I Didn't Want To Leave
The Dylan has now become the only hotel I will stay with when I return to Amsterdam. The property is stunning and has the best location. The staff are incredible and were essential in making our trip run smoothly. The concierge staff were so helpful with booking dinner reservations and tours as well as transport to the airport. My wife and I recently stayed at The Dylan Amsterdam, and from the moment we arrived it was clear that this is a hotel operating at an exceptionally high level — largely because of its people. Throughout our stay, every interaction felt thoughtful and effortless, as though the team anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. Dining and dinner reservations were handled with the same quiet precision. Whether it was arranging meals, offering recommendations, or accommodating last-minute requests, the staff managed everything seamlessly and with an impressive level of sophistication. Nothing ever felt rushed or transactional — just calm, confident service delivered with real care. What truly stood out was the consistency. From front desk to a drink at the bar, every member of the team embodied the same standard of attentiveness and polish, creating an experience that felt cohesive and deeply relaxing. It’s rare to find a hotel where the service enhances the stay so completely without ever calling attention to itself. The Dylan is a special place, and the staff are very much the reason why. Amazing experience
I don't like to write reviews but wanted to make an exception to talk about our stay at The Dylan. Everything was just right, from the location, the rooms - we staid in two recently renovated rooms which were perfect and incredibly quiet-, the restaurant - we had dinner, breakfast and lunch at their brasserie-, to every single interaction with the staff who went out of their way to give us the best experience possible. No doubt we'll go back!
