Once a nondescript public library building, overlooking the Prinsengracht (Prince’s Canal), Andaz Amsterdam has been transformed into a fantastical dream-world by Dutch architect and renowned designer Marcel Wanders. Traditional Dutch art and culture meshes with the present at every turn. Sit in the oversized tulip chairs, read the history of Amsterdam on the wallpaper, stroll through the romantic secretive garden, and take pictures in our Instagram-worthy Observatorium - where the history of Dutch seafaring is retold through light-fixture constellations and Old World maps.

Location !! Location absolutely perfect for walking museums shopping restaurants in Jordaan. Buffet Breakfast included with Chase Edit was extensive fish meats cheese eggs cereal fresh fruit desserts yoghurts breads etc. Our twin room was spacious and very clean with daily service. Hotel staff friendly and efficient. Stylish hotel with excellent sauna and gym. Our room faced lovely flowered courtyard.

Really a good location but above all else, decor was unbelievable . Book a canal view if you can. Very attentive, friendly and well- trained staff. Our room was really comfortable, clean and funky - yet very practical. Breakfast’s offered a wide range of choices and like with most ‘boutique Hyatt’s’ stay in one you can

Location and staff are amazing, the rooms suck! Outdated w/o a single usb-c connect. Room vanity and faucet are in the room, not separated, but 30cm from the bed. And a window that looks into the lobby! So you can wave to the other guests and they can wave back.

We stayed in July 2026. Location superb. Walking distance to just about everything in the centre of Amsterdam. Large room. Excellent attention to detail. Staff very friendly. Internal fit out and decoration exceptional. You pay good money but you do get good service and a great place to stay. If you plan to stay a week maybe go cheaper. For 2 to 3 nights - couldn't be a better choice.

The location was perfect. Everything about our room was excellent and in many aspects unique. The decor of the hotel was stunning. The breakfast was superb with lots of variety of excellent food. The staff were helpful and friendly at every turn or request. Would recommend to anyone visiting Amsterdam.
