceful when you enter the hotel. We came to celebrate pride and die both activities that the hotel organized. Saturday parade we did veuve deck and it was phenomenal, fun, well organize and perfect to enjoy the parade with lots of bubbles. Sunday we did the drag brunch and enjoyed it a lot. We were lucky enough to be around Audrey when we checked in and to instantly became friends with her. She is the kindest, attentiveness and sweetest. Andaz is lucky to have someone like her working here. Thank you Audrey for keep checking on us and help us when we needed something.
