Once a nondescript public library building, overlooking the Prinsengracht (Prince’s Canal), Andaz Amsterdam has been transformed into a fantastical dream-world by Dutch architect and renowned designer Marcel Wanders. Traditional Dutch art and culture meshes with the present at every turn. Sit in the oversized tulip chairs, read the history of Amsterdam on the wallpaper, stroll through the romantic secretive garden, and take pictures in our Instagram-worthy Observatorium - where the history of Dutch seafaring is retold through light-fixture constellations and Old World maps.

Great location and good sized rooms. Staff was great. Walls could probably be repainted/cleaned but rooms were clean and restaurant on site was good. One of the few places I could find that had a king sized bed and AC. Garden view was great- I would not pay more for canal view. Canal in front of hotel was not that nice and water in canals is brown. Just sharing in case it’s your first in Amsterdam as it was ours. Spa had a rest area and shower which great while waiting for our room after a red eye. Would definitely choose this hotel again if I ever go back.

Absolutely incredible stay at the Andaz Hyatt Amsterdam! The property is stunning, the rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, and the staff were outstanding — so warm, attentive, and professional. Everything about the experience exceeded expectations. Can’t wait to return!

True to the Andaz brand. Fantastic location. Incredible Decor. Impeccable rooms. Lots of character. A masterpiece in the heart of Amsterdam. The check in was a bit messy, many people waiting to be attended to, as a Globalist, expected a dedicated check in stand rather than having to wait. Forgiven, with everything I saw and experienced afterwards. Loved the Andaz Amsterdam!

This is an awesome hotel-great location in between main center and museum district. I would have given it a better rating but our room did not have heat after we checked in and it took all day to move us to a different room. In addition we forgot a pair of shoes and it took 3 days for them to find them. Maybe the house keeping kept them and after 3 days of asking the turned them in. I think the staff could have been more proactive to find them. We stayed on the second floor with great view of the canal. A little pricey @$1,000 a night but I would do it again.

Hotel Andaz was terrific. The food was great, accommodations excellent, and the staff extremely helpful, especially the concierge and front desk staff.
