Fabulous hotel, great service, amazing rooms, tasty variable breakfast and cocktails. Use of the hotel umbrella was appreciated :)

My stay at this hotel in Amsterdam was exceptional, not simply because of the hospitality, but because of the remarkable teamwork, professionalism, and attention to detail demonstrated by every employee I encountered. What impressed me most was how seamlessly the team operated. Employees anticipated one another's needs, communicated effortlessly, and worked together in almost perfect harmony. It was evident that providing an outstanding guest experience was a shared commitment. Two experiences particularly stood out. After misplacing a writing pen while dining the previous evening, I approached the front desk to inquire whether it had been found. The young lady assisting me was unsure, but a colleague who overheard our conversation immediately recognized the item, confirmed it had been recovered, and retrieved it. A small gesture, perhaps, but a wonderful example of attentiveness, communication, and teamwork. On another occasion, I needed to extend my stay. A young gentleman explained that the hotel was fully booked but promised to check for cancellations and update me around noon. True to his word, he followed up exactly as promised. Unfortunately, no room had become available, but what impressed me was his accountability and follow-through. He made a commitment and honored it without requiring a reminder. I also had the pleasure of observing Bella interacting with both guests and colleagues. Her professionalism, warmth, and respect for others were especially impressive. Although Bella is the one individual whose name I remember, I could offer equally positive compliments about every employee I encountered. What makes this hotel special is that its employees don't simply perform their individual responsibilities well. They operate as one coordinated team, each contributing unique strengths while working toward a common purpose. I often think of exceptional organizations as a living body, with each individual contributing like a vital organ and the organizational culture serving as the nervous system that connects everything. That is precisely what I observed here. The result is something truly special: a team that doesn't merely talk about hospitality but consistently demonstrates it through everyday actions. Exceptional service is not always about delivering the outcome a guest desires. Sometimes, it is about demonstrating genuine care, accountability, and professionalism regardless of the outcome. This team understands that distinction. My sincere compliments to Bella, the entire staff, and the hotel's leadership for cultivating what appears to be a remarkable service culture. An outstanding experience that I would gladly recommend to others.

Amazing! Staff was friendly, accommodating, proactive in helping us shape our itinerary and also setting up our room and sending extra towels or pillows as needed. The restaurant was delicious! I could have eaten there each night but obviously needed to eat in the city. Bartenders were also great. The hotel breakfast was delicious as well with vegan, dairy free and other options available.

Exceptional service from the entire staff at the Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht, even before we checked in! The hotel is beautiful and again, the service outstanding!

Great CNN location and the everyone on their team was great. We enjoyed the gin tasting upon arrival after a glass of sparkling wine. I cannot remember the name of the young man who did the tasting but he became a favorite of us. Also Mike at the bar. Everyone was great and I would definitely stay here again. Be sure to ask about the story of their decor-very unique.
